The hotel is dirty and very expensive for what you get.

We unfortunately had to evacuate our condo due to to Hurricaine Milton.
We are so glad we chose Double tree by Hilton.
The staff were excellent and were kind & helpful.
We had a wonderful stay' and would highly recommend the hotel to our family & friends.
The only negative comment was due to inconsiderate hotel guests allowing their dogs to use the hotel grounds as a restroom. The visual and smell of it was terrible in the heat. 🫤

The hotel is conveniently placed 3 minutes away from seaworld. The rooms were clean & spacious. I liked that they had a Starbucks as well.
Every double tree I’ve stayed at I’ve gotten complimentary breakfast. Especially for the price of the hotel. This one only had a continental breakfast that included bagel or muffin, fruit, & juice or coffee. I didn’t even waste my time going to get it. Parking is absolutely terrible. Good luck trying to find a close one. & if you’re in the main tower, it’s even worse. Be prepared to go on a long walk with your luggage. Please Check out early if possible! Walked out of our room at 10:22. Check out is at 11:00. Literally waited 26 minutes for an elevator. Every one that stopped on our floor was full. Ended up taking the stairs on the opposite side of the building from our car, luggage in hand. Made it to check out at 11:06. Extremely frustrating. Especially with a 5 year old. If you can book somewhere else, please do.

Maid service, there wasn’t a do not disturb sign in the room so the maid service came while we were trying to hangout in the room

I liked the pool although the bartenders were not very friendly.
After initially being given the wrong room number and then having to wait 20+ minutes in the heat before we were told the wrong room # was provided and written down we get into our room and our toilet doesn’t work. We asked for it to be repaired, no one came to repair it. Our phone doesn’t work properly and the air conditioner doesn’t allow you to change the temperature, the kids were freezing all night. We have had great experiences with double tree in the past and thought this would be no different but I would never stay here again and will certainly not be recommending it to anyone else.
You also cannot even turn on the shower without getting your clothes drenched.

Service at the front desk was amazing! The hotel smells great and the cookies were a hit! My girls and I loved the room. I think it was the Junior Suite or something. It was comfortable and spacious. The bed slept amazing! The temperature in the room was nice. The views were great. We liked the pool. We liked the security of the parking lot behind the gate. I liked that the hold placed on my card was released in a timely manner.
We didn't like the walk from the parking lot to the tower. We didn't like the service at breakfast. I think there was a language barrier. I didn't like not knowing I'd be charged for parking. Room service was pricy, but the food was ok.

Not sure there was anything that I liked. Room was as expected. Location was what sold it, next to Seaworld. Breakfast was good. Obviously others liked it as well, no room in the only spa. You can choose "busy" end or "calm: end.
It was meh. Not plus nor minus. 30 for parking. A trend I really don't like - "hidden fee" Make sure you get your breakfast voucher, otherwise $42 for a "slightly" above buffet?? Hmm make your own conclusion.

photos show tower and inside rooms. placed in a run down room exterior facing door like a highway motel. exterior was extremely run down. Laundry /maintenance area close by and messy to look at.

The location and amenities were good even though I didn’t use it.
I reserved in the main building and I was giving the outside rooms. Then when I arrived around 11pm I couldn’t find any parking near our room. The closest was all the way on the other side and I was with a child that was asleep and it was impossible to walk all that in the dark. I had to switch rooms and move all my stuff and park closer to my room.
