Holiday House With Sea Views
Das Lookout ist ein luxuriöses Ferienhaus in South Devon in Broadsands, Torbay. Das Anwesen wurde im April 2014 zu einem sehr hohen Standard komplett renoviert. Es ist ein atemberaubender Bungalow mit drei Schlafzimmern mit Blick auf den Blue Flag Broadsands Beach & Torbay. Es bietet die perfekte Selbstversorger-Urlaubsunterkunft für den größeren Familienurlaub oder zwei Paare teilen. Das Haus bietet bequem Platz für 4 Erwachsene und 2 Kinder und verfügt über alle modernen Annehmlichkeiten wie kostenfreies WLAN. Broadsands Strand ist leicht zu erreichen (500m) auf einem öffentlichen Fußweg, der von der Straße oben zum Strand führt. Mit herrlichem Blick auf die Küste vom Wohnbereich und erhöhten Terrassendielen ist es auch ein idealer Ort, um die Dampfzüge zu beobachten oder weiter nach Brixham, Dartmouth oder den South Hams zu fahren.

The listing is accurate. Ideal location if you have a car. In a calm and quiet neighbourhood The host provided two large complementary bottled of water and a small jug of milk. The kitchen is well equipped and nicely organised. Beautiful view out of the living room and dining area. The property manager was very responsive when we had questions.

Looks very sad and unkempt on arrival. The gardens are totally overgrown and uncared for. The bedroom curtains are torn and discoloured. We arrived and the property had not been cleaned, dirty bedding still on bed's. My wife had to contact the cleaners, who came and did the cleaning, but it was well after six o clock before we could settle in. The property needs some TLC, it could be lovely if cared for a bit more, but as the property is up for sale I don’t suppose they are bothered.
One of the biggest things that annoyed us was the fact that the whole area has cryptosporidium in the water, which made the stay very difficult, as you can’t use the water for cooking, drinking or cleaning teeth. We had to find water distribution places to get bottled water. This is no fun on holiday. We were not informed of this and only found out by looking for a contact number because of the cleaning, we could have easily drunk the water before knowing it was infected!

The Lookout was the ideal place to visit with the family.
Three bedrooms and two bathrooms gave us plenty of space. The view was as good as ever, this was our second visit. Even the weather was good for the end of October! I hope we will be able to stay again.

The bungalow was fantastic. The view was amazing. I feel the only thing letting it down was that there was no blind's or curtains in the lounge or kitchen.

Lovely modern bungalow with a beautiful view over the bay. Comfortable and everything you need. The beach is just a 10 min walk away with a lovely cafe. Weather was really kind to us also.

The property is in a fantastic position - we were happy to spend the day relaxing on the decking enjoying the view, the fabulous weather & the peace & quiet. The property has a nice beach house vibe. We would love to return.

Had a great stay. Property was clean and had everything we needed. Please note that there are no curtains on the back of the house - we were woken up early by the gardener who then stayed 2 hours and he could see straight into the property at us all. The milk on arrival was a lovely touch. Thank you and we will not hesitate to book again should we be in the area.

The house was fantastic, had everything you needed for a self catering break. Close to 2 beaches (1 dog friendly) and a short drive to Paignton/Brixham.

It is a beautiful bungalow and suited our needs perfectly for my husband, mother who is 88 and myself. Beautiful views, warm and cosy, comfortable beds and lovely shower. The only snag was three steep steps leading up to the bungalow and steep driveway if someone had a mobility problem. But we loved it.

Beautiful home in a beautiful location. The house is well equipped with everything you need.
The house is in a great location with easy access to some of Devon’s prime locations by car and broad sands beach and elderberry cove in a short walking distance.
It would have been the icing on the cake if there had been a nice pub in walking distance too but all in all we had a great time and would definitely come back!

We had an amazing holiday in this lovely house, great location, wonderful views. Kitchen has everything you need if you decide to cook. Would highly recommend!

Perfect location, local beach within 5 mins with restaurants/cafes and very clean toilet facilities. Added extra of seeing the steam train everyday go past, we dashed out at the sound of the toot toot!
Property is well laid out, bedrooms are separated from main living space by a door that once closed no one is disturbed. High standard of accommodation, ideal for families with outdoor garden space and inroad parking. We had a problem with the dishwasher which was resolved in under 24 hours at no disruption to us.
Would recommend and hope to visit again!

We loved our stay at The Lookout. My mother, husband and I, as well as our four year old son loved the house and location. The beach being a short away was ideal with children and the Venus cafe which opened while we were staying served delicious food which we enjoyed both in the cafe and take away!
We loved visiting Brixham (pirate ship was a great success!) and Torbay (where we had the most success crabbing) and also the local farm shop (Churston) was an excellent local shopping resource (delicious BBQ food and steaks at the butchers counter) and great café with play area next door.
We can thoroughly recommend The Lookout, ideal for families, well equipped , very comfortable and relaxing. Our son loved the bunk beds and I loved the blackout curtains! Overall a great holiday cottage!

Great location for exploring the English Riviera and south Devon. Stunning sea views from private garden and decking area, and a train spotters paradise. Parking was on road but never a problem
(drive is very steep and narrow). Comfortable, clean and well equipped accommodation. Easy walk of two beaches. Would happily stay there again.

Excellent property containing everything that was necessary to have an indulgent and relaxing stay. Very clean in a quiet neighbourhood and super views right across Torbay from the rear deck. We can highly recommend this property.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this lovely cottage. It has lovely views across the bay, is very clean and well equipped for all your family needs including children cutlery etc, bed guard and even washing liquid to do a wash or too which we definitely needed. It is very close to Broadsands beach and a short drive to surrounding areas.We definitely intend to return next year. Just lovely!!!

We loved staying here. We especially enjoyed the view over Torbay towards Torquay, both during the day and at night. We loved seeing and hearing the old steam stream going past nearby. The area is very quiet, which is a big plus for us. A couple of little issues were amazingly quickly sorted by the owner.One thing which I would like to see resolved, because it means a lot to me, is that although there is a recycling scheme in that locality, it wasn't set up properly at the property, so although we did our best with our recyclables, we weren't sure how well it worked.

Spectacular view of Torbay and steam train from this property. Lovely quiet neighbourhood we all had a great time and my boys want to live here.

We have thoroughly enjoyed our short stay at the Lookout. The views are stunning and from the moment we walked in we felt at home. The bungalow is situated in a very quiet area but with easy access to places to visit. We would definitely recommend and will hopefully be returning.
