Property is very nice and clean. There seems to be no AC in the room so we opened windows as it was too hot. That was a mistake,- mosquitoes got in right away even in early March. The front desk person didn’t have the repellent. But once we mentioned mosquitos to the person who was bringing breakfast, Rafael( might misspelled the name), he said, “just give me a minute” and he was right back with the repellent. He was just exceptional. Always smiling, supper helpful, and also got us a little gift, which was beyond sweet. Overall place is nice. It’s one block away from St. Marcos basilica so the crowed was there all the time, even at night and we were there off season.

We had the junior suite with canal view and it was gorgeous! We actually spent extra time in the room because it was so nice. We loved opening the big window doors to the balcony and people watching with the gondola stop just below. And we could also open up all the windows and smell the sea and it was like you were half outside. And the in room breakfast was so lovely and fancy. All in all a wonderful stay.

We loved the big rooms with high ceilings and beautiful chandelier. Wonderful view out the windows and cute little balcony.

We came her for our minimoon and stayed in the Gritti Suite. The room is absolutely beautiful and the staff were absolutely fantastic. We would definitely recommend this hotel and when we come back to Venice we will definitely come back to this hotel. The location is fantastic and St Marks Square is less than a 5 minute walk away. Room service for breakfast each morning was amazing. The table was laid and we sat eating breakfast in our robes and slippers. We got our water taxi straight to the side door of the hotel which was an amazing experience. Thank you everyone for making our stay so enjoyable.

We had fantastic stay, the hotel was in a great location right beside the St. Marcs place as central as it gets.

Great location just far enough off St Mark’s to be out of bad crowds. Interior of room was amazing.

Walkable place, easy to get to. The shower was broken with one the handle spout working, the bed hurt to lay on and loud throughout the night.

The staff was super friendly and the breakfast was fantastic especially with the beautiful view of the Ponte dei sospiri. The only issue we had with the room was the sink leaking, the shower leaking and the mildew around the bathroom window and the tub. Other then that it was ok. The food for the breakfast was really good...actually great and it made our stay acceptable.

Location is amazing to get around. There are better more non-touristy areas of Venice but this is in the best location to start your exploring. Noisy in the morning but the canals are not just for visitors and you do have to remember that when deliveries are being chucked of a boat at 7am. Hotel itself is a good 3 star but great staff - shower was tight and a mystery

We very much liked our room and the view was wonderful. The staff was very friendly and helpful. My only complaint was that the pillows on bed were old, hard and pretty uncomfortable. Please replace for future guests!

Amazing with a nice view and absolutely great location. we Had the handicap unit which is understandable because we were only there one night but it made the bathroom experience difficult. There was no place to put shampoo or soap in the shower at all. Overall we like the place and the location is great with water taxi being able to go right to the door. People at the hotel were very nice and accommodating.

Fantastic View of the Bridge of Sighs (request Canal View). We had a Junior Suite which was wonderful, with a fridge and a huge bathroom. The staff was delightful and the location superb. There are only 13 rooms so they do not have a breakfast buffet, but instead you fill out a breakfast card and they deliver it to your room and set it all up. The only negative we had was the A/C was not great, and not surprising as it is an older building. Venice never sleeps so leaving the windows open at night was, well, interesting. Would definitely stay again.

This was the most wonderful hotel, and we can’t rate it highly enough. From the moment of arrival to leaving, the experience this hotel offers is special. Fantastic location, makes seeing Venice very easy. The room we had was amazing!(152) Gorgeous chandeliers, high beamed ceilings, and a large comfortable bed. We loved it, and would happily have stayed longer, and would return in a heartbeat. We are missing Rafaelle bringing our breakfast to our room already! If you get the chance, then book this hotel!

The staff were nice enough. The room was large and in a great location, however the bathroom shower leaked through the floorboards into the bedroom and the hall, and there were bedbugs, most likely on the old drapery at the head of the bed. Both myself and my spouse left with horrid bites all over our bodies, but especially on our faces. The staff claimed that they had never heard a complaint about something like this before, but I'm not so sure about that.

Decor was great and breakfast in the room every day was a novel perk. Location is superb. No iron was an issue.

Not enough nice words to describe how wonderful our experience was. Outstanding customer service, multilingual and friendly staff. Beautiful room with an even more beautiful view of interior canal and alley. Personalized breakfast served in the room at chosen time. The hotel is perfectly located withing few minutes of San Mark Square, Bridge of Sights (visible from our room) and Rialto Bridge. Very charming and romantic place with a classic Venetian decor. We had the best experience at this hotel.
