This is a comfortable place to stay. Just a few minutes walk from the pier and places to eat.

We love this spot because of walking distance to the beach, affordable cost and cleanliness. Nothing fancy, but a good spot to rest one’s head after a beach day. Sadly, this time our room had an aunt infestation. Plus, they stuck us in an ADA room where the water from the shower gets everywhere. We will stay again but will be careful what room we let them give us.

Great location walking distance to the beach. Staff was friendly when I arrived and check in was super easy. The bathroom had a towel with a hole in it left on the side of the tub. There was a wad of hair on it. An oversight from cleaning, but a bit gross. The bed was very uncomfortable.

A great comfortable Motel in a great location. Our room was large and separate from the other king bed room. Perfect for our family of 3.

Great hotel. The room is spacious and clean.

The check-in was a little crazy. There were stacks of paper on the counter. The parking lot is very small and crowded. Both nights I left and when I came back there was only one parking space in the lot. The ceiling had been patched and I was definitely not a professional job. There were large cracks and the tape was showing through. The bathtub had been caulked by someone who didn't know what they were doing. In fact, it looked like they just caulked over the old black caulking. And there were chunks on the tile walls. The drain in the shower was broken and I had to be careful not to cut my phone on it.

Very nice but the facility is old. The cracked tiles on the bathroom floor and slow draining sink are examples of an older facility that is in need of some improvement. Overall I had a pleasant stay, and I will continue to stay at this facility the next time I am in town.

Great location close to everything. Very noisy, road noise very thin walls, outside door with noseal. You can hear every person walk by like they're in your room Tub and shower probably orobably from the 1970s staind and corroding. Housekeeping didn't clean our after first night.some off the coffee pods were taken from McDonald's. And way overpriced. Also pet are is just a bunch ofdirt and weeds. But front desk employees were very nice.

We got there late and the guy at front desk was so helpful and nice. The room was clean, beds were comfy, and even with dogs staying around us, it was very quiet! This is the second time we’ve stayed there, and we liked it last time too.

Extremely convenient! Dog rest area is very rough, some neighborhood decline, just kind of weird on the away-from-the-beach directions. BUT - the BEST spot for the IM race, and a wonderful staff.

Always stay here when in Santa Cruz!

The staff Nicole & Maguire were excellent. Friendly & helpful. Clean pool & hot tub. The room I stayed in on the second floor could use some updating. Bed & tv were great.

Would be nice to have food on site

Santa Cruz as a whole was a huge disappointment. So many homeless and drug addicts walking around. The motel itself was ok but did not feel safe in the area. There was damage to the room ceiling and one of the walls we reported to the front desk. Motel was in decent shape and if was for the area I would go again.

A couple of small problems we did not even address except to let the staff know as we were leaving. Only spent one night on this visit as it was a quick in and out of the area.

The Ocean Pacific Lodge was clean, professional, and had friendly front desk staff. The neighborhood is touristy and gets a bit shady at night, but that’s true of anywhere near the boardwalk. I felt safe and comfortable on the property and parking was easy. It had everything I was looking for in a place to stay. I had a good experience and would recommend this place to others.

We chose this hotel for the closeness to the boardwalk and free parking. Parking is a pain. Tight spaces make it quite difficult to get in and out of. The clerk at the front desk was friendly and helpful. They provide you with ear plugs a sleepy time tea.. that’s because the hotel has lots of loud noises, idk what it was exactly but constant banging and rubbing against walls. No hot water? If you get up early be prepared to wait an hour for hot water. I had to run the shower multiple times over a period of an hour to get hot water to shower. Then at night there was hardly any water pressure. Mold in the shower and gross brown marks on bathroom wall. No shampoo or conditioner, so make sure to pack your own. Pool was ok, they did have an ample amount of towels. The spa was smelly and had black stuff floating in it. Next time I’ll go with the more expensive hotel for cleanliness alone.
