We were traveling with 4 teenage boys for this trip. We have a hot tub at home so we gave the choice between a house with a hot tub or pool table. They chose a hot tub. I found this listing and read some reviews about the hot tub not working. Since it was a must on the list I emailed the listing agent and they assured me it was in working order. I should have listened to the reviews.
We arrived on a Monday. The house is nice, well equipped and very convenient to RMNP. We opened the lid to the hot tub and was absolutely disgusted!!! It was FILTHY! I texted the agent and she said she would have someone come out and look at it. We found on the side of the hot tub that it had been “serviced” the day we were checking in. There is NO way anyone serviced this. Pretty sure they just signed the card and left. The guy was supposed to come out the next day and we got a text saying he was at the Doctor. So two days gone now. He finally arrived Wednesday and did some work on it. We had left to go hiking, came back and it looked better BUT.when we tried to turn the heat up it said basically the heater was out (can’t remember exactly the wording) .So the hot tub that we rented the house for was completely useless!!! We paid this much money for nothing, could have stayed somewhere else for A LOT cheaper that didn’t have one. If you’re looking for a house with a working hot tub for the nights after hiking all day this house is NOT for you.

Accommodations were beautiful and perfect for our family. A bonus is how close it is to everything that Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park have to offer. Fun seeing elk and deer everyday. Highly recommend and we will definitely be back!

Beautiful cabin and location!

The house was super clean and had a great floor plan. The location was excellent; minutes to both downtown Estes Park or Rocky Mt. National Park’s Fall River entrance. My only 2 complaints are that the double glass doors to the screened porch were extremely drafty, making the main living area really chilly. The heat was set to 69 and we didn’t want to turn it up too much due to cost for the owner, but even at 70, the main rooms were cold (in March). Also, we specifically booked a place with a hot tub. Vacasa didn’t have anyone check if it was working and of course on our 2nd day when we went to use it we learn that it’s broken. Vacasa did get a repair man out right away, who was really nice, but it needed a part that had to be ordered, so we had no hot tub for our whole stay. Very disappointing, especially after some long hikes. If they’d checked it a week or two before we got there, we could have used it.
Even with those issues, I would stay there again, in slightly warmer times of the year.

We had a perfect Thanksgiving weekend staying at this property. Our family of 8 had plenty of room to enjoy this beautifully decorated home. House was clean, kitchen was well appointed with everything we needed since we ate all our meals there. Wildlife, including elk, deer and wild turkeys paraded by daily and we experienced our first snow of the season. All in all, just a perfect family retreat.

This well appointed home was located near all popular areas of both Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The property manager Amanda was exceptionally helpful.

The house was perfect for our group of 6 adults. The location is wonderful, close enough to town but loved the spacious yard and surrounding. We saw elk, chipmunks, birds, wild turkeys . Enjoyed the hot tub every evening. The kitchen well stocked to cook in and all bedrooms had comfortable beds. Love this place, highly recommend.

This two story home with many amenities is the best location for a stay to visit Rocky Mountain National Park! The timed entry system has to be met by planning. This stay allows the quickest travel to the RMNP Fall River entrance and avoids the traffic through Estes Park. Read further in our review for the amenities which make this worthwhile beyond the advantage of its location!

We had a full house with the family and thoroughly enjoyed the house and amenities. The neighborhood is very quiet and safe for the youngest of the grandkids to walk around, and close enough to short trails for the little ones. The kitchen is very roomy which is a good thing when you are serving buffet style meals. The bathrooms are very clean and update to date. The one thing that I would upgrade is the television setup, never been a fan of directv, but than again we did not spend too much time in front of the tube anyway.
The master bedroom was nice even though we gave it up to the grandkids parents for the little one lol.

Beautiful spot!
We loved staying at the Buckhead! It was both a beautiful home and a beautiful spot to stay while we were in Estes Park. The home was well-appointed and the National Park just two miles up the road (an entrance to it). We hope to come back and stay in the summer.
