The staff was amazing!!! Alberto at Kite, Maria at the lobby bar, Angelo at check in, house keeping and the bell men!!! I really enjoyed my stay at the Westin!!! We were greeted everyday! I felt like family! I’m already planning a trip back! Thank you Westin for the AWESOME hospitality!!!

The property was peacefully quiet and clean. My only issue was the charge for resort fees, but there was no amenities included to justify the charges. The food selections needed to reflect the culture of the country. Otherwise, property, beach and staff was great.

The place is good, there is not many eatery options, is not all included, better said nothing is included and is a bit pricey. The beach restaurant had very little to choose and quality is not there. The other’s restaurant are to expensive considering that they are not a top place even in the area were most of the resort have everything included. They are located inside of resort complex but they are not member of anything there is not tours included, the bicycles are falling apart like safety it’s not a requirement. The staff is very friendly. But if you are looking for a quiet place to stay and willing to pay a lot for amenities that are included in all others resort maybe this is your place.

It is the perfect place for family vacation. Though I can't say you ever heard loud kids. There is just a lot for them to do and be happy about. As for parents and grandparents it's paradise. I've traveled much of the world. This was the nicest most accommodating staff I've ever encountered. I'll be back for sure

An expensive 3 star hotel. The location is very nice, however is over priced and service is entitled. The resort fee is a rippoff, it is just a tax for the owners. No benefit for that fee. They charge per person, without giving service or goods per person. Just a way to get away with the guest's money.

The trip was amazing. Pool was clean, it is right on the beach and the staff are all friendly. The only bad thing is, on the app it was advertised as an all inclusive and the only thing included was breakfast. Easily spending another $500+ on meals if you stay for more then 2 days.

I usually don’t take the time to write negative reviews but this really warrants it. The service at this so called luxury resort was appalling. Staff were mostly rude (a few nice ones here and there), I’m talking being aggressive asking me why I don’t speak Spanish (wasn’t a joke, asked me on 2 different occasions). Before I could finish my breakfast, they brought the check for me to sign (restaurant wasn’t even busy), food was pretty terrible- room service they charge service charge AND USD5 delivery which seems unwarranted. Worst of all, the room service guy messed up and had to come back later while I was sleeping and was banging at the door like a gangster at 10pm at night. It could’ve waited until the morning, not like I was going anywhere. They also overcharged me for the resort fee, I didn’t realise until I thought it seemed very expensive so double checked. Had to go to reception and ask for a refund- they were hesitant at first and said “oh the resort fee is for the shuttle bus”. The shuttle bus I didn’t even use. Housekeeping took away the bath robe for whatever reason, and there were no slippers. No mugs in the room- just paper cups. Poor amenities. On top of this, before I arrived I emailed twice about a shuttle from the airport, and asked if they could book a restaurant for my birthday, and they didn’t even respond. Stay somewhere else. Staff arrogant and rude and just plain awful.

Great experience and great service

Need to ask for the tooth brush and slipper, but only give us one. We have two people. The AC is so loud, cannot sleep well ….

The only problem is that on the Expedia page shows as inclusive hotel, surprisingly is not and I end up expending more money. When I tried to claim to Expedia wasn’t helpful at all!

We enjoyed our stay at the Westin. It was very peaceful and clean. The views and beaches were lovely. Service was a little slow for dinner and the breakfast buffet was overpriced (but delicious) but I believe it was a standard price for most waterfront resorts. Balconies off of the rooms were lovely and the beds were comfortable. Would recommend for a low key, relaxing stay.

Very nice hotel and beach

If you want a relaxing break, great place. It’s not the party place like the all inclusives. The entire staff were super friendly. We loved being a $10 Uber ride to Punta Cana Village and some great restaurants. Beach was nice. Shade was available at beach and pool. Only downside is just like many resorts, food and drink prices are high. Also, I don’t understand why resorts like this don’t have a small market for drinks, snacks and pizza (like the Westin in Cabo). We decided to go to the market on day two so we had drinks and snacks for the room. Overall, high rating and will likely return.

Beautiful property but it’s isolated from actual culture, and the food at the restaurants was just meh and not very cultural either. I guess that’s resort living though.

I din't like: the loud music around the pool all day at the beach : there are Party ships with many people making party People from a cheap hotel coming to use the chairs at the beach

I stayed at the Westin for 4/3 with my boyfriend, and it was such a peaceful experience. We went to one of the area restaurant, La Yoya, which has an amazing view, and the food was great! We also had breakfast at one of the restaurants on the property, and lunch at Arena bar. The lunch was sooooo good! We had the jerk chicken wings, oxtail pasta, and Caribbean red snapper. Everything was amazing! Our room was cleaned everyday, and we had no issues, except the hot water wasn’t hot enough for me. Overall, the staff was so helpful, the property is beautiful, and the beach was to die for. I will definitely be back.

People are great

Westin never disappoints, we booked at another property non refundable because it look good only to find a hard bed and terrible food. At the Westin we experienced a heavenly stay, comfortable bed, AC, wifi in room and great staff! Also we thought being close to the airport would be an issue but you’re farther than it looks and it’s very enjoyable.

I liked how remote and quiet it is. Everyone was nice and friendly. One thing that I did not like was they would not allow uber pickup from the resort. We had to order a taxi and it was ridiculous rates even to go out of the resort. Very inconvenient.

Absolutely beautiful, clean and friendly staff.

I've never been so disappointed in a stay in my life. To start off, we had cash and jewelry stolen out of our room. We had been utilizing the safe, but as it is small we had prioritized putting laptops and passports in and we were all wearing our jewelry. I came into the room before going out to swim and quickly took off my gold earrings and put them in a pocket deep in my backpack, where I also had some cash hiding for quick access when tipping people at your resort. When my roommates and I came back to the room we noticed all our stuff had been gone through and we all were missing cash. We understand that the hotel can not necessarily replace the cash but we would've appreciated at least feeling validated in our concerns and fears in having your staff steal our stuff. Instead, we felt mocked and that it was one giant joke. A really disappointing experience.
