We had the pleasure of staying at TRS Turquesa Hotel for our anniversary, and one of the highlights of our trip was the outstanding service provided by our butler, Randy. From the moment we arrived, Randy went above and beyond to make our celebration truly special.

Trip was amazing, food and stay was great. Rodny was an amazing butler who went up and beyond with helping us. Melky also helped us getting us anything we needed for the room and was great and friendly.

The rooms were nice but the air wouldn't get to the beds unfortunately, so sleeping the firsttwo nights were rough, but our butler fixed that by bringing us a fan and that litterally saved our trips!
The food was okay, nothing amazing despite having more restaurants than any other resort we've stayed at.
The views were nice though, we easily reached 15k steps every day because we would love to just take walks despite not walking much back home, the views were breathtaking.
It also felt like the staff was really reliant on tips even though when you book a package it clearly says tips included, so i did feel pretty uncomfortable with the stares as i didn't bring much considering the trip was expensive like 3k expensive.
They did have carts available to take you around though if you'd rather not walk in their beautiful community.
The minifridge was not restocked daily, i had to ASK our butler on the 3rd day about that and they restocked it for us.
The amenities in the bathroom were not restocked at all.
All in all, it was a decent 1st time experience to enjoy the views, but not amazing resort experience unfortunately.

1) Cleaness: Ants were found all over inside the room, over the furniture, beds, sink. I used my own bug spray to kill it. I complained two times regarding the ants in the room, but no one reply back or resolve the issue.
2) Food: When we arrived, most of Ar la Carte restaurant were fully booked. Flies were on the foods in buffet restaurants. Eventually, I got food poisoning.
3) Hotel Tour?: Butler, who named Carlos told us that the hotel will provide a hotel tour next day we arrived. We said "Yes for hotel tour since this resort is huge. It was not a hotel tour. It was a beginning of sales for travel member. This sales man even joined our breakfast. We never expected anything like this in five star resort. They supposed to ask straightly/clearly to the people at first if they are interested in travel member program.
This property is huge combined with four resorts and trees and beach are beautiful and well maintained, but not for food, rooms, services.
I even upgraded room from garden view to Junior Suite and paid extra $160 for 4 nights. I feel that I wasted money for dirty room.

The resort is beautiful and the room was amazing. Our Butler Rodney was amazing and he made sure everything we needed or wanted was provided. We had the swim up and it was private and a true adults only resort. They serve top shelf at the lobby bar, maid service was excellent. We didn’t have to ask for anything really. The food well that needs improvement. We only really enjoyed the Los Torres restaurant and the food there was very good with lots of selections and choices. Staff work very hard here to make sure you have a great vacation. I would definitely come back again!

I had a ball! It was a much needed 5 day weekend that was made extremely enjoyable. Our butler Noris was awesome! She made sure to send us plans for the day and made our dinner reservations. This wasnt my first trip with Noris as our Butler and I hope it is not the last!!

My husband and I just stayed at the Resort. Randy, I butler was exceptional and provided us with the best experience. We loved both of the bartenders Josea, best service weve experienced in all of our years of traveling. We will definitely be back!!!

I had a great stay everyone was nice and very helpful. Property was beautiful and had a lot to offer. Eddy was my main man and always there for me with great suggestions and help. He made sure I enjoyed my stay, enjoyed my birthday and overall just enjoyed the resort. I’m forever grateful for him!

The assigned butler, Noris provided a great experience and made our stay one to remember. Overall, the experience was great but not everything is perfect. Just a few suggestions: try adding Caribbean or Dominican cuisine to the options. Also, consider infusing more culture into the experience. But overall, Noris was awesome!! The experience was great!!

Had a wonderful experience at this resort! From the time we got here until the time we left! Norielis was our buttler and she was absolutely amazing. Friendly, very intune to our every need and very attentive! When we come back we will definitely be asking for her!! I highly recommend this resort, you will not be disappointed!

I’ve been to many resorts in Dominican Republic over the years , but this resort stands out above the others because of service that was provided by Expedia butler Rodney. He made our stay unforgettable and help us worry free vacation. He booked all the restaurant reservations for us on the spot and provided decorations for our room on my birthday. It was pleasant surprise. Every morning he would massage me to see if I need anything and if he can book a restaurant or excursion or any other requests. He gets 5* for his services and might be the only reason I’ll consider staying at TRS again.

Loved this property, all the dining options, and how friendly and helpful the staff is. My favorite part though is that they have golf carts that drive you around which was so beneficial for my 82 year old mom.

Well, this is a mix review. The overall staff, were very friendly and respectful. But the room was not as neat as I expected, since the first day, the floor was full of dust, the lavatory was clogged and expelling some black smelling leaves. The butler service should be optional, since ours, were missing in action since the first day. And the drop that filled the cup, was the aggressive behaviors of Keidy against one of his partner. I've never seeing in my life a person showing that aggressive behaviors in an professional environment in front of a customer. His aggressiveness escalated in seconds, and I though he will be physically with his peer just because his peer offered to help to look for coconut water. He said in presence of everyone that he hate his peer and wanted him to be fired. This for me.is an unacceptable behavior in a customer service area.

I had the worst experience of traveling to a new country ever. Due to profanity i cannot clearly explain what happened but my life was at risk because of how unsafe the area outside the resort was.
One of the restaurant owners (an Italian restaurant beside Las Torres) in the resort was racist and rude to us selectively. He didn't allow us to get inside a Restaurant for wearing shorts saying it's "informal". But we could see others walking by wearing the same thing and even some people inside with literally the same dress. The manager was RUDE. Thankfully we took pictures for proof and complained to the front desk.
The hotel-hired taxi driver tried to scam us by charging way more than the agreed amount (at the front desk) without even mentioning it to us while on the way to SDQ airport. I only noticed it because I could see his phone from the back seat setting up the amount on the card reader. He just stopped in the middle of nowhere and argued for 10-15 minutes. We ended up paying a higher amount for "fake fees" as we were scared for our safety. Never going back to this country ever again. Only go here if you have unlimited money to dispose of and never plan to go outside of the resort.

This is a very clean, beautiful escape of a holiday. We enjoyed our stay! The beach is breathtaking! Randy, our butler, was very friendly and prompt with all responses. He made sure we were comfortable.
The only problems we had were the first room’s temperature did not cool, so we moved to another room the following day, and also we wish they would use lids on top of the buffet areas due to flies/gnats. All-in-all, I would highly recommend for relaxing stay!

Not the greatest 5 star resort. But our butler, Julio, was an absolute gem. Catered to our every need and was super responsive when we needed to cancel or make bookings for restaurants, excursions, taxi rides, etc.
