The location, the accommodation, the hot tub & the onsite fishing.
Nothing at all to dislike!!

The log cabin was amazing and so spacious, staff was very friendly and nice and relaxing.
Everything was great!
3.5
Dog friendly and the fishing pond close by
Looking tired, bed window screwed shut and some off the other windows you couldn’t shut after opening, fridge and freezer inadequate, doors was damaged and the fridge constantly freezed the food when at the back of the fridge, a big water leak outside the main door make it hard to use having a dog paddling muck in all week,

Lots of private Soave to relax in and out & the hot tub was lovely
It spelled very badly of smokers inside & there was a very noisy hen party a couple of spaces away

The greeting of the staff was amazing. The place was relaxed.
Everything was great. Not sure if there was WiFi tho signal not the best.

The setting is lovely the park itself was clean. The lodge overall was clean and looked good
Communication was rubbish. I rang about some changes and no one got back to me via the app on an email or a phone call. We were advised that the lid was slightly damaged on the lid and they were waiting for a replacement. We used the hot tub once and when we removed the lid it just broke apart. Went to use the washer and there was a mouldy tea towel in it that stank horrendous. Was provided with coffee pods but no coffee machine. The pull out sofa bed was horrendous so ended up sleeping on the floor. Late night parties on the site until early morning.

Very quiet and relaxing loved being situated on the pond
One minor thing .. Just wished there was a pub closer in walking distance
5.0
Spacious clean property
The shower in the en-suite wouldn’t turn down the temp it was stuck and got way to hot, this didn’t bother us as we used the other bathroom, but made them aware after the stay just in case a child was to be going in next.
3.5
Lovely surroundings, clean and modern lodge,
friendly staff, hot tub ready to use on arrival
No WiFi, needs a small on site shop and maybe a
play area
3.5
The lodge was very cold

Absolutely everything
Nothing at all

Great staff, great location nice and quiet, the lodges are very good especially with a hot tub.
Could probably do with a little park area for the kids, a shop and a bar in the future.

We loved the lodge. Our grandchildren particularly liked the bedrooms and said their beds were extremely comfortable. The hot tub was a big plus. Our host, Luke, absolutely made our visit. He helped our grandchildren set up their fishing, had endless patience with them. stayed with them until they caught their first fish (not long) and nothing seemed too much trouble for him. If we ever had any problems, he was always on hand to help. This was our fourth visit and by far the best. The site is being upgraded and we saw a huge difference from last year.

location was good. Hot tub was good. view was good easy to park. easy to find.
Could have some hooks to hang towels etc in the bathroom and a shelf . no where to put wet swimwear or towels when out of the hot tub or even in the bathroom
4.0
Good location, well equipped accommodation
Not a secure decking area so not dog friendly
Mezzanine bedroom up a ladder not suitable for anyone with mobility issues
Very uncomfortable mattresses

Very relaxing ambience
Microwave oven will be great but other wise almost perfect

Very comfy. We enjoyed the hot tub. The TV is a good size. The park is clean. The decking around the lodge is a good size giving good personal space. Having two bathrooms was a good touch, especially with our two teenagers who take an eternity to get ready to go out.
The building site on the park. Perhaps a better fence could be used to obscure the building site. There was nowhere to hang towels, we had them draped over the back of chairs. The lodges are a little too close to each other.

Just got home from a 3 night stay in "Ranch" cabin. Hot tub was beautiful and ready for us on arrival. Travel cot also ready, as requested. Staff (rob) met us and walked us to our cabin with our luggage. Beautiful place to stay. Clean and comfortable. Was between £8.50-12 in a taxi to seafront, as we came by train. Thank you to the staff member who brought us some sugar, as I forgot to order some on out mini shop. Wish we could have stayed longer!
The TV aerial socket was abit loose so when we were waiting for the rain to stop, cbeebies kept cutting off which was abit annoying for the little ones but that's all. And only bedroom tv was in the single room

Easy to get too, lovely view and a nice chill place to stay for a few nights. The hot tub was prepared for when we arrived.
The bed wasn't the best, probably could do with a new mattress think I took a spring or two when we left haha.

The staff were so helpful. I hadn't been to the area before and asked them where I should visit and their recommendations were stunning! I even left something behind and they kindly posted it back to me.
That I had to come home. ; )

Location is perfect and staff were friendly. Check in was smooth and quick
The hot tub control panel didn't work and was stuck to 41.5 degrees, which made it unbearable to sit in. Was advised to put a hose in to cool the water down because nothing else could have been done,
Also, the lodge wasn't cleaned properly when we first arrived, and we found we needed to sweep the floors again on arrival.

location superb park nice and clean
lack of wardrobe space in the property toilet wouldn’t flush properly
3.5
The hot tub is a massive bonus and makes it well worth the money if you like a hot tub.
It has a really homely feel nice and warm, comfy sofa, kitchen has all you need.
The dishes were dirty we had to clean them when we arrived. This should really be checked by staff.
There is no WiFi, and no dvd player so in terms of entertainment you can only watch free view. I understand people don't holiday to watch TV but our toddler has an early bedtime so would have been ideal if we could have curled up on the sofa to watch a movie at the end of a long beach day.

Luxury Barnwell lodge was lovely, very clean, modern and had everything you needed. The hot tub was clean and was already heated for our arrival. This was a getaway for my husbands 30th which I wanted banners/balloons putting out and the host offered to do this for us, which was so kind.
There wasn’t many photos on booking.com or many photos on the internet so we didn’t know what to expect, however we were pleasantly surprised as it was even better than expected. We would definitely recommend family/friends to stay here and we will be booking again soon!!
The beds were uncomfortable

The oven was useless waste of time the cutlery or frying pans wasn't great and the one double bed was very uncomfortable, requires mattress upgrading
