I stayed at the Mercure central Palermo, and my friend and I were allocated a very large room with a great bathroom and an extra living room. I couldn't be happier and more grateful. We spent 4 marvellous days at the Mercure and the breakfast is very good, I recommend it.

Location was good. Walking distance to some of the sites, restaurants and shopping.
Staff suggested that I order a cab from them to pick us up from the airport. Cab never showed up. Staff said that they had to charge me for the cab anyway.
There were dozens of cabs in front of airport.

There was at least a kettle and tea/coffee making facilities.
It was generally dinghy and dark and the bathroom needed a facelift.

I had a double room with a terrace and it was perfect as it had so much light. Good range of options for breakfast, great location and lovely staff.

Posizione, struttura, stanza comoda pulita ed accogliente, nuova ampia e funzionale. Ottima colazione. Ci tornerò sicuramente.
Nel plesso distaccato, nonostante il letto fosse comodissimo, ho faticato a dormire per via di un rumore costante metallico /elettrico proveniente dal torrino dell'ascensore (credo) che è andato avanti per tutta la notte senza sosta. Come se si avviasse una sorta di autoclave. In stanza lo si percepiva Chiaramente.
Ultima cosa: assenza di grucce in stanza.

O quarto é extremamente pequeno e para piorar ficamos em um quarto adaptado! Por falta de opção! Foi horrível! Se for de carro, prepare-se para esperar mais de uma hora para chegar o seu carro! Quase perdemos uma reserva!

Al check-out ho avuto la sorpresa di vedermi addebitare una cifra ben superiore a quanto pattuito.
Purtroppo al momento del check-in ho firmato un foglio in cui è stato ambiguamente riportato il prezzo della nuova camera assegnata che in fattura è stato aggiunto al prezzo della stanza originariamente prenotata. In pratica ho pagato circa l'80% in più.

Location and staff was responsive when I asked for an air freshener for the foul smell in the room
Everything else - it smelled like sewage everywhere but the shower was worse. There was mold in the shower. They couldn’t turn on the air because it was winter so it was very warm in the room and the only way we could ventilate it was by opening the balcony door. It was absolutely disgusting and no one should stay here. I left after one night and went to a different hotel.

The location of the hotel near by the city centre
Hotel room wasn’t in the same building, it was in the building across the street.
The room we requested was a queen bed and when we got in the room it was two single bed. They kindly offered a drink while they were fixing the issue.
The edge of the shower were broken, while taking a shower the bathroom got all floor wet.
Also the the bathroom door got issues and it got broken. They fixed in the day.
The staff wasn’t pleasant, kinda appeared judgy (gay couple).
The interns of the room were very modern.
Breakfast isn’t included, but it’s very generous and good.
