Stanza ampia e ben pulita.

uncomfortable mattress, the springs poked your body.

rooms are really big, staff is gentle, there a bus that goes to Mondello and really good bakeries just in front of the structure
the location is not so near to the city centre ( you need to take trasports to get to the city centre), it would be correct to mention that this is not an hotel but rooms inside a religious structure. Apart form this, I can still suggest the structure if you're looking for smt in a budget.

There is private parking and they clean the rooms daily.
First of all, I think it has to be mentioned in the description of this accommodation that the facility is actually dorms with some rooms they use as accommodation. We were surprised and shocked when we arrived since we had no clue. There is also a school on the other side. To be honest, we couldn’t really tell what the place was and we couldn’t get an explanation since no one speaks English there. We assumed it is a church school and dorms from what we saw. We had difficulties finding the place and again, the lady doesn’t speak English so it was really difficult to communicate with her. In my opinion, you need an English speaker if you are accommodating foreigners. The location is far from the city center which wasn’t a big problem for us since we were by car. The AC was NOT working and when we asked about it they said that it was ‘disconnected’ in April (we were there mid April) and they are not allowed to use it therefore we stayed in a not so warm room. They told us to use extra blankets which were quite old and uncomfortable. Lastly, there was a group of, I assume, students who live in the room next to us and they made a party until late at night so we couldn’t really sleep.

Kindness of the staff, their flexibility, the cleanliness, the size of both, room and bathroom.
Location was a bit far from city center, but it was a nice neigbourhood

The dorm-like accomodation is located in not very nice suburbs of Palermo, however in a walking distance (about 50 mins) from the main attractions. The place is clean, there was a room service every day. There is a very convenient free parking in the private area of the accomodation.
There is a shared kitchen, however with basically no equipment - two little pots which cannot be used for the induction hob and one grill pan. No sharp knives and just two small plates. The accomodation is rather simple and not exactly cosy.

It was nice and the staff was extremely helpful and accommodating. We arrived much later than expected and they opened the facilities for us anyway. The room was big and clean and had air conditioning. It was excellent value for the money. I would go back there again
The area around the Casa per ferie is a bit dark and dirty and we had to walk back at night. That is a problem with the city of Palermo, though.

Nice that we could park the car inside the yard. Spacious clean room with nice bathroom.
It was a bit hard to find the entrance as the address on Maps throws you where the school is. The entrance of the reception is on the main street, before turning right towards the end point that Maps will give you, it's a "grill" brown fence with automatic doors (thought it might be helpful for future bookers).

the property was clean.
first, they have limited hours. we unfortunately were delayed by our cancellation of our flight. we could not reach the property on time. we had to get a different hotel for the night. Due to the lateness on the flight we did not arrive till 3 am and ended up walking the streets till they opened at 10 am. I’m vaccinated in America and therefore our paper work is different. I had no problems traveling Europe until we came to this place. the lady was horribly rude to us. my cousin green pass expired a couple hours before. Mind you that we had paid. she refused us entry till both of us get tested. since I’m vaccinated I’m exempt from the need to get tested. if, I wanted to stay we had to do this, because there is no refund. we been up for over a day then we spent an 10 hours in line waiting for our results. That lady didn’t show any compassion to situation. top of that they charged us for a day we were not there. I would have been totally understanding if the place was booked and they are no rooms. that was far from the case. they could have forward a day to us. The internet connection was bad and did not work the first day we were there. The shower was super small and I’m not that big of a person. The keys are a pain and you had to call them to open the gate. they turned a school into a hotel. So for some reason with all the space they had they were worried about Covid.
