Small and cozy

Comfortable bed, heating and air con worked well, nice and clean.

The shower was annoying as it soaked the bathroom when using due to it being such a small space, was fine once dried with a towel!

Modern, new and in good working order

It was the smallest double room I have ever seen. Not even enough space for a double bed. The bathroom is a toilet with a shower head on the top. It was an example of making the smallest space into a double room.

Clean, tidy and cool app. Facilities could be better.

I liked the online app to control lights etc.. that was really cool. The bathroom and overall cleanliness of the room was good. I upgraded to the apartment and was happy with the standard.

Upgraded to an apartment to have some additional things to make my stay more comfortable. I was travelling for work and unfortunately there was no iron. I feel for £260 a night there should at least be an ironing board and iron in an “apartment”

Adequate for a night or two, too annoying to do for more than two days

The location is great.

I'd prefer just a key card for the room. The "smart" feature of using my phone to call the lift, enter my room, switch on lights and AC was frustrating, it takes a lot of refreshing to get it to work. The wifi dropped out a few times too which didn't help matters. The bedside table panels were chipped and it looks quite worn. I don't like that the hotel contacted me on WhatsApp rather than just via email, and there was no way for me to opt out. I understand this is a personal preference that my WhatsApp is kept for my social life only, but I should be able to opt out. I received 4 texts and more emails than that, the information could be a little more concise. The lift suggests to get to reception you should hit the floor zero button that is surrounded by green plastic to stand out. But actually you need to hit G/-1 which seems like an odd design and a bit confusing (could just be me being an idiot though!)

Staff made a difference. Location was excellent and safe for solo traveller.

Proximity to Birmingham Arena. REALLY friendly staff. Excellent coffee machine in reception. Water in the room.

Great place in the centre for a short stay

Bed was amazing, location was too (which we knew in advance) the contactless everything worked great but there was a 24/7 desk if needed - only spoke to them to check out and they were very friendly

Almost nothing - I couldn't find a Lightswitch in the bathroom and the room was a bit smaller than I expected but I knew it was going to be cosy from the pics and I'm pretty big.

Ended up coming home...

Property was ok!

The walls however are paper thin you can hear EVERYTHING and the rooms even in typical British weather were HOT! Yes they have A/C but the room we had it was questionable on when it was and wasn't working.

very relaxing , quirky and thoroughly enjoyable overnight stay

everything was very quick , easy and convenient

very little space , but it was what we expected . very strange not having tea or coffee in the room , but space didn't really allow it

A few hiccups but a overall an alright stay.

The staff were very friendly and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. Parking was easy enough with a car park to the rear of the property (this is not owned by the hotel though so there is a parking fee) , the hotel check in was easy with it being remote . The hotel was quiet despite its central location.

when we arrived the room I booked was not available, I was informed that the room I was given was an upgrade despite the room being significantly smaller than the room I booked, but I must admit that the receptionist was very accommodating and took the time to show us the rooms and gave us the choice of the two, so this is not a complaint at all just would be nice to have this info before arriving, they also threw in some complimentary beers and snacks which was appreciated . Bathroom was a little claustrophobic and the sink wasn't letting water down the plug on closer inspection the plug hole was stuffed full of hair which was revolting! The room was quite dusty too but bed linen and pillows towels were clean . Kitchen facilities were basic but to be honest I am not sure who would be booking into a hotel like this to self cater? The rooms are too small to be knocking up a feast, if you want to self cater proper air B&B it; unless you are not fussy in that case it may be suitable to prepare ready meals with the microwave.

ideal for one night stay for 2 people

great space, tidy, lovely fashionable buildind, friednly staff and all operated through an access link. tv's with access to netflix

room was much smaller than anticipated and the bathroom was a wet room so get very wet. also not enough storage.

Great stay, inventive format and all around quality

The hotel is very well decorated and clean! The control system via your phone is convenient as it removes the need for the card for an item we always carry with us these days!

Only complaint is the metal dish like objects covered the air conditioning vents would rattle as they were loose!

A good value, no frills hotel.

Convenient, clean, functional

Nothing to dislike, but the overhead shower suddenly started to drip as I was going to bed - I hadn’t used it so don’t know why. I almost slipped on the wet floor when I got up to use the toilet. The drip was noisy so I had to shut the bathroom door (I wanted to keep it open). Bit irritating but not a major issue.
