A nice old hotel in the middle of the city. The personal was very nice and helped us with our bags. The room was comfortable

Quite a comfortable room and bed. Stairs to the room are a testiment to the age of the building. Watching the activity on the canal was a show in itself as the gondolieri expertly navigate the intersecting waterways. Room was excellent for location to so many good places for coffee and food.

Was pleasantly surprised with the hotel. It's next to a canal (of course) and bridge, and around the corner from a large square with some restaurants. Just away from the very busy touristy streets.
Our room was large with a good size bathroom. Plenty of space to store our bags and clothes.
Staff were friendly and helpful.

The location is wonderful, although a little hard to find at first. There are so many restaurants and shopping in the heart of Venice. The staff was very nice and even stored our luggage after check out. I would highly recommend this property since it was a reasonable price.

Just a little disappointed in the room that we only stayed one of the 3 nights we booked. The A/C was the #1 issue as it did not cool down the room sufficiently. We were sticky from the humidity and heat by morning. We brought it up to the front desk...she came upstairs, fiddled with the thermosat, and made us feel like we were crazy. She said what's wrong with it; as if we were imagining the heat in the room. The room itself was just ok. You get what you pay for.

I think the pictures embelished a wee bit. The extra 50 euros on the canal was not worth it.
The mattress wasnt comfy. The room seemed worn.

This property is located centrally but is not well run. There are no staff snd they charged us €20 for checking in 20 mins after 8pm ridiculous. The stairs are dirty and slippery. The rooms small and beds hard. TV did not work. Shower was smaller than a boat shower so you could not bend at all. The internet stopped working and no one around to ask what was happening. Overall a dive in a great location.

There air conditioning does not work very well. Very HOT! Basic rooms. No amenities. Scratchy sheets. No elevator. Cute decor. View on small canal. Quiet. Close to lots of good restaurants

Hotel is in the center of everything. Room is decent butgetting arpund was easy. It about 5 to 10bmin walk to the major sites

There is no sign on the door. I was walking around in circles for 3 hours until I walked in. When I asked why there are no signs, the Assistant said it costs money to put a sign up...(?). The Shower space is very limited. If you weight more than 130 lbs, you won't fit in there. Other than that, all else was superb.

Most hotels in the Venice area are dated. It’s important to note this hotel has no elevator however it’s only 2 levels. Located Right by the canal and within 5-10 walling minutes of all the major sites. Close to Rialto Bridge, 6 min, which is a major stop on the ferry. Rooms have AC and are a decent size. No staff in the evening or overnight. You will be given a physical key to your room which you can’t lose since there is no overnight staff to let you in if you return late.

This is definitely a no-frills room, at least ours was. But we did not get lost every time we went out and it was a quiet street. Also, staff was great at giving directions with a map and letting us leave our luggage. They could not have been nicer.

Perfect location. Maria on the desk gave lovely customer service. Was very helpful and knowledgeable.
Both rooms were perfect. Had canal view on both .
Will be definitely staying again . Very reasonable price for Venice . Thankyou

Great property, beautiful view, great location, clean, very welcoming, breakfast was great and the price was really good. Very happy with our stay.
Only complaint was we had to pay to lock our bags for a few hours. 10€/ locker.

It's more of a house with rooms than a hotel as there are very limited facilities outside of the rooms (i.e. none).
Certainly not suitable for anyone with physical disabilities as the stairs are steep (no lift).
Location is near to lots of dining and shopping so great and only 4-5 minutes to the Rialto and St Marks.
