One of the best vacations my family has ever had! The house is fantastic, great location, tropical feel, with everything you need. Very private and a short walk to the Eden Roc Beach Club. Marc and his team were attentive to our every need. Bedrooms were large, private and quiet! Great vacation and a great spot - I couldn’t recommend it more.

To start: Marc and his team were absolutely fantastic. Extremely responsive, helpful and truly interested in you having a stress free stay. The property: the home is a palapa style main house (NO WALLS) and properly furnished. The kitchen is a bit dated but, being exposed to the elements year round it is to be expected. Warning, the mosquitoes are legit. Bring plenty of spray! Bedrooms are in enclosed casita style buildings and are very nice, again just be aware of mosquitoes and keep doors closed at all times. Overall very nice. Location is great during the day but fairly loud at night and early AM from traffic in/out of Eden Roc. Be prepared for this to, at times, being annoying. Eden Roc itself was meh. The food is grossly overpriced and the staff there are frankly arrogant. During busy times you will be denied access (we were denied access 4/7 days we were there). Overall the home was great, the Sunny Punta Cana team was great and it’s the DR…. Weather is always great. I would recommend this home to others.

Caleton 1 was nothing short of paradise! The open air living space was beyond relaxing and spacious - beautiful views from anywhere inside the villa! The two detached casitas with the 3 bed/bath combos were well appointed, unique & comfortable. Location is incredible; next door to Eden Roc & a short golf cart ride to Punta Espada. Marc, Rosa & Elizabeth were the most gracious and hospitable. We cannot wait to return again, soon!

We stayed at Caleton 1 in early March. The trip was excellent. Location and access to Eden Roc were unbelievable. Management of the Villa and trip by Pablo, Marc, Alejandro, and the chef and housekeeping were all top notch. Great trip all around!

Sunny Punta Cana was the concierge group who acted as the host for our stay. I'm not sure how I can sing their praises enough to convince anyone viewing this review to book a property through them Marc Barrachina was a name on the other end of several emails. prior to our stay. Little did I know that Marc would become the person to make our trip as wonderful as it was. Truly. He saved us, put up with us, booked reservations for us, and quite frankly, got to know us. He is a gem. If it were not for marc, we might've had a more stressful vacation. There were MANY MANY highlights of this stay, most importantly Ramon, our FABULOUS (x10) private chef in Caleton 16, as well as sweet Judy the housekeeper in Caleton 16. We were nitially booked for Caleton 1, but whatever snafu caused the accommodation change for 2 nights, we welcomed it!!! After leaving Caleton 16, we transferred to Caleton 1 and loved it as well. I will ruin the spelling of her name, but our housekeeper Jobvana was sweet and helpful and more than willing to make our stay comfortable. The villa manager, Alejandro, was a delight. Honestly, the only thing I can complain about is something I cannot control and that is Mother Nature and the mosquito. Those mosquitos had a feast this week, but that did not ruin our stay. We had access to the Eden Roc Resort beach and pools, we dined at the Eden Roc restaurants, we took taxis to delicious restaurants on and off property (particular favorite was Bachata Rosa near the Blue Mall in Punta Cana). We had two great excursions a. a private deep sea fishing excursion where we caught enough Mahi Mahi to feed our family and then a scuba/snorkeling adventure to the nearby Catalina Island. There was not a day that someone did not check in with us or do something to go above an beyond out expectations. The Caleton Villas are BEYOND beautiful and coming home to rainy Northern Virginia was no fun. Don't miss those mosquitos, but I do miss the friendliness of the people of the DR, the excellent service and the wonderful food. I pray for an opportunity to go back soon. Thank you to everyone who did something to make our Christmas holiday so memorable.
