Stella Marina is the perfect place to relax from the touristy crowds of Venice and experience the beauty of this city among locals. The hosts are gracious, responsive and helpful. Traveling with a toddler can be challenging but having an accommodation like this was comfortable. Local restaurant provided take away meals and having an equipped kitchen was helpful. Cristina was always very responsive to emails and texts. Her and her huaband made us feel welcome. Highly recommend this apartment!

Our group of six travellers found this apartment to be clean , comfortable , affordable and a quiet area to rest while recouperating after our busy days of sight seeing ...!!! We would highly reccomend this place to our friends .. Cristine was a great source of support and direction for us .....

A bright and airy well equipped apartment easy to get to by water taxi. Excellent check in instructions from the owner especially as we arrived late at night. Giudecca is much quieter than the main areas of Venice so a welcome relief from the busy crowds around st Marks. The apartment was spacious and beautifully air conditioned, I would highly recommend it as a base for visiting Venice

We loved our stay. Hosts provided everything we needed. Apartment is spacious and can accommodate 2 couples comfortably. We will stay here again without a doubt!!

The apartment is situated on Giudecca which is a more peaceful and relaxing place than some other areas of Venice. Plenty of local restaurants and shops and you can be in St Marks square in ten minutes. Cristina was very helpful and met us at the vaparetto stop to show us to the apartment. The only problem was that at the last minute we were a party of 4 not 3 and we were asked to pay extra for the fourth person. I thought we had paid for the whole apartment not per person. With the tourist tax as well we had to pay an additional 123 euros on arrival. Even so we had a good holiday and I would recommend the apartment and it's location

This was my first time in Venice and these hosts were exceptional!! Directions were very clear for arrival and then they really helped us understand getting around and where needed things were like a supermarket, etc. The apt was fantastic, spacious, comfortable and clean! A huge bonus for me was the washing machine after having been traveling for 2 weeks. Although not on the main island, we really appreciated the break from all of the crowds. It also felt a little bit more local and authentic. I would recommend to my family and friends in a heartbeat!

From the moment I was met at the Hilton dock, our experience was fantastic. The apartment lived up to our expectations and was presented very accurately. It is in a great neighborhood, just removed from the action enough to create a quiet atmosphere, away from the crowds of central Venice. Easily served by the Alilaguna Blue Line, and a short distance from the vaporetto stop, we couldn't ask for better. And the apartment was beautiful and immaculately clean. I would recommend this apartment to anyone! And the hosts are terrific! They helped us out with our questions and made us feel at home from the beginning of our stay to our last day. The area has a grocery store nearby, a Catholic church, and a number of very good restaurants. I was sorry we had to leave at the end of our stay!

We were two couples staying in this apartment for three days post-cruise. It is spacious and conveniently located near the Hilton Stucky dock for waterbus by Alilaguna Line. Or a public dock is just down the street for using the ACTV waterbus for getting to San Marco or other areas of interest. We bought a 3-day City Pass which gave us unlimited use of the ACTV system for getting back and forth to San Marco area. The apartment was clean and Cristina was easy to work with. There are several restaurants down the street which we found convenient. I think we made the right choice in staying on the Isle of Giudecca away from the crowds in St. Marks' Square.

The apartment was very accessible. Cristina was lovey. It was great to have the air-con especially with the heat. The apartment had everything you would need and was very nice to stay in. I did however find the bathrooms slightly grubby, the showers are in need of a good clean. Overall though, our stay here was great!

A comfortable, clean apartment with all the amenities of home and more. The AC was a welcome relief from the July heat. We shopped and cooked in the well appointed kitchen. Giudecca is quiet and relaxed with a great grocery store. Easy access to the main island at Palanca waterbus stop. Christina will take excellent care of your group. She is a graceful and helpful owner and very easy to work with.

This is a lovely apartment. It is clean, spacious and well appointed. This property is in a great location on a quieter island in Venice, yet close to transportation. The owners, Cristina and Iginio, are fabulous. They personally met us at the vaporetto and escorted us to the apartment. Cristina familiarized us with the apartment and answered all questions. They have a welcome book with suggestions for restaurants (and discounts), maps, instructions for some of the appliances, the vaporetto schedules, etc. I have only compliments for Stella Marina 3. I would certainly stay here again and highly recommend this rental.

We loved our stay in Giudecca. It was easy to get the boat every day and lovely to get back to a quiet area at the end of the day. The apartment was very clean and well supplied. The owner met us the first day at the boat dock. She was very nice and helpful during our stay. The beds were comfortable. There are many restaurants nearby and grocery store is near if you want to cook. We had a great time, would love to return.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Giudecca apartment. There were five women in our group, so it was important to us to have enough space to accommodate each in a separate bed as well as two showers. The apartment fit the description perfectly. The location is excellent! We enjoyed coming home to a more residential feeling. The hustle and bustle of Venezia is great, but having a breather from it (but not too far away) was ideal. The apartment was a very close walk to the ACTV water bus stop at Guidecca. In addition, the apartment felt like home. Given the easy directions to the grocery store and stocked cookware in the unit, we made our way to Coop a couple of times for breakfast foods, wine, and homemade dinner one night. There is a bakery nearby as well as cafes to enjoy. Christina and her husband make the place very enjoyable. There is an info binder that was a handy reference for us. Also, it was great to start our stay with some of the cooking staples left by others. We also left a few for others to share. The WiFi worked very well. I didn't stream anything, so I can not comment on video. The Guidecca apartment is an outstanding property. I hope to be able to visit again someday.

We are a group of three friends (ladies) enjoying a short break together in Venice. We wanted comfortable, convenient, quiet accommodation and a bedroom each! We were not disappointed. Christina was so friendly and helpful. She met us from the ferry, advised us with regard to the locality and took us to the apartment. Stella Marina 3 was delightful and exactly what we needed - spotlessly clean and well equipped it added much to the wonderful time we had together, we would highly recommend it as a great place to stay when visiting Venice

We stayed with 2 adults, 3 children (6yr, 4yr, and 2yr old in a cot) and 2 grandparents. Beautiful apartment close to ferry, supermarket, restaurants and small children's playground. Host, Cristina, was easy to contact, gave us a warm welcome and provided good recommendations for local restaurants. Highly recommend.

We very much enjoyed our holiday in the Stella Marina apartment. It was a great decision to stay on Giudecca instead of the larger island as it allowed a more peaceful stay. We had plenty of space, even for a family of 6, and the apartment was well-furnished. We appreciated the hospitality from you and Iginio and look forward to staying with you again one day. We spent a week in this lovely apartment, and we enjoyed every minute. The place was clean and comfortable--thanks air conditioning!--and very quiet. Cristina, the owner, made sure everything was alright. Giudecca Island is a great place to stay when visiting Venice, far from the madding crowd, but a ten-minute vaporetto ride from the main tourist destinations. And you can have dinner or just a snack and a cicchetto at one of the restaurants and bars on the Giudecca canal while enjoying the view on the campanile di San Marco. I would come back!

Our group of six senior adult travelers decided to add two days to the end of our Mediterranean cruise and explore Venice. Since we wanted to all stay in the same location we decided to explore VRBO for possibilities. We were attracted by the pictures and descriptions of this property and were not disappointed in our choice. The location is a quiet one with excellent local transportation nearby to get to any destination in the old city. Our hosts met us as we disembarked from the shuttle boat that ran from the cruise pier directly to the Hilton Hotel next door to our apartment. We found everything in the apartment to be just as it was promised in the listing. It is beautiful, clean and all amenities were excellent. Our host, Cristiina, assisted us with transportation issues, including booking a water taxi for our 3:30 am departure to the airport to catch our 6:00 am flight. We are recommending this apartment to our friends who travel abroad, knowing that they will find the apartment and the hosts to be everything they promised in the VRBO listing. This apartment was a very happy surprise for us and made it easy for us to enjoy our visit to this wonderful city. We recommend this property without reservation.

Five of us stayed in Stella Marina apartment 3 recently. One of the most accurate descriptions online that we've encountered in our travels. This is an excellent apartment with nice owners who will work well with you. They are quick to communicate. The apartment layout was excellent for our needs, very well maintained and cleaned. I would not hesitate to recomment the apartment to anyone. Location on Giudecca Island across from the main part of Venice is not a problem, and a vaporetto stop is fairly close by. JW, USA

I have rented both this and other apartments from the same owner, and they are superb. Situated in a quiet but very central area on the Giudecca, the most authentic part of Venice, it offers really good value for money. Modern, stylish and comfortable. The owner, Cristina, is very accomodating and helpful.

Our family of 6 loved our stay at Stella Marina 3 and wished we could have stayed longer. Christina provided detailed instructions of location and greeted us promptly at agreed upon time. Gave us a through tour of apartment and provided detailed instructions of facilities. Very warm and kind owners. We found apartment very clean, well laid out for space, very comfortable and fully stocked with all the comforts of home. They advised us of local shopping and restaurants near by. My family of six had a great stay in Stella Marina 3. We found the pictures to be very representational of the apartment; it is in great shape, modern and clean. The air conditioners kept it pleasantly cool in the heat of the Venice summer. If you have concerns about staying in Giudecca, don't. You are a short boat ride away from St. Marks, and the boats run frequently. We found it to be pleasantly quiet and a nice respite from the crowds of Venice in the summer, yet you can reach the heart of Venice very quickly. You will almost certainly want to get the unlimited passes for the water taxis. We enjoyed the location so much that we would choose to stay in Giudecca again, and we would gladly stay in Stella marina again. For reference, it is just steps away from the Hilton Molino Stucky. A nice sized grocery store and several restaurants are close, and Cristina and Iginio were pleasant and professional hosts. I hope that we will return !
