The property location is very convenient for visiting town high street or bird hide watch.
I couldn’t find anything I don’t like

The breakfast was delicious and something really unique and special. Our hosts were super friendly and gave lots of advice on where to eat and local walks. The room was beautifully decorated. This is a truly special place to stay and I would highly recommend it.

Before we arrived Jeremy sent us lots of recommendations for restaurants to book to avoid disappointment when we arrived. The property itself was close to the station and easy to find. On arrival we were greeted with tea and coffee and the town was outlined on a map with special recommendations for places to eat and drink, according to what we were looking for. The room itself was spacious, immaculate, filled with beautiful smelling amenities (all with special information about where and how they were made), with a tea/coffee bar. Breakfast everyday was exceptional- with freshly picked fruit, homemade yogurt, homemade toast, homemade spread and then a choice of a warm breakfast (the Czech dishes were fantastic- highly recommend!) and tea/coffee/homemade apple juice- it kept us full for most of the day! Otherwise Jeremy and Tomas were so accommodating and took time to explain where best to visit or to help with smaller details, such as taxi drivers if you are visiting tillingham. Could not recommend Aviemore more!

The breakfasts were really amazing, exceedingly imaginative and very well presented. Our hosts were very helpful in advising us about local restaurants and local walks. Rye is a uniquely old and beautiful town which is well worth a visit.
Nothing really; but visitors should be aware that our room faced the main road so a little noisy (especially if you like to have the window open) and that there is no parking on-site.

Beautifully appointed house and a great location just moments walk from the old centre of Rye. We had the room at the top of the house with a separate living room and it was spacious and beautifully furnished and decorated. Breakfasts were delicious - fruit and yoghurt, toast all followed by a choice of cooked breakfast. Jeremy and Tomas were so welcoming, friendly and they gave us lots of recommendations for pubs, restaurants, wineries and local walks.

Beautiful property inside and out. Hosts made us feel very welcome. The attention to detail in all aspects of our stay was outstanding. Jeremy recommended good eateries prior to our arrival. Thomas produced the most delicious breakfasts and both were excellent in giving advice on places to visit/walks/sea swimming. In all my travels this stay was one of the most memorable.

Nothing, it was perfect

A lot of thought had gone into the breakfast and it was very nicely cooked but we would have been just as happy with a few more traditional menu options.
The hosts were very pleasant and informative about the locality which was nice.
The bed was a standard double which although was the right size for the room, was smaller than we are used to.

The interior design is so clever and unique and the breakfast is the best I’ve ever had at a B n B anywhere in the world. I am in tourism so I have seen a lot more than most.
Location is very close to a busy road, however I didn’t hear it at all from my room.

We spent two nights at this amazing guest house last week. Jeremy and Tomas made us so welcome . The accommodation was comfortable and tastefully furnished.
The breakfasts were superb with a large variety to choose from. The food was locally sourced and delicious. We loved the special touches Tomas created for us. It needs to be experienced!
Jeremy and Tomas were so helpful in suggesting places to visit and various restaurants that were highly recommended. Nothing was too much trouble.
We loved their eco friendly way of living and it certainly gave us food for thought.
We will return to Aviemore in the not too distant future .

This is a hidden gem! Jeremy and Tomas are wonderful hosts. They were extraordinarily helpful and provided us with lots of good recommendations where to eat and what to see. The breakfast was outstanding. The house and it’s interior are very beautiful. The rooms are not spacious but have everything you need for a view nights. We will definitely come again.

We had a garden view room very stylishly and thoughtfully decorated, was peaceful and quiet. Everything was spotlessly clean. The breakfast was amazing, with locally sourced ingredients, homemade bread and spreads, and a choice of cooked dishes. Lovely hosts who were attentive and with a good knowledge of local area- recommended good places to eat and drink. Rye is beautiful and we did some excellent walks to Hastings and Camber Sands.
Nothing- trip was wonderful

We could not have found a better place to stay in Rye. The room, breakfast and location was incredible! Jeremy and Tomas are exceptional hosts. Our trip would not have been as enjoyable without their hospitality and recommendations. They took the time to talk us through different sites, restaurants and walks. 10/10

The hosts could not have done any more to make us welcome, showing us around the facilities available and recommending places to dine and to visit. Our breakfasts during our two-night stay were exceptional and the presentation of the table in the guest's own exclusive breakfast room were a work of art and had to be photographed! The range of food and drink available each day, catering for all tastes. We would have no hesitation in recommending Aviemore Guest House.
The main issue, sadly, is the busy road at the front of the property and the high step up to the front door or step down onto the road, the pavement being on the opposite side of the road from the property. This made access somewhat difficult for my disabled partner. Car Parking, by pre-payment, is located several hundred metres away from the property and parking the car for unloading/loading is both impossible, hazardous, and illegal on the busy narrow road outside the property. We stayed in the 'Teak' room, on the first floor at the rear of the house, which was both delightful and quiet, overlooking the terraced garden. In the very compact bathroom, the step-down from the shower cubicle was troublesome for my disabled partner and could prove to be a potential hazard for some visitors.

Everything was great! Jeremy and Tomas were super friendly and made us feel welcome. They were happy to help us with recommendations about places to eat, things to do and places to see. We loved our room and the location was also great.
Breakfast was absolutely amazing for both vegan and non-vegan.
We definitely want to stay here if visiting Rye again.
Our bed was maybe bit too small for my tall partner but it wasn't really a problem.

The breakfast offered by the host was absolutely amazing, beautifully presented with fresh flowers, never seen anything like it! We felt very welcome, like family. Everything was very simple, well beyond our expectations, giving extensive advice and always happy to help. The whole experience was very authentic and warm, what a lovely home.

On arrival we were made to feel welcome with a coffee. Shown around the property and everything explained. Information given about the town , good bars and restaurants to try and local places of interest. Also identified on a map given to us. The property has a lovely feel to it, space has been used well with attention to detail, finished off with complementary decor. The breakfast experience is out of this world, with many homemade products from the bread to the jams. Attention to detail on combining fruits and homemade products towards a theme to refresh and energise. A choice of different breakfasts that you will want to experience. All presented with care and love. Again their attention to detail creates a relaxed and enjoyable experience. The hosts again take the opportunity to help through finding out what you want from your day and provide ideas and options with their local knowledge. A wonderful stay here, from start to finish made me feel welcome, unwind and relaxed from the busy and everyday stress of work. The town itself is just a couple minutes walk with lots of history and shaped the streets and styles of houses from the different periods. Independent shops and restaurants are great to see adding to the character of the town. We had fun looking around the many antique shops as well as buying some new shirts, jewelry and gems. Had some lovely food in some of the restaurants serving local fresh produce. Had a day out walking in the nature reserve within the harbour that allowed plenty of photography opportunities as did the town itself. Lovely walks inland as well by the canal or river. Several surrounding towns and places of interest would visit if we were staying for longer, next time perhaps.

I was returning to Australia and went to Rye for the history and walks. Avimore provided this and added; perfect hospitality, decor and feeling in home that was balanced and harmonious. Food perfection. My heart and journey home was made warmer.
I was not going to stay longer

The property was very clean and homely with private dining areas and then guest rooms. The room was incredibly clean and well thought out providing a comfortable and enjoyable stay. A big thank you to our hosts who went out our way to make sure we had a lovely stay and experience in Rye :)) would definitely recommend to friends and family
There was not much at all to dislike at the property at all!! a great place to stay and enjoy Rye- only thing to note was the cleaning service on room each day was excellent but due to the extensive tidying we sometimes found we misplaced items as they had been tidied and moved

Loved Thomas. He was an absolute darling and so passionate about everything. The breakfast was amazing. The place was kept very well and had interesting aspects.
If you have any mobility problems then you should be aware of the downside. Nowhere to drop passengers or heavy bags off as it is an extremely busy road. The steps up to the front door are very steep. As are the steps to the bedrooms. The light switch in the bathroom may be too high for shorter people and this could proove difficult. The walk to the town is up some steep steps or a steep slope.

Had the most amazing stay here and can’t wait to come back for a long weekend. The guest house was so beautiful and clean and in the perfect location to explore Rye. Tomas and Jeremy were so welcoming and helpful and went out of their way to recommend the best places to eat and activities to do whilst here as well as offering us blankets for the beach and flasks of tea for our walks. They cooked us the most incredible breakfast each morning, so beautifully presented and delicious. Nothing was too much trouble and they were the perfect hosts!

Everything about the Aviemore was absolutely beautiful - each room had its own individuality and warmth and you could tell how much care went into each decision. The breakfast was amazing. Wish we could have stayed longer.

We had such a wonderful stay with Jeremy and Thomas. They paid great attention to small details, including the room decorations, the AMAZING breakfast (me and my partner have quite different tastes but both absolutely loved it, and so much of it was home made / locally sourced etc) and all their help with making the most of the local area (places to eat, support with bus times etc). Even though the BnB is on a busy road, it’s lovely and peaceful and you couldn’t hear the road from our room at all - just a lovely view of the garden. The location was great - situated in the heart of Rye and great walks nearby (that they can advise on). They also have a focus on being sustainable, e.g. by limiting plastic use which we really liked. Jeremy and Thomas were also just lovely, kind people - nothing was too much trouble. We are so glad we found this place!
