Great on all aspects for my second stay here.
Nothing.

Fantastic property in the gorgeous village of Burwell. Amazingly nice host.
The place was fantastically well equipped and large. Great bathroom.
It was a bit cold at night but this may just have been because I could not find the heat controller....

Lorraine is the perfect host, always on hand checking that everything is OK, full of useful hints, tips & information to make your stay easier & more satisfying. The lodge we were allocated was excellent, perfect location for us as we were visiting family in Burwell. Location is private & very peaceful, lovely landscaping ...
Two things I would like to mention, firstly the bathroom, it would be nice if there was an extracter fan or a window you could open in the bathroom, only to vent steam/condensation ...
Secondly, if you are staying as a family group - everything except the bathroom is one big open room ... if you have children with you or adults requiring their own space/room, that is not an option with the lodge we stayed in ...
The lodge we stayed in had two double beds & one single bed, plenty of room for everyone, but you won't get much privacy.

Nice location, cosy annex type out houses in the garden. They’re well presented, well looked after, we felt extremely comfortable.
Maybe that it’s a shared garden but that’s about it.

What an amazing find. From start to finish communication was excellent. The lodge was beautifully furnished.
Everything for a home from home experience. Loved the little touches in the bathroom.
Lorraine was superb, checked with us to see if everything was ok.... more than ok Lorraine, thank you.

A lovely, peaceful retreat. This property is tucked away in a quiet location. The lodge was clean and very well equipped. We will return.

The property was very clean. We had everything we needed. We met the owner who was very nice.
Ideally we would have liked separate bedrooms but we booked knowing they were all in the same room.

Still could not come here just for leisure

comfortable and welcoming. Nice setting and interesting village. Five Bells was an excellent pub!
we found the shower very difficult to use and the light kept going out.
4.7
Beds were comfortable. Spacious accommodation. We stayed in Lodge 1. Which sleeps upto 5 people.
The bathroom needs an extractor fan OR a window. It has neither. Would be nice if exterior had a good clean and cobwebs removed.

Wonderful host, well equipped lodge, great shower, plenty of room.
4.7
Perfect for us as we booked the whole place. All three lodges. Might be different with other guests around.
The dog. Although friendly it did wander into our area too much. A simple gate / barrier to prevent this when guest are staying would have improved this
