The home itself inside was beautiful and clean. Exhaust fans could use some maintenance and backdoor screen repaired. The location to town was great and the stream beautiful, it helped block out the interstate noise right on the other side.
The deck and lawn furniture were filthy, property manager said they would send someone to clean them but it didn’t help, if it even occurred.
Our biggest complaint, the property should have disclosed there was construction work going on starting right beside our front door and continuing on to the whole street. Construction workers were polite but with the road noise and construction noise it wasn’t the serene mountain retreat we were hoping to experience. (Pictures can be provided)

Perfect location very close to Vail which was the purpose of the trip.

The place was so cute and in a great location. The pictures do not do it justice!! If I had to say anything negative it would be the beds weren’t the best but not horrible. Overall a great little place!

This was an ideal off village condo for my family of 5 (3 kids incl. teens) right on bus route. I would definitely rent again in winter or summer.
The unit was clean, nicely appointed, roomy for our family of 5 so all the kids got their own beds, pretty views since its right off Gore Creek, and easy access to the village via car or bus. The bus stop is literally out the door, so if you are savvy with public transport, this is perfect for you.
5 Star Rating!

The location and cleanliness were excellent.

We really enjoyed being here. Views of creek are so nice. Lots of room to spread out and be with family. Plenty of space for family of 5. Great laundry room for storage etc especially if there to ski. The vail bus is right outside front door which was amazing. The only things we found lacking was the cheap toilet paper, one shower leaked, upstairs tub stopper is broken and took forever to drain, same with kitchen sink. I’m sure all will be fixed. Our kids were upset there was only 1 TV but I think it was great to take a break from that. We loved playing games around the big table. Kids were also afraid to sleep in the loft because of the steep ladder but plenty of beds anyway. Great closets. We loved our stay and would definitely stay again!

The house itself is great- the pictures don’t do it much justice, felt much more inviting in person. Would love to come back, however the sink disposal was broken and the freezer had a leaking issue upon arrival. Disposal had leftover food and water from the previous guests so I assume the cleaning crew either missed it or just failed to mention it. I tried to call and have someone come fix the disposal on day 1 of three and was told someone would be there today and give me a call. Neither happened- so I called when we returned home later in the day and was basically given a runaround answer from
vacasa that they were busy and would escalate the issue and be there the next day. Fine- I waited for a call all of day 2 and never got one. No further contact from anyone, nobody stopped in to try and fix the issue, the sink was starting to smell with the lack of maintenance. I gave up at that point- nothing was worth mentioning or calling about because they don’t have the staffing to help out. Would have been nice to have some warning at the very least… would love to come back but was a headache trying to work with Vacasa.

Very cozy stay! Located next to Gore Creek with easy access to the bus stop, frontage road. The interior is as described. Perfect place for our family. Enjoyed by all. We had an issue with sink and the management helped resolve it to our satisfaction.

This was such a perfect place to stay. The pictures are beautiful, but don't do it justice. The owners have made it so cozy with the decor and it adds so much character.
Pros:
- perfect amount of space for a family of 5-6 people.
- beautiful view of the creek
- great location next to bus stop, gas station, grocery, and 5 minutes to the village
- very clean! Nice towels and bedding
- great communication with rental company
I would certainly stay here again!
Cons:
- This wasn't a problem for us, but there isn't a master bath in the main bedroom. If you're traveling as a group, or prefer your own separate bath this might be problematic for you.
Overall, this was one of our favorite rentals we have stayed at! We would definitely book again!

Beautifully decorated, comfortable and well maintained home. Loved the creek in the backyard. Close to waking paths, parks and a short drive to Vail Village.

Took a short trip to Vail to get out of the summer heat in Denver. Great location, with access to Gore Creek and nearby hiking trails. Clean, with nice furnishings. Would stay there again!

It was clean and updated. Sheets were a bit worn and rough and kitchen with some limited utensils and no laundry detergent (had to buy some at local store; usually some is included at properties). No one told us the hot tub was across the parking lot in a building next to the garbage bin. Found out on our last day. Overall, smaller than I expected but, otherwise, as advertised.

We had a pleasant family ski vacation staying in this condo. The kitchen was fully stocked, so make sure you look through the cabinets before heading to the grocery store, as they had some seasoning and coffee filters etc available. The mud room right off the entrance was wonderful! So nice to have a place to immediately remove possibly wet ski gear, with laundry right there too. The downstairs living space is open and comfy, and the view of the creek is relaxing. The beds were comfortable, although we did not need to use the pullout couch or the bed in the loft, so I can’t attest to them.
Our only complaint is that we enjoy soaking in a hot tub when getting off the slopes and we did not have access to the hot tub. We called the property manager multiple times and although they were nice, we didn’t have an honest response until half way through our stay, which apparently the prior renter accidentally took the hot tub keys and they would not be able to get another one during our stay. They did refund us a small amount of money, and although we loved the actual condo, we would not have stayed there without access to a hot tub. I understand they have no control over the prior renter taking the keys but they should have a backup key available, as I’m sure this could accidentally happen occasionally.

I can't say enough good things about this townhome! The layout is great and the interior decor is adorable. I slept in the master room with the king bed and it was super comfortable. There is a bus stop very close to the unit, but you're also only about 1 mile away from the village. 15 minute drive to Avon/Beaver Creek. You won't regret booking this lovely home!

Great spot for summer or winter! The condo is right off the interstate, right next to the creek, but still quiet and cozy! 30 second walk to the bus stop which is perfect. Couldn't ask for anything more, thanks again!

2nd stay in Ptarmigan
We booked this condo a second time after visiting in 2017. Nicely updated spot with great river views. If you know how to navigate the bus route you’ll save yourself time and money to utilize it for the Village or Lionshead. Overall a great rental for the price.

Relaxing by the Creek
The place was spacious for our family of three with areas for each of us to relax. We enjoyed being just steps from Gore Creek.

Mountain music.
The best part of this place by far is the location right on the Gore. Falling asleep both nights was like having a story read to me when I was a child, only it was Mother Nature. The sound of water is something I miss! I recommend this home to anyone looking for relaxation. It was also so nicely decorated! Felt like home. Thanks again!

Comfortable Winter ski weekend
Very comfortable spot... road noise exists, but being by the river is a bonus. The guest room actually has less road noise... well appointed... comfortable beds.
