Whether you are enjoying the activities of Hood Canal from the hot tub or relax in the spa master bathroom, you will feel cozy in this home with radiant heated floors and fireplace. If you enjoy nature and want to experience a true gem of the Pacific Northwest, this is a wonderful place to rest your head. There is a chef's kitchen for you to make your stay comfortable and memorable. Solar panels and back-up generator supply the house, rain or shine.
The property is located in a residential neighborhood right on the bank of Hood Canal and is the perfect place for those seeking a break from busy city life. This is a quiet community, and we ask that guests respect the community's privacy and quiet hours.
This fully furnished 2 bed/2 bath waterfront house will comfortably sleep up to 6 guests (max 4 adults). The master bedroom suite on the upper floor features a king size bed, stunning water views from the balcony, and spa-like bathroom. There is also an office with a sleeper sofa. Note that there is a hallway, but no door separating the master bedroom from the office, or the upstairs level from the main floor. On the main floor you will find another bedroom with a bunk bed and another bathroom. There is also a separate sun room and laundry room. The dining room provides a comfortable space for your entire party to enjoy meals or play board games, while enjoying views of the beautiful Pacific Northwest. The living room is furnished with comfortable seating, flat screen TV, and gas fireplace. The kitchen includes gas stove, refrigerator/freezer with water filter, ice maker, and soda stream, coffee station (coffee grinder and drip coffee maker; coffee beans, sugar, and creamer are provided), kettle, microwave, and toaster. Of course, there are plenty of pots and pans, utensils, and dishes.
Rain or shine, enjoy the backyard with outdoor kitchen (BBQ, refrigerator, etc.), fire pit, hot tub, and outdoor shower! Private stairs lead to the beach. Please note that beaches here are private, so please stay close to the property. This is the perfect place to watch for marine life, and it is a paradise for bird watchers!

There is onsite parking for 2 cars. Because we are on a septic system, flush only toilet paper, and please limit the amount. A Ring camera is installed near the driveway for outdoor video surveillance and security.
You are welcome to explore our private tideland (i.e., beach behind the property) and public beaches in the area, outside of the community. Please note that HOA rules and insurance limitations stipulate that community amenities (including playground, community beach, boat dock, and boat ramp) are not available to our guests. Also, exploring beyond the beach that is within our property boundaries results in trespassing on a neighbor's property and is strictly prohibited. State Parks in the area provide for better opportunities to explore and play.
We provide 2 adult and 2 youth kayaks with life vests and paddles for guest use. Please use at your own risk and consider your experience, abilities, tidal patterns and weather, knowing that it can change rapidly in Hood Canal.

Nice, well maintained, family-friendly home on the lake with direct access to the water.
What I appreciated: The views were awesome. Sitting out on the decks with my coffee and wine enjoying the views, was nice. Having direct access to the water steps away and kayaks were nice. The home was comfortable, and had all the necessities. The host communication was quick and efficient. Nice apple and pear trees too.
What Could be Better: Window coverings on all windows and doors. There were two bird nest; one over main entry and one over the outdoor kitchen/ eating area which made both not usable as there was a ton of poop and no one wants to eat and cook and prepare food in those conditions. Owners stated they didn't want to remove nest while there were still baby birds in them--
There was a fruit fly problem the host made me aware of the morning of check in. They put out vinegar traps, which helped some, but the gnats were still a bit of a problem mainly in the kitchen area.

This place was absolutely breathtaking! We booked this house for the last leg of our stay in Washington, and just wanted to stay at the property the entire time. My kids loved the hot tub and searching for crabs at low tide. We loved all the details of this house, so much to see while inside and outside the house. Beds were comfortable, shower immaculate and kitchen was fun to cook in. Hosts were very helpful and responsive to any questions. Highly recommended!

Our family had a such a wonderful stay at this lovely home it was hard to leave! It’s obvious that this home is special and loved by the owners and they’ve taken great care in making it comfortable, luxurious and inviting. Normally cooking feels like a chore on vacation, but I actually enjoyed cooking our meals in this VERY well outfitted kitchen. The welcome gift of snacks and wine was such a treat, and the coffee station was heaven every morning! The upstairs bath with its soaking tub and shower was such a treat at the end of a day. The outdoor space was perfect with fire pit, hot tub, outdoor eating space and fun access to the canal. Each day was difficult decide if we wanted to go off for adventures or just stay and enjoy the relaxing retreat they have created here. We are hoping we can make it back one day to enjoy it again! Thank you for sharing your special place with us!

My best friend and I spent the weekend at this beautiful house. The decor, appliances, interior and outdoor living areas are pure luxury. And then you have the stunning view from the primary bedroom and that amazing wet room with six shower heads and a ceiling filled tub. We'll be back. 😉

From the moment we arrived at this serene waterfront property in Lilliwaup, it was clear we’d stumbled upon a hidden gem. This property offers breathtaking views and a peaceful escape.
The home itself is beautiful with tasteful decor that complements its natural surroundings. Large windows frame the stunning waterfront views, allowing natural light to flood the space and create a warm, inviting atmosphere. The living area is cozy and well-equipped, perfect for evening relaxation after a day of exploring the scenic area.
One of the standout features of this property is its expansive patio, which overlooks the canal. It’s an ideal spot for morning coffees or sunset dinners, providing an uninterrupted view of the water.

This adorable house was perfect for a quiet weekend getaway with my hubby! We were greeted by a choir of barking sea lions which was quite fun and funny! The house was VERY clean! The kitchen was very impressive and appreciated! We did a bit of cooking but you could def cook for a family for a long stay no problem with all the cooking supplies! Very much loved the coffee grinder, plethora of beans, etc as well! They left frozen pizza in the freezer which we definitely took advantage of haha!! We loved the big dining table and eating our meals as we looked out at the water. We spent lots of time lounging on the couch! The master bathroom was very nice. The master bedroom was comfy, we loved the view from up there! We didn’t go outside much as it was raining most of the time but I was able to go out and take some gorgeous pics when the sun finally decided to come out for a few hours and we did get to enjoy the hot tub which was lovely and very clean. We would love to come back in the summer with the grandkids to enjoy the outdoor area more, kyaks, etc! The hosts were VERY quick to respond to messages! Thank you for providing a lovely home and great experience!!

We had a very comfortable stay! The house was perfect and provided everything we needed and more. We visited the Olympic National Park, Mt Rainier, kayaked a little, enjoyed a dip in the cool water at the canal, and enjoyed the hot tub for our semi sore muscles after all the hiking! The outdoor kitchen area was put to use as well as the amazing indoor kitchen! The view was spectacular!

This house has something for everyone. I had my 7 year old nephew with us and he had a blast. Although house is very nice it felt very comfortable. He stayed busy the whole time. Between the beach and the yard and the house. My personal favorite thing about this house was the master suite. Very relaxing. We saw birds, crabs, seals and this morning we even heard an elk bugling. Next time I hope I can stay longer to enjoy the kayaks.

This house is beautiful, comfortable, and clean! We stayed for four nights and didn't want to leave. We would spend our days exploring the area or hiking (there are many close trails close by). We would spend our evenings relaxing in the hot tub and sitting off the water sipping wine while watching the birds and harbor seals.
The hosts left us a wonderful welcome basket with wine and snacks, which was so thoughtful and nice. They were quick to answer questions and very helpful.
We hope to come back again some day!

What you see in photos is 100% accurate: spotlessly clean, stylish, and comfortable. We enjoyed everything: cooking inside and out, eating inside and out, playing on the beach, relaxing in the hot tub. Wonderfully convenient to Hama Hama Oysters and Staircase NPS.

The house was very well appointed. We Had everything we needed in the kitchen, games and toys for kids, kayaks. The furniture and appliances were all very good quality. We had a great time barbecuing, kayaking, hiking and relaxing in the jacuzzi at the end of the day. Thanks for sharing your beautiful house with us.

My family (2 adults, 3 kids) had a great time here. The house is fantastic and has everything you need for a perfect vacation! We even saw orcas from the deck! Had a great time at the Olympic National Forrest and Hama Hama! The communication with Suzanne and Christian was fantastic. We would happily stay here again!

We absolutely loved our stay and our only regret was having to leave! The entire house top to bottom is beautifully appointed. If you enjoy to cook you will love both the indoor and outdoor kitchens! My kids LOVED the kayaking right off the property and the broader surrounding area is just beautiful! Next time we will book for longer as there was more to see and more to simply enjoy at the house!

This was one of the best rentals we have stayed in. Beautifully decorated, kitchen fit for a chef, and a spa-like bathroom perfect to retreat to after a day full of hiking. We went to Lilliwaup with the intent of hiking in Olympic National Park. Due to the house’s close proximity to Staircase Rapids trail, we started our journey there-one of the best hikes in the park. This home turned out to be just what our family needed after hiking and driving all day. Coffee on the deck in the morning while watching the sun rise over Hood Canal, or a drink in the evening after a long day with the most amazing view was the icing on the cake. Our kids loved the hot tub and looking for crabs on the beach. I would recommend this home to anyone and want to come back next time to do nothing but sit on the deck and take in the extraordinary view. The area is quiet, and not busy. The hosts were fantastic with communication, went above and beyond with any possible needs, stocked the house with family games and essentials that are becoming more rare at VRBO’s, and immediately answered any questions we had. Love love love this home.

Wonderful stay
Everything about our stay here was wonderful. The home was great with the outdoor kitchen, the hot tub, and with the available kayaks which were perfect for paddling the canal. Everything was well stocked, and whatever minor issues we had were immediately addressed by the owners making things extremely easy for our family. It was very comfortable and incredibly relaxing. We definitely will be coming back to stay again.

A wonderful and well equipped property in a serene location
We had a great time. The house was very clean and well equipped with everything we needed, even wood and lighters for the fire pit outside:) , games for the kids, kayaks (we did not use because of the weather but they looked brand new), a huge gas grill outside in a covered area also with a table for 12.
Communication with the owner was great, very responsive and attentive.
The area is beautiful, watching the lows and tides throughout the day is hypnotizing, the water level changes by more than 7 feet in a matter of hours Just outside the property. The neighborhood is a bit crowded (houses are very close to each other) but the owners did a great job making it feel private.
I would definitely recommend this property for a family vacation! We loved it!

The interior of this home will wow and the outdoor space is equally enjoyable. We loved the heated concrete floors and the spacious living area. We had the most lovely weekend here! This house is just as promised in the listing, if not better. Super clean, well stocked and thoughtfully designed. The views are stellar. The master suite feels very luxurious and cozy. The hot tub was clean and hot. The hosts were very pleasant and easy to communicate with. You will not be disappointed! We hope to return to this special spot in the warmer months.

Beautiful home & Great Memories
We had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful home for a three night stay over the holidays. They made us feel so welcomed (beautiful welcome basket), and at home. Had some snow, enjoyed the hot tub nightly, loved using their gourmet kitchen, the upstairs bath tub is blissful. Hama Hama Oyster Saloon is about 6 mins away - you have to try it! We can’t wait to come and visit in the summer months.

A very special house to celebrate an after almost 2 years due covid family reunion and a birthday. Champagne in the hot tub would have been fun but sadly we had a glitsch with the circuit breaker. Access to the private beach to look for oysters washed up after the storm would also have been fun too but the steps were treacherous!The house is a cozy haven and the weekend was not long enough.We will return and wish Suzanne and Christian all the best in their new venture. PS: Instead of the beach, try oysters from Hama Hama. Booking for one of their under Cover seating booths is essential.
