The staff went above and beyond to help us when we got to town early and needed a place to put our bags before check-in. They called us as soon as our room was ready (early!). Amazing location to view the public beach and wharf. Very walkable and amazing (new) shower. Pool was warm, and the whole hotel has a great retro feel. The only thing to consider is they don’t seem to have an elevator and there are several outdoor steps to reach your room. May be difficult for some guests. Overall, we loved our stay and would definitely go back!!

Amazing location, boutiquie hotel with super nice staff, and clean rooms. We only stayed one night, which was not enough time to enjoy the property and the balcony and the beach and the boardwalk and all that Santa Cruz has to offer. Our room had a little kitchen area, too. My only complaint was that our conditioner dispenser in the shower was out. I would have just asked to have it refilled, but I was already in the shower washing my hair. All in all an awesome property, excellent staff, and everything needed for an ultimate beach experience. Great location felt so safe Jessica and Gm Nicole were awesome. I enjoyed the coffee and the hot chocolate. Room was very clean! Cleaning crew was attentive and fast and did an awesome job. I LOVED THE HEATER IN THE BATHROOM FAN!!! Nice touch forsure. I do wish we had a garbage can in the room. And I wish we had better quality toilet paper and some paper towels!!! We will be back!!!! Can’t wait!!!!!!

Good property in perfect location

My check in was very late but the gal at the front desk welcomed me and didn't give me a hard time. Seems like a family run business. I like a quiet place when I travel without my dogs and kids and this place was perfect. The man in the room next to mine played guitar but was really respectful. Met some cool people and saw Art everywhere. Would stay here again.

Unfortunately the facilities were run down in many areas. Our back French doors on the room wouldn’t lock so they had been secured with a bike lock. The shower nozzle bar was hanging off the shower wall and ultimately fell off during our stay, the pull down bed was secured with zip ties. No housekeeping services the two nights we stayed. Very disappointing given the price and facilities that were advertised

Great location - very relaxed unpretentious place to stay and the reception staff were great making drinks etc. very handy to have complimentary laundry (top loader and drier) to keep on top of washing beach gear etc

We had booked the beach house for a night. It was expensive but definitely worth it to us. We will book it again next year. The location is very convenient. Close to the beach and the board Walk. We spent the first half of the day at the arcade and beach then check in for the room then last half riding the rides. The room was large enough for a family of five while giving the parents some privacy and the kids their space. The showers are amazing.Loved this place.

I did like that it was across from the beach. The food choices were not very good given the prices and given the hotel price, it is unlikely that we would repeat this experience, at least not during the most expensive season.
