the shower pressure was too strong so the bathroom floor was wet halfway across the bathroom

Location, size, ease of check in.

It wasn’t clear that their restaurant would be shut. It would have been good to have been told as it was Easter and we had not organised anywhere else to eat.

Good location. Room was a decent size

Room was very smelly, not sure if perhaps it had flooded during the cyclone but really needed to be aired out or have the carpets cleaned. Very tired but ok for the price.

The bar meal. The room was a little tired but was clean and bed comfortable. Had electric blanket and heater. Was spacious

The place is very quiet at night. Also, the service at salty dog was great and the food too.

Reasonable size of the room and nice garden even in the back of the house. Gas station right next to the hotel and also a liquor store. Pub and restaurant belong to the hotel but I didn't eat there, so no idea about the quality or the prices

First of all they charge $40(!) for bringing your dog with the reason that (quote:) "they always leave such a mess". Might be true but not necessarily. Couldn't you just charge a fair amount or even better just nothing when your pet is cleaner than most children and better behaving as well?! (When you mention it, you get treated like a Karen and just ignored btw, even though you say it in a normal tone) And if charging such an amount, why were there stains in my room? I expect the room being super clean for charging such a fee but the opposite appeared. (I took the pictures right after entering the room, so not much more than a bit of vacuuming was done to this floor). The rest of the stay was ok, even though the back door didn't close very well. Even after checking if locked, it opened once or twice. Maybe just a bit run out. The mattresses could get changed as well bc no matter on which side you fell asleep, you ended up in the middle of the bed and I was by myself and wasn't pulled there by a partner.

good value for price. staff lovely. had on-site restaurant and bar. rooms were massive.

is a bit run down, could do with a refurb.

Dinner was excellent. Had pork ribs. YUMM.. lovely grounds & room had everything needed. Happy customer
