Was very nice till 7am.
Walls are thin, and doors are too short.
Light and noise woke me up early.

The clock was several hours fast. I didn’t care but then the alarm was set on it to go off at 6 am, so at 4:15 am the alarm started going off, I thought I shut it off once but it went off again 2 minutes later. It was not possible to unplug it and I had to turn the light on to stop it. We were both well awake at that point and it was difficult to go back to sleep. So it was a poor night’s rest. Whoever prepares the room should check these things. I mentioned it when checking out. I would expect some kind of discount but I have not heard anything.

Staff was great and welcoming. Location was perfect. A short walk to the Wharf and Santa Cruz Boardwalk. Plenty of free parking.

Waited nearly 20 minutes for water in shower to get hot..never happened. Called the front desk...no answer..Very Noisy. When I turned the rooms heater on it smelled like someone had urinated into the heater. Wouldn't recommend.

Lovely small motel close to the beach and bars and in walkable distance to everything.
Reception team are great and friendly. Room is a little dated but clean and with everything you need for a few nights away

We love this spot because of walking distance to the beach, affordable cost and cleanliness. Nothing fancy, but a good spot to rest one’s head after a beach day. Great location walking distance to the beach.
Staff was friendly when I arrived and check in was super easy.
The bathroom had a towel with a hole in it left on the side of the tub. There was a wad of hair on it. An oversight from cleaning, but a bit gross.
The bed was very uncomfortable.

Fantastic, convenient, and easy. Super lovely and helpful staff. Will stay again! Super convenient to so much Santa Cruz has to offer. 5 mins to the dog beach, great pool and they allow dogs.

A great comfortable Motel in a great location. Our room was large and separate from the other king bed room. Perfect for our family of 3.

The check-in was a little crazy. There were stacks of paper on the counter. The parking lot is very small and crowded. Both nights I left and when I came back there was only one parking space in the lot. The ceiling had been patched and I was definitely not a professional job. There were large cracks and the tape was showing through. The bathtub had been caulked by someone who didn't know what they were doing. In fact, it looked like they just caulked over the old black caulking. And there were chunks on the tile walls. The drain in the shower was broken and I had to be careful not to cut my phone on it.

Very nice but the facility is old. The cracked tiles on the bathroom floor and slow draining sink are examples of an older facility that is in need of some improvement. Overall I had a pleasant stay, and I will continue to stay at this facility the next time I am in town.

We got there late and the guy at front desk was so helpful and nice. The room was clean, beds were comfy, and even with dogs staying around us, it was very quiet! This is the second time we’ve stayed there, and we liked it last time too.

Extremely convenient!
Dog rest area is very rough, some neighborhood decline, just kind of weird on the away-from-the-beach directions. BUT - the BEST spot for the IM race, and a wonderful staff.
