My wife and i loved this property while celebrating our 4 year anniversary. Everything was in walking distance of our room. We walked out our back door onto the beach. We were greeted by all staff anytime we walked. I definitely like the different foods that were served. We stayed at Adults side, however the Palace had more options as far food and activities. We had a bottle of alcohol for the duration of our stay. We had a hard time getting our minibar refilled so i definitely would say get your cleaned or you may not get your minibar restocked. The property was pretty clean as well. The rooms could use an update.

Ir was an amazing experience. We had a blast the staff were always friendly and helpful. The hotel was beautiful and the beach was great.

We had a family member birthday #60 in the hotel and a five days stay. Evelyn Ramirez help us coordinating the group visit and the dinner for 30 family members the birthday night. I liked the staff, the cleanliness, and the property areas.

We loved the Barcelo Bavaro Beach Adults Only. It was so peaceful and relaxing. Easy to get sun beds by the pool and at the ocean, no waits for staff to get you drinks, no long lines, no screaming kids. It was so close to Bavaro Palace (5 min. walk or 2 min. shuttle) and you are able to use all the facilities there (pool, restaurants, gym, spa, casino….) if you desire. Our 18 and 19 year old enjoyed going there for the nightclub and their age group but my husband and I loved the Adults Only Resort, peaceful, no long lines and fantastic service. The restaurants, specifically La Brisa at night was fabulous food and service. It was nice having the option of 2 resorts in one of you wanted that. All residence buildings are right on the beach which is so beautiful. The sand so soft and the ocean right off of a post-card. One thing we found unreasonable was the price of playing golf at the golf-course. From fees, club rentals, carts, and even purchasing balls, it was quite extreme considering it was an all-inclusive. Big love to Anna G. our pool waitress and Giorgina our cocktail server at the casino. Such lovely, happy people to us.

We love this resort. The food was great and the staff was friendly. We just wish they employe more people who speak fluent English.

Went to celebrate a very special birthday and did not want to leave! Everyone there made us feel so loved and welcomed

We spent 4 nights and 5 days at Barceló Bavaro Beach Adults Only Resort. On our first night before bed I noticed a couple bugs on our bedding. I thought it was just a one off but when I woke up the next morning there were several more around the room and I was disgusted. We had a ground floor suite with a swimming pool off our room. We went to the front desk and we requested a new room but the woman at the desk laughed at us and told us it was because it had rained the night before and that they would send someone to spray. We decided to give it a chance and it seemed to have worked for a couple nights. By the fourth night we continued to see bugs. We didn’t bother telling the staff again because we were leaving in the morning. Overall we didn’t enjoy our stay and wouldn’t recommend anyone stay here as it is not worth the money.

I completely Understand once its summer and hot there is a lot of flies every where but in food?????? I am not sure how you can not mange to keep the buffet covered from flies ???? How much this will cost such a resort to manage this issue ??? Most of dishes were unclean also we complained many times and it seems no one cares ! So sad for such beautiful resort to not care about the most important part of the stay which clean Food !

Very nice hotel, very well kept, only issue is the expedia VIP access,unlike other Barcelo properties, even if they don't have room upgrades available, they at least provide you with premium level bracelet Here there was virtually no benefit to being VIP platinum

Everything was good- staff was lovely…the check in process was smooth, love night entertainment…. Would have loved to have more music around the pool area and more activities

I didn’t like that they don’t have a gym in the hotel.
