Just a excellent & enjoyable place to stay

We had a Lovely stay at the Jacaranda B&B, great location as very close to shops and the Beach. Breakfast was freshly cooked and very tasty. Would definitely recommend for couples or families who want short break or weekend away. Thank you for a great stay and will definitely stay again!

The bed was a little hard for us but that is just personal preference, maybe an option of a mattress topper?

Jo is a lovely hard working host, doing everything to make our stay as comfortable and pleasant as possible.

The property is in a great location just minutes walk from the beach and town centre. Free street parking from October 1st. I had a single room, quite big with my own toilet and shower down the hallway. TV, kettle, tea/coffee, Wi-Fi. Breakfast was huge, kept me going all day. All in all excellent value for money.

Very small room. Noisey seagulls outside window, late and early hours. Parking a headache. Could with a handyman for small repairs, otherwise very clean.

The single bed room was very spacious and even though the private bathroom was along the corridor it was very nice. Lovely hospitality tray. Good variety breakfast with lovely fresh fruit salad

Perfect - everything was of a high standard. Landlady was excellent. Location was literally just a couple of minutes' walk to the beach, to the parks, bus station, railway station, heritage steam railway station, promenade facilities.

ALL was just great.

Excellent place to stay,host,fab full to order brecky,comfee bed,lots of hot water in shower.walking distance to twn ,shops,pubs,restruants,beach,harbour,steam/train and bus station,theatre.Stayed many times.

This was a probably my best stay away from home in more than two years. Although I arrived over an hour after my expected check-in time (my bus was late and then I got a bit lost in the new town), the landlady patiently waited for me and kindly showed me around despite it was rather late. The room was lovely, the breakfast was delicious, and I felt cosiness of home as soon as I crossed the doorstep.

The room was not ensuite (which was clearly stated in its description beforehand), but a private, lockable shower-room was ready for me just next door, so there was no disappointment at all.

Breakfast was excellent. Staff very obliging. Rooms spotless. Good position of B &B. Local to all amenities. Didn't use car once in a long weekend. Would stay here again
