Nothing!

The restaurant was great… delicious food!! Great price for the room! I enjoyed the yoga and Pilates classes- the teachers were amazing! The pool was great!

Great location. Staff was exceptional.
4.0
Staff very nice. Food was delicious in the restuarant. We ate dinner & breakfast there. Our rooms were nice, but far apart. Pool was nice to relax by, there are outdoor showers to rinse off at when coming back from the beach, that was nice too.
on line booking needs to state a little clearer that the villas are located down the street, 5 minute walk away. With a locked gate, so when my parents walked down from the hotel to visit they could not get in with their hotel key, to visit my family in the hotel villas, unless you met them at the gate.
However at check in we were told that the villas were a walk a away. I just wish I knew that at booking time.

beautiful out door area and nice location to the beach. staff was very helpful.
Room was small. bathroom fixtures not very secure. not a lot of restaurants to choose from in the area

Nice place. The hotel is pretty, was clean and located 2‘ walk to the beach at Playa Grande. Pool was great for the kids.
4.5
Location was ideal. Friendly staff. Clean rooms. Very good restaurant.
One minor issue: Bathroom door didn’t latch/stay closed in one of the rooms.

We stayed in the Villas, short walk from restaurants and from the beach. 5 Villas shared a pool, established trees shaded the area. The cafe at the Inn was PHENOMENAL.
Ants in the 2nd story bedroom.

clean and good shadow, hammocks and benches to sit are all around
the big pool has no shadow parking is very small with no guards

located perfect for surfing close to the beach, nice pools, helpful friendly staff, very clean and modern, not too crowded all tough booked out
there’s a restaurant above some of the rather smaller rooms (2-3p) which kind of ruined our stay since there was no sleep for me from 7am to 10pm - so can’t recommend it for light sleepers who like to do a siesta

Our AC quit and they relocated us immediately.

The staff was awesome. The property was peaceful and amazing. You can walk to the beach or to local restaurants. It was truly a pura vida experience.
The distance from lib. Now that I know the layout of the country, i would stay a little closer.

rooms were in the perfect location for us
restaurant way over priced

A fabulous 5 day stay at the RipJack Inn. Great location by the beach, responsive management, fabulous always ready to help staff, a restaurant with a broad spectrum menu at fair prices, most rooms by a swimming pool, and very competitive prices. What more could one want? P.S. We will be recommending the RipJack Inn, and Costa Rica in general to our friends.
No complaints

The happy hour cocktails and food were great, and it's a very short walk to sunset. Breakfast was delicious. Ping pong was fun!

The hotel is great! x2 pools, table tennis, yoga studio and the restaurant were all lovely and staff were all really friendly and helpful. They helped us book surf lessons and gave us lots of good local recommendations. The hotel location is definitely its selling point being right on the beach. We got takeaway cocktails from the bar at happy hour every evening for sunset. We stayed here for three nights at the end of our trip because it was so close to liberia airport, but we will definitely come back to hotel rip jack next time we visit Costa Rica!
We stayed in one of the budget rooms which was quite noisy as it was directly below the restaurant. It didn't bother us too much, but if you want quiet, then i would go for one of the pricier rooms!

We were hoping to see the Leatherback turtles nesting but they have greatly diminished in numbers so they no longer protect the beach during nesting season. Great place if you want to surf, eco tourism better elsewhere.

very good location, just in front of an amazing beach.
WC is too small. The restaurant has nice food and drinks but it is to damn expensive with no discount for hotel guests.

Beautiful room and outside areas. Food at restaurant was very good. Morning server was amazing!
Nighttime bartenders (aside from 1 on our first night) would ignore we were standing there and were very unfriendly.

Location to beach is unbeatable.
The prices in the restaurant. 40 dollars for 2 smoothies and a sandwich.
