This place was so romantic. The room had all of the perfect amenities for the beach! From beach chairs, umbrella, and nice cold drinking water...to q-tips, luscious towels, and make up remover pads. Loved the decor! Will definitely return again.

Casual beach town vibe, wished we could've stayed longer

Very attentive management. Its convenient and clean and right near everything. Its maybe a 2 minute walk to the beach.

Wonderful stay at the Surfing Turtle! The room was clean, comfortable and with a beautiful walk in shower. It was so easy to walk to the beach with the complimentary towels and beach chairs, and to go out in the Luquillo nightlife an easy walk away. Though very convenient, it was loud at night, especially being in the room right on the street. Bring earplugs and it's the perfect place!

I like the Hotel, I like the Room. very Clean It has kitchen and Fridge. The Beach is close. I pass a great time there. The only Issue that I fund, it is not parking on place. But you could fin a spot to park

Loved this property! It was so clean and convenient to a places. There were plenty of bars and restaurants near by. The property was IMMACULATE. There were beach chairs, towels, and umbrella for us to use. There is a bar a block down that is open late and very loud. We didn’t mind but just a heads up if you’re looking for something quiet on the weekends. Check in was so simple. Even though there was no assigned parking, we had no issues finding any nearby.

Incredibly convenient check in process and amazing location in walking distance to restaurants, bars, and the beach!

This was about as basic as you can get but that’s all I need for one night. It’s about the size of an average bedroom with a bathroom. It’s also nice to have the beach within a couple blocks. Didnt seem like a beach you can swim in though. The check-in process was very easy which is always welcomed. Although this isn’t their fault but be warned it can get VERY loud with the bars nearby. Music was blasting right outside my room until 11:30pm on a Sunday night. If not for that I’d probably give this place a perfect score. I was bummed not to have a coffee maker in my room but there is a quaint coffee spot directly across the street called Coffee Therapy that’s open from 7am-3pm. The parking situation isn’t ideal either and you’ll probably have to park a block or two over along the plaza. Overall a perfectly adequate place for a one night stay but beware of the noisy neighborhood.

Price was reasonable, located close to beach and El Yunque. Very noisy liquor store/bar on corner. Hard to fall asleep because of noise. Bed was comfortable, shower had hot water

Fine, clean room if a little stare. The blue or red stripes painting on the walls make things starker. Our room (#1) has a very comfortable kingsized bed. Two blocks from the surfing beach & then 2.5 mile walk along secluded beaches to the Luquillo food kiosks). Corner near the motel has some nice things during the day can get gritty at night (beer store nearby). Nearby on-street parking can be hard to find.

We got to Luquillo early, Yaya and her daughter set us up w early room, ride w another guest to Fajardo for crazy El Yunque hike and water slide, plunge and rope swing. Very small friendly hotel w maybe 5 rooms plus one hostel room.

Service was great. They were super helpful during check-in (had to clal, there is no desk) a town-wide black-out and late check-out. Room was big and 99% clean (some dust in places, but nothing to keep me from coming back) 5 stars, probably the best option in Luquillo given the location (by town center and the beach), price and condition of the place.

The place itself is fine, we had a nice clean room with comfortable bed and good air conditioning and WiFi. Rooftop space is an added bonus as is the outdoor shower to rinse off the beach. It is a short walking distance to La Pared beach. Unfortunately it was VERY noisy even with earplugs and the neighborhood is marginal.
