Marvin is a fabulous host. Met us at arrival. showed us where everything was located. Hints for fireworks viewimg on the 4th of July. Property was exactly as pictured. Three families 5 grandchildren. Cornhole and horseshoes. Two grilles, two fire pits for smores and stories. A great swing. Coffee in the morning on the deck.

This house is even better than it looks from the pictures. Plenty of space for our extended family (three adults and four teenagers in our group). The house is beautifully updated and had everything we needed for a great stay. Beautiful property - we loved all the decks and hammocks. We saw lots of elk and deer around the house during our stay. We would definitely stay here again in the future.

We found the cabin to be perfect for us. Everything was clean and there wasn’t anything we didn’t need. Loved the downstairs extra room that gave my husband and I privacy while traveling with our friends. Would definitely book here again!

We had a great family vacation staying in this cabin. Marvin was very nice and welcoming! The home is very clean and had all the amenities that we needed for our stay. We enjoyed all the animals that came by to visit us as well! Thank you for the hospitality!

Great location in Estes Park! House was really spacious. We were there only two and half days so didn’t even have time to enjoy the deck and fire pits - we were so tired from long fun days in Rocky Mountain National Park. Hosts are lovely and responsive also.

This place is close to everything but situated to where you can avoid the Main Street area if you’re not going there. Great outdoor setup too! Lots of seating.

We were traveling to Estes Park to visit family nearby and Rocky Mt National Park. The house was clean and had plenty of space for our family of 5 (parents, 11-year-old, 9-year-old, 1-year-old) and to host dinner for my brother and his family of four. We enjoyed smores (ingredients provided by the host!) and dinner both indoors and outdoors on the deck and outside near the gas fire pit. My daughter especially enjoyed the moose/bear/elk themed decor in each bedroom.
We forgot to close small propane tank after grilling one evening and then became alarmed by the smell. We figured out what the problem was fairly quickly, but the host was also very responsive when we reached out to him.
The location was conveniently close to a grocery store and to the Beaver Meadows Entrance Station of the National Park.
We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again! :)

We had a great experience from arrival to exit. Marvin and Pat were very helpful explaining where things were. Any concerns were quickly addressed. Their home was clean with everything we needed for the stay. A small herd of elk visited everyday along with a mama deer and her baby. RMNP was a couple of miles away. We grilled, made S'mores and we made memories.

We couldn't have been more comfortable! The home was clean and roomy. We brought food (frozen casseroles and stuff for the grill), everything else was there and at our fingertips. Marvin was a great host. He checked in on us to ensure our comfort. Elk greeted us in the front yard on day one; mule deer bedded down under the deck on a couple of other days....God's country! Great neighborhood. Just can't say enough. We'll be back!

House was very well furnished with kitchen stuff, bathrooms and bedrooms were very clean. The bedroom even had a high chair. Really comfortable stay, beautiful location close to markets and gorgeous views.

This property was perfect for our trip. Marv and Pam were excellent hosts. They checked on us and gave us some excellent ideas for our time while we were there.
Estes Park is absolutely beautiful!
We had deer in the yard every morning and evening.
The fire pit made for an excellent evening of relaxation. The house has everything you could need for cooking and grilling. The beds are comfortable. The fireplace was very nice. My granddaughter loved it. The baby gate was much appreciated and so was the high chair. The pictures and description of this home do not do it justice. We comfortably had 8 adults and an 19 month old there. We couldn’t have been more satisfied. You won’t regret booking this home with this host.

The house was better than listed pics and description. We had everything we needed and much more. There was plenty of space for our large family. We had the basement additional space and it was nice for my son with family and new baby to have privacy and a full kitchen in it to wash and prepare bottles. The baby never woke anyone up upstairs. We enjoyed playing cornhole every night and toasted marshmallows for s’mores over the propane fire pit ring.
You can tell that Marvin and his wife put a lot of thought into knowing exactly what a family needs. It felt very homey to us. It was exactly what our family needed. Daily sightings of wildlife right from the deck were awesome!
Btw, everyone said their beds were very comfy.

Marvin's place was perfect for my family. Great location, spacious and had everything we needed. Marvin was super accommodating and even let us stay a bit past checkout when the hotel we booked for a wedding didn't have early check in. Highly recommend.

Great, clean place. Wildlife is out in the backyard in the AM. Lots of room more than ample supplies. Would definitely stay here again. Entrance to Bear Lake side of RMNP is straight up the main road from the house.

Our Girl Scout troop from Orlando had been saving cookie profits for a few years and wanted an experience different than what we could find in Florida. Once the girls voted on visiting the Rocky Mountain National Park we knew we wanted to stay somewhere with a kitchen so we could cook and save money. This property fit all our needs. There were enough beds with only one mom and daughter team sharing a bed. It was within a short driving distance to all of our activities, Mustang Coaster, RMNP, horseback riding, MacGregor Ranch, and shops downtown. The host Marvin met us at the property and gave us the tour and other helpful hints about Estes Park. He has the property well stocked with paper towels, toilet paper, cleaning supplies, and garbage bags. The are also extra towels if needed. The laundry facilities were a major selling point since we stayed for 9 nights but wanted to pack light. Detergent was provided and much appreciated. There were even styrofoam coolers we used that allowed us to pack lunches and snacks to further reduce money spent eating out. The deck is fantastic with ample seating and gorgeous views. Often I’d find girls relaxing in the hammock or swing. We utilized the propane fire pit outside to roast marshmallows one night.
Most days deer or elk could be seen walking in the yard or surrounding yards. Something we’d never see at home but wished to see in Colorado.
It was nice to have a house to come back to each night after our adventures instead of a hotel. Our girls who were taking summer college courses for dual enrollment were able to utilize the Wi-Fi and submit assignments.
Great property and would return again if we were to further explore the park.

Happy with the house and the view

The property was on a nice lot with a lot of open space. The rooms were furnished nicely, and the home was neat and clean with all of the supplies that we needed. It would have to have an additional bathroom on the main level.

This was the perfect place for our vacation in Colorado.
Marvin was great. He maintained contact before arrival and during our visit to ensure we had the information we needed and were having a good stay.
The location was perfect, within walking distance to the downtown area of Estes Park but not so close as to be in town, giving us a feeling of being in the woods. It was a also a great location as an HQ for trips to Rocky Mountain National Park, Boulder, Denver and many other cool places, all within easy driving distance.
The cabin itself was clean and well outfitted for our stay. We enjoyed the porch and the view of the mountains and all of the wildlife that wandered into yard. The location was quiet, private and relaxing
We couldn't ask for a better place or for a better host in Marvin.

The house had everything we needed! Tons of towels, clean linens, blankets and extra pillows. Fully stocked kitchen and even coffee. Lots of room for all of us (10). The owner is great about checking you in and explaining everything. He was very nice and helpful. Checked on us to see if we needed anything. Definitely worth it!

Great space for three friends in their 50s, 60s, and 70s. Best outdoor space of anywhere we've stayed in 20 years of going to Estes. Big problem however. Pictures don't show that the entrance consists of 2 sets of cement steps without railings. The oldest of our group with a cane because of balance issues, couldn't go in or out without help from one of the others.

Lovely property — removed from neighbors, wonderful decor, indoor and outdoor games, and well-stocked kitchen. We will book again!

This property has an excellent location for Estes Park and RMNP. The house was clean and is well stocked with linens and kitchen supplies. The outside decks and hammocks are really nice. Wonderful family vacation.

This house gave us the connection to nature we were looking for during our visit to Estes Park. We were able to view elk, deer, and birds from the deck overlooking the yard. The owner was always available for questions and the house was super clean. I highly recommend this property !

Excellent house for a family!

This was a wonderful property, even better than described in the listing. My wife and I, along with three of our adult children and their significant others spent the 4th of July week here. The cabin was fabulous, clean, spacious and well stocked. Most every morning and evening there were elk in the yard. We spent most of the week hiking RMNP and then evenings downtown which is about a mile and a half drive. Perfect location for such activities. Also, great decks and an outdoor propane firepit! Marvin was there to greet us when we arrived and to ensure we had everything we needed. I called him Sunday evening to report a minor issue with a ceiling fan and he had someone there Monday morning to fix it. Communication and responsiveness just doesn't get any better than that. It's an easy call to recommend this property without reservation. Again, thanks Marvin.

We had a great time and enjoyed the views - would definitely stay again ! We saw lots of elk come through and beautiful mountain views. The decks are a great place to relax, read books, and play cards. Great natural light and resources in the cabin including games, movies, books, and cooking supplies. Marvin is an awesome and responsive host.
