The place is simple but there’s beauty about it I felt very good and safe and I have great time staying at Casa de kid santos camping . very friendly atmosphere. I recommend if you don’t have any expectations
The owners are very nice and friendly even if I don’t speak Spanish and I felt very good energy around the space , very chilling place

This place is really nice and the hosts are friendly.

I loved it here! the mattresses in the tents are air mattresses so they are the most comfortable camping beds I’ve had here. The other campgrounds on holbox have very hard and uncomfortable mattresses! i also love that you are living with the family and really experiencing authentic life. everything was perfect and I stayed much longer than I had planned !
I loved everything including that it’s in the quiet part of the island so the beaches are more beautiful and I found places to sunbathe nude!

The owners are amazing, they are so sweet!
However if you come alone at night it os almost impossible to get to that side of the island. And as a solo female traveller it os dangerous. There are no shops/restaurants on that side of the island. Walking to the center will be 45 minutes over the beach. Or get a bike! My airbed was a no-airbed halfway through the night

It is Next to the beach
You need to walk around an hour to get there from the centre. In our case case roads were floaded so we had to swim in puddles to get there. We didnt stay as she had no electricity and the place was full of mosquitos. To get the mosquitos away, she made a fire burning plastics, which were not difficult to find cos the place is a dump. Bathroom was full of mosquitos too. There was not working light in this place... We said we wanted to pay her that night and get a refund for the Two other nights, she wasnt willing to Talk. If the price of the place was 50 pesos...but having had to pay more than 200...It doesnt make any sense.

Located close to the beautiful Playa de Coco; in the nature; away from all touristy resorts. If you get up really early you can get to see the most beautiful sunrises from that beach and you will be absolutely by yourself.
Because it rained a lot the week before, the camp site and the surrounding area was full of mosquitoes (they eat you without repellent, even with...). Luckily the camp owners made a fire with a lot of smoke to keep them away. :-)

Very nice people, the lady lighted a small bonfire in front of our cabaña right after our arrival to get rid of the mosquitos. In the cabaña, there was prepared an anti-mosquitos candle and they sold us a repellent. The camp is close to Punta Coco, where you can see the iluminating plankton.
It's basicaly in the middle of jungle... You get a lot of mosquitos around (but that's the whole Holbox problem), cockroaches in the bathroom and if you have bad luck - as we did - you might spend the night with a scorpio in the room. It's the nature of the place... but we didn't sleep very well.

Near a wonderful beach (and the bioluminescence), a small kitchen, water, comfortable mattress and a nice owner, always on site
No wifi or internet connection at all (completely out of range from everything), full of mosquitoes and human eating insects, the kitchen almost doesn't work with just a bit of wind, and there isn't a lot of equipment to begin with. It's one of the cheapest in Holbox, but for me it isn't worth the price.

The host was lovely and very helpful and looked after my valuables and even moved the tent away from the others so I could sleep under the stars.
I just thought I saw a photo with the tents by the sea so was thinking the tents were in a bit more of an open space than they were but all good!
It was quite noisy with many buggies and people noisily passing through late at night but no fault of the place.
I didnt get shown around so had no idea that there was water to use so could have saved on buying more plastic!

Very friendly and supportive hosts! The location was perfect, quiet in the night and 1 minute walk to the beach. I would book it again!
The tents are very short, to sleep in them could be a Challenge for two tall persons. We managed it somehow, so it seems to be possible :)

It was close to punto coco, where you can see the glowing plankton
They didn't give blankets and there wasn't anywhere to charge my phone inside the tent.

Staff were helpful and genuine people. If you stay here you're supporting a family business. Close to Punta Coco, so in the evening you can easily have one of the nicest beach views for yourself. Convenient if you want to see the bioluminescence (when the moon is dark enough) or the moonlit view (otherwise). Peaceful and quiet, if you know what I mean. Could be a nice basic experience for some people, but most would prefer to be more central. Staff let me borrow a bicycle, which was helpful. Best in the dry season (i.e., now) when the puddles are not so many.
30 minutes walking from the centre of Holbox. You might feel lost, but the path is straightforward in retrospect. No WiFi (same for the Balam campsite). Tent beds are air mattresses and I slept diagonally because the tent is short. Not close to restaurants or groceries, so come prepared.

The family is living there is so nice.you can cook yourself but is a very humble camping.
The walk till there is very beautiful through the beaches
The prices, cause for a place like that i would pay 200mxn at night. Holbox is increasing crazy the prices for such an humble place.
Also in the room was a lot of mosquitoes and i couldn't sleep well cause they were biting all night.
And is very far away from the center, u better rent a bicycle or u gonna pay 200mxn taxi every time or walk alot.
