no air conditioning in living area. Downstairs jacuzzi tub broke first night & did not get fixed while we were there. Power outage in evening for 4 hours. Yard was unkept & very hard to walk on.

It was wonderful!

The home was a great setup for our family. The river is right outside the front door. You can walk to downtown Estes Park but it is located in a somewhat commercial neighborhood. The view is into the back of a gift shop. We did enjoy our time in the park.

Great location and great lay out for a family with adult children. Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. Wonderfully stocked kitchen with everything you need including an ice maker, small kitchen appliances and spices.Thoughtfully stocked with toiletries, bath and beach towels, info on RMNP, books and games. Would definitely stay there again!

We stayed for 6 days and everything was great

Our family stayed in Estes for a long weekend. The place was wonderful with a ton of space. It's close to downtown and right by the river. We were talking about trying to stay there this summer when we can enjoy outside more!

Great location - close to downtown and RMNP. The house has a great layout perfect for our family. We had our 3 kids and in-laws and everyone had plenty of space. Kitchen was well equipped. We enjoyed the board games provided in the family room. Highly recommend this property!

We had a lovely Christmas weekend in Estes Park with all ages of family members. Ten of us slept comfortably with separate temp controls and TVs in every room. Cozy family rooms with fireplaces provided a video game space for the teens and a bigger living room for Christmas morning, football and family games. We especially loved using the hot tub as the evening snow was falling. The location by the creek was fantastic, for ambiance and for the deer that came through the yard Christmas morning.

Great stay in late November. The location to town and the national park was close enough. The neighborhood was quiet and the creek outside the home was flowing. My family enjoyed our stay.

This home was comfortable and clean. The star attraction is being situated with the river flowing through the back yard, with a table outside to sit and relax with a glass of wine while the water flows past. I wish I’d remembered to pack a table cloth. The beautiful river perch made up for the house being situated next to complex of storage sheds. The secret to that was just not to look out the windows on that side of the house.
Plenty of dishes, pots and pans. We cooked many of our meals in and could produce lots of wonderful dishes. Lots of stairs in this house, with 1 bedroom on the main floor and 3 bedrooms down. You must walk up 12 stairs to access the main level, so that may be a consideration for a family with elderly guests. I appreciated being able to hear the river calmly flowing at night from my downstairs room. I would stay here again, especially if we were traveling with our grandchildren, who would remember that river for the rest of their lives.

Super clean and lovely accommodated cabin. Plenty of room for our group of 6 adults and 1 child. Have I mentioned how clean it was?

Great Location, ready for us, lots of comfortable space

Peaceful riverside cabin close to town and other attractions. Great trip with beautiful scenery and even a couple chances to see elk in the river behind the house.

We had a great experience here. Was very close to town. Loved being on the River. We even saw a momma Elk and her Baby cross the river right in front of the cabin. The only some what negative was that it’s oddly located next to storage units. But this did not really effect our experience there. The cabin was well stocked for cooking and very accommodating.

The house was well maintained and having the river in the backyard was incredible. The kitchen is well appointed, (except for measuring spoons) with cookware that you could actually use. The house is in an HOA, so be aware of that. We had one misunderstanding with the house rules (we had friends come over for breakfast one day so we had 5 vehicles for a couple of hours instead of the 4 allowed) and, rather than reaching out to me by phone, the property manager messaged me through VRBO with a bit of a 'scolding' message. I found the message unnecessary when a quick text or phone call would have allowed us to remedy the situation. All in all, the place was nice and the sounds of the river were perfection. I would stay there again.

Owner was very helpful and communicated perfectly! Everything as advertised!

This was the best stocked and equipped kitchen we've stayed, and the location was very convenient to the downtown area.

5 adults and two toddlers- a great house… Having the river right there was awesome. Best equipped kitchen (tools and spices) we’ve seen! About a 10 minute walk to the center of town/shops/restaurants.
Very clean, and very well marked with relative information. Excellent beds! If and when we return to Estes Park, we will definitely re-book. Thanks!!

Nice home right on the river, which we loved to see and hear as it rushed by. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. We had everything we needed to a perfect family get-away.
4.8
It was very nice and quiet, I recommend this spot to anyone who loves the mountains.

Lovely home, great location. Kitchen was especially nice to cook in. All the equipment you need.

This property came with a very helpful notebook inside recommending local activities and restaurants. The location is very close to shopping, outdoor activities and great food. The owners were very quick to respond to any issues/questions we had. Some of the furniture and household items were old, unstable and expired. For this price point we expected a little more.

This house was a real gem! The location was great! It was a quick walk to downtown with great shopping. We were located on the river, which was beautiful and I can only image what it would look like during the summer. The layout of the house was great with 2 living areas. I would recommend this property as a great place in Estes Park.

Everything you could need for a stay with family. Beautiful deck sitting and features in both cabins.

The cabin was beautiful and cozy. Super easy to get down town and enjoy some great shopping. Great views and better times would definitely recommend.

My wife, two daughters, and me stayed at this property with another family of five. So nine of us in total. Plenty of room for all of us. The kitchen was equipped well enough to cook a Thanksgiving dinner. Overall, a good property.

What a wonderful place to stay next to the river, close to town and ample room for our family to spend some time together! Everything you might need is considered... plenty of towels, kitchen items, hot tub, and thermostats in each room. Thank you!

Beautiful home by the river and town!! Would stay again!!

The property was very nice and you are right next to the River. We were there in the heat and there is air conditioning.

This place was awesome. Fully stock kitchen with spices, condiments and nice appliances and eating. No, they don't provide food.
Three king size beds. TV's in every room. Three bathrooms with nice furnishings and a washer and dryer. Hot tub, but with the rain we did not use. Right beside a nice flowing creek. And very close to town. Please choose this place if you have a larger family.

This is a great place to stay and unwind. The location is perfect and you can easily walk to downtown Estes and not have to fight for a parking spot! Super clean and perfect river location. Looking forward to hopefully staying for another visit in the not-so-distant future!

Was a good choice for our family vacation. Close to many activities

We really enjoyed our stay at Winding River! It had plenty of space for our small group of four, and our teens were very grateful to have their own spaces. The location was very convenient both to downtown Estes Park and RMNP. The cabin was well-stocked with everything we needed, and we enjoyed the morning visits by deer and elk. We would definitely stay here again if we return to Estes.
