Not what we expected from the advertisement.

Close access to Blenheim

The property is on a main road although there is close access to the park. It is small and quite shabby. The bathroom is barely adequate with a lethal bath.

No parking, and guidance provided is all permit now so had to park in the all day car park for 12 hours

Excellent location comfortable well equipped cottage with garden.

Lovely cottage with very bright and comfortable conservatory and garden Excellent location in Woodstock with very close access to Blenheim park. Well equipped kitchen, great WiFi and smart tv

Parking in Woodstock is a little bit stressful.

Zentral gelegenes cosy Cottage am Rande von Blenheim Palace Park

Gefallen hat vor allem die zentrale Lage, die Aussicht auf den Blenheim Palace Park vom Wintergarten aus und das Willkommenspaket mit Brot, Butter, Milch, Marmelade, Kaffee und Tee. Das Cottage war cosy and warmhearted welcome. Wirklich schön für das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis.

Amüsant sind hier und da die tropfenden Wasserhähne, die man aber nicht hört, weil oben geschlafen wird. Ein kleines Abenteuer ist das Aufschließen des Wintergartens. Es hat geklappt und war alles ok.

Basic property needing sorting out before renting out.

The location to Blenheim Palace was fantastic The small garden could be made really beautiful The welcome gifts

Lack of parking. Had to get up before 8am to move car. 5mins walk was uphill along a busy road. Bedding was cheap. Run down property Tap dripping, settee was basic, knife was broken on top, when I went the open the built in oven door the whole oven pulled out. To access the bathroom you had to go through a glass conservatory which has no blinds. One of main walkways to Blenheim was just over the wall making it not good in the evening when you need the light to walk through the conservatory to get to the bathroom ( which was a long way from the bedrooms) This is the most disappointing property we have used and are surprised that you haven't picked this up. Having used booking site many times but will have to rethink. Not suitable for any unable guests at all and not a restful environment as no luxury touches apart from Blenheim on the door step.

Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves

Lovely setting. Garden great for relaxing. Cottage was cosy & had everything we needed for our stay.

Parking - though that is caused by the popularity of the area. Once we found a parking spot ( the next day) the car was not moved since unlikely to regain the parking.

A lovely cottage looking over Blenheim Park. Welcome pack was a lovely surprise.

TV was difficult to work, but we did get there. No bbc or itv for daily bews etc

Great stay, would highly recommend.

great location, lovely touches on arrival including fresh bread and milk. large bedrooms. great kitchen. nice garden. easy access.

no parking however this can’t be helped. shower is not the best. had to be mindful using the stairs as one of the bottom steps appears to be angled (unsure if it is broken/ damaged) - after a couple of falls up the stairs between us - we remembered to be more careful!

Superb

A cosy cottage within easy reach from Oxford (even with bus), but already in a village that feels Cotswolds. Even better: directly neighbouring Blenheim Palace Castle Park. Perfect place to escape the crowded city and enjoy nature. Let it be just a walk in the park or hiking a full day. There is a fireplace in one of the bedrooms and also in the living room! The dining room is a veranda. Perfect atmosphere.

For people from the Continent, some technological details are a bit unusual. Nevertheless, we found even these riddles (like finding out how to turn off the light in the bathroom for example) to be fun.

Nice clean house in good location for Blenheim palace grounds Very warm house.

Very difficult to park . No room to even drop of cases . Single duvet on single beds had a habit of falling off in night . Doubles would of been a better option

Overall, thoroughly enjoyable and would stay again.

just the car parking which was a bit pot luck to get parked close to the property and avoid the hill back into town with all the luggage.
