Heron Reach has it all! A gorgeous, quiet setting with privacy and spectacular views. We enjoyed the hot tub and large deck with gas BBQ each evening. The living room and bedrooms were so comfortable and beautifully styled. Every room was impeccably clean and supplied with things to anticipate any needs, such as extra towels, blankets, everything you might need in a kitchen and pantry, plus many other thoughtful extras. The host/owner went above and beyond to provide us with a wonderful experience. We hope to visit again!

This property had so much more than was listed! Such a great welcome basket with goodies! 😊 Fully stocked kitchen spices and utensils. Relaxing matter suite with beautiful view! Sad we didn't get to enjoy the hot tub -- we were so busy visiting the area: Mt Rainier, Seattle, Bainbridge Island, and downtown Gig Harbor Farmer's Market. Couldn't believe the wildlife with the water and mudflats; each has its own beauty!

The house and owners are very nice. They accommodate you very well and are overall great people!. The house itself is very spacious and everyone has their own space. The hot water comes instantly in the shower and it feels very nice and powerful! The hot tub is also amazing and very clean. We would stay at this house again 100%

We love Ron and Sue’s home so much. In the living room, we can see the beautiful water view and those hummingbirds flying around. The bed is very comfortable, the decoration makes it feel like home. The most recommended place.

We live in Gig Harbor but rented this house to celebrate my stepdaughter’s 16th birthday. Her friends had fun paddle boarding and soaking up the sun. The house was clean and had everything we needed. The only mishap was 3 different people got lost trying to locate the house using the Maps app on the iPhone. It worked fine on Google maps but apparently the iPhone map was sending people in another direction. Nothing the owner can control but just something to be aware of. We definitely plan to come back next summer!

Amazing! Can’t wait to return!
The deck, the view, the beach access, the hot tub … we could not have asked for more! This was exactly the weekend getaway we’d hoped for. The owner is kind and accommodating. The home is thoughtfully and comfortably furnished - great beds! Shopping and dining in cute downtown Gig Harbor was fantastic. We can’t wait to come back!

Nice house
Nice relaxing trip- gave 4 stars to accuracy of online listing as I had to call customer service as unable to access or pay 2nd payment through VRBO. I had to download a 3rd party app. We use VRBO for all of our getaways and this is the first time I had to use a 3rd party. Not convenient.

Get get away close to home
Quiet place on the water, beautiful sunrises, watched harbor seals play right in front of us! Tide goes all the way out in late afternoon revealing lots of sea treasures for the kids to find. Water is calm and warm!

Amazing views of bay and wildlife
The 4 of us stayed 4 nights at Heron Reach in July. The home is wonderfully appointed with everything you might need (spices, condiments, toiletries, boots, kayaks, toys etc.) The AC in the main room worked well to cool the common areas. We spent quite a lot of time on the back deck just watching the water and many birds (hummingbirds, finches, nut hatches, eagles, and of course herons). The hot tub was sparkling clean with a clear tent- which would be great if the weather doesn't cooperate. We had fantastic weather and explored the area- Gig Harbor and too many walking trails to remember. The pathway down to the water was an easy minute walk. At the bottom is Sandpiper lagoon, which transformed with the 16' tide change. We enjoyed the kayaks and corn hole as well. I would definitely recommend this VRBO for couples or families!

House on the bay.
The house had great views of the bay and a nice deck to sit in and watch the birds. The hot tub on the deck was great. The house was clean and the beds were comfortable. The host was great to work with. He even brought us a dozen fresh eggs from his chickens. Overall it was a great experience for our family.

Moms weekend
The house was beautiful. The layout was easy to navigate. There was alot of amenities- books, games etc. We wished that the deck to the beach was accessible. Check in and check out times could be better arranged. It made us feel a bit rushed, but understand the circumstances with COVID protocol.
The home offers alot of privacy.
Overall we had a great time.

Fun getaway
We had a nice weekend at this property. The kids enjoyed kayaking in the bay and exploring at low tide. The hot tub was a nice place to relax.
We appreciated the sweet extra touches- s’mores supplies, snacks, and a bottle of wine. The owners made sure we had everything we needed for our stay.

Beautiful except for one thing . . .
Great location, beautiful house, everything we needed except a clean barbecue. When we opened it there was old food, foil, dirty utensils and grill, left from a previous user. I would assume the cleaning service would check for that so it was ready for the next renter. Other than that we had a wonderful 2 days there.

Absolutely wonderful
This is our new favorite place. Beautiful, quiet location with great views. The house was spotless and spacious with comfortable beds and a well-equipped kitchen. Friendly, generous owners (fresh eggs in the fridge from their chickens!) that give you your privacy, but are readily available if you need anything. The interior of the house is all on one level which my 84-year-old mom appreciated. I can't say enough positive things about this place. We just loved it. Can't wait to return.

Clean, comfortable and relaxing
We loved our stay at this home! It was clean, well stocked and comfortable. The hot tub was clean and inviting. Beautiful views. The owners added little touches that enhanced our stay, like providing wine, snacks and eggs from their chickens! They’ve thought of everything like providing mud boots for the beach. The owners are super friendly and welcoming without being intrusive. Great communication. Would love to stay here again!

Birthday weekend of relaxing
The house was good size and set up great for lots of guests, we had 3 couples staying, it was perfect. Had tons of things stocked for convenience from outdoor activity to lots of kitchen items and coffee on hand. The Roku TV’s for streaming was a nice touch. The only thing I wish I could find in a closet that I didn’t was a fan as I usually sleep with one. Should’ve just brought on from home. Overall it was a perfect, relaxing weekend.

Nice local waterfront getaway
Overall This we a very nice and lovely place to stay at. It was a added bonus that the Jacuzzi was covered by a cute little tent which came in handy due to the inches of snow that we got while there. It was hard to keep the house warm unfortunately we could not get thermostat to get to temp could have been due to the snow that also made the house cold. However the Jacuzzi was nice and hot so we would just warm up in there and there was a small space heater that helped. Also really enjoyed the walk down to the beach and all the boots that were provided. Very nice place to stay would go back again!

Attention to Detail
Wonderful hosts- every little thing we needed was there and then some. A warm welcome with wine, kid treats, etc...plus great instructions for the heater and wonderful resources for restaurants and local things to do. It was too windy to kayak, but we loved that they were available, Hot tub was lovely and the views are breathtaking. Highly recommend!

Beautiful!
My family and I had so much fun at Heron Reach! The inside was so clean and stocked with absolutely everything. We have a 5 and 12 year old. There were crayons, coloring books, board games, etc.
We swam in the water at high tide and hunted for sand dollars at low tide. The view from the hot tub was amazing! My kids are already asking to go back! Do yourselves a favor and go relax at the quiet escape.

Heron Beach Gem on Puget Sound
We absolutely loved this home! It was well-cleaned and exactly as advertised! Charming décor, beautiful views and complete amenities were perfect for our beach retreat! We were able to meet the homeowners, Ron and Sue, upon arrival and they were warm, inviting and accommodating! Fresh eggs from Ron's and Sue's chickens and a WA Chardonnay welcomed us! With this level of hospitality and commitment from the owners, we will definitely book this property, again!
