Hotel with character. Staff are friendly and rooms are comfy, and clean. The bed mattress was not as comfortable as expected, maybe a bit old? Bathroom was modern and clean.
I will stay again. It is close to NEC, so if going to a concert, it is a good hotel to stay in.

This Grade 1 Listed Hotel is BEAUTIFUL.
It’s long history starting in 1557 is found throughout the manor with original panelling, paintings and huge fireplaces to sit and read a book to the enormous garden's (multiple acres to enjoy) to venture out and explore. A fabulous weekend break

Great place to stay. Great service. Good food.

Unfortunately our room window looked over an internal roof but other than that the room was fine

Not as advertised. False advertising. The superiors suite was not as advertised. They are advertising the devereux suite. If I had know I would not have booked here. Staff are unhelpful and breakfast is very limited. Condensation on the windows of the superior suite. Not happy with our stay at all.

Room ok very clean, 2 flights of stairs a bit too much, breakfast ran out of eggs ! Plates were cold needs a plate warmer, ran out of pastries

Loved this place. Almost 400 years old was enough for me. Only thing, no mini fridge in rooms and a very old mattress to sleep on.

Lovely historic castle building, in a good location off the M6. Great for a stopover

Brilliant Really Happy and Loved the stay

Beautiful property and or room was wonderful. However the night we checked in there was a wedding reception that held a lot of people. We were unable to enjoy that grounds that evening due to the amount of people there, also the vehemence not finished until close to 11pm. This was not fun for us as our two children struggled to sleep. I would have liked to have been notified of this event as we may have chosen a different hotel more so for the lack of sleep my children had.

Lots of parking, but had a qedding on so difficult to find somewhere, also not a single disabled space available and all majority of cars using them had no blue badge.
I have some mobility issues and was at the 2nd floor with no lift. My fault as i hadnt informed them. Lovely gardens and impressive hotel. Excellent breakfast

This should not be a room, between the bar and the toilets.

The appearence of the hotel looks lovely but it's one of those that is lovely on the outside and needs doing up on the inside. Checking in went ok, girl a bit off hand though. Was told breakfast started at 7am. Had trouble finding my room, number not stated anywhere, and after going up and down 67 steps, yes 67!, I finally found it. It was fine, bathroom clean, just a bit dated. Would do me for 1 night.
Next morning I went down for breakfast at 7.20 to be told it didn't start until 8am on a Saturday and I couldn't sit in the dining room on my own waiting because of health and safety, there was some hot water in there!
So waited in the lobby till 8, wasn't doing 67 steps again.
I was dreading breakfast after reading reviews but it was good. Ok the scramble eggs looked horrible but everything else was lovely. The waiter brought tea or coffee and did your toast and brought it. He was very friendly. Would have appreciated another cup of coffee but by this time he was running around like the proverbial as her was the only member of staff there.
Would I stay again? Well, for one night due to it's location and plenty of free parking I probably would. It was easy to get from there to the NEC. Just don't go expecting a lot after seeing the picture of the front of the hotel, it's more like Fawlty Towers.

A very comfortable hotel, modern bathroom.

The staff are the most friendly staff I have ever experienced at a hotel, always smiling and cannot do enough to help you! The hotel is a little tired in places and could do with a lick of paint but bed was comfortable and room was clean enough.

Although the hotel was old the rooms are very tired and need a full refurbishment. On the plus the staff are friendly and helpful. Bed was comfortable and did manage to sleep well.

The building ofcourse is amazing from the outside, parking nice and safe also in the grounds and perfectly close to BHX airport. The bed linnen was cheap and the beds not well made, like you would expect for this price range. The shower was full of mould , the mirror light did not work and a big hole under the sink, tea making facilities also below parr. Our room definitely needed a make over. Only then I would stay again.

Bad unfriendly service at checkin!!!🙄…..We were banished away from the main castle building away, away into a ‘Toilet Block” type building…..(even though we were paying 100 GBP for the night!!!)…..with NO INTERNET (when it said free Wifi!!!)…………😳……& a slopey small bed not big enough for two people!!!😡🙄. NEVER stay at this hotel!!!

We asked to change rooms because of the black mould in the bathroom and the tiny cold room, they gave us a choice of 2 rooms. Both rooms had mould in the bathrooms, but it was 8.30pm and after a days flight. We were tired and hungry, We have stayed before in a bigger room with no mould. The breakfast was minute and cold, after 2 attempts at ordering as the non English speaking waiter kept getting a full English wrong. (I did feel sorry for him though). Needless to say, we will never stay again. I think this hotel may have changed management since our previous visit, last November 2023.i could have booked a premiere inn for half the price.

We were very happy with our stay at Castle Bromwich Hall the accommodation was warm and clean, the bed was very comfortable, the towels were spotless, parking was easy,
but the shower didn't work properly as the controls were loose and the water was only lukewarm, the plug in the sink didn't work, and the bathroom window was rotted and needed to be replaced as the mold was bad, cleaning it would not have made much difference. We only stayed one night so that was fine. Attention should be paid to these points as it is off-putting as it should only need a good plumber to put the bathroom right and a new window, otherwise, Fabulous,

Such a lovely hotel! The family room was fantastic as had a twin bedroom off the main bedroom. So nice to be able to watch TV while kids are going to sleep in their own room, rather than be stuck sitting in the dark when all 4 of us are sharing one bedroom.
The hotel and grounds are very well kept, with a feeling of grandeur. We all slept well in really comfy beds and enjoyed a great buffet breakfast and stroll around the grounds in the morning. A credit to the owners and friendly staff.
The hotel is well located and we stayed after visiting Winter Funland at the NEC. In the evening, we and had a short trip to Star City a few miles up the road, for a meal and game of indoor golf.

I didn't want a city hotel and wanted easy secure parking. Nice and quiet. Grounds look nice but as on business, no chance to look around.
