-Communication prior to the stay
-i got the door codes on time
-way to expensive for this room size
-feels like a prison, absolute no space
-consfused about checkout time (cleaning service wanted to clean when I was still checked-in. Probably no communication between management and employees. Also they conformed late check out first and reminded me after to check out early
-AC didn't work; worker entered the room without permission (I got notified via booking.com)
-no storage for luggage
-no shower room at the same level. I had to go downstairs everytime. One shower room is shared with up to 7 other rooms.
-no possibility to wash the hands at the toilet on 4th floor
-bed matress seems to be quite old
-bad smell when I entered the room (almost like wet dog). They didn't really follow up on that after I reported on that
-fotos use an fish eye angle to pretend the rooms where bigger and nicer. Pictures are not accurate.

The room was modern and clean. The room was as advertised, and the bathrooms were acceptably clean. My room was furnished with a microwave, toaster, coffee brewer, and fridge, allowing me to make a simple breakfast. It's a good place to stay if you need a private place close to the city without breaking the bank. The host was easy to reach by text messaging, and was very kind and helpful.
As many have said before, this place is pretty loud even at night. My room faced the highway and rail corridor, and the window had poor sound insulation. Also, this place didn't have a front desk or lobby, which confused me and didn't allow me to keep my suitcase at the place on day of check-out.

The location is great! Walking distance from Back Bay. Good restaurants and shops in the area. Fairly safe and comfortable area to walk around.
Bed was nice and comfy.
Good temperature and air con.
I appreciated the clear abd consistent communication regarding my booking.
Honestly it was quite run down. Not as clean and fresh as it looks in the pictures. Staircase was slanted and felt a little unstable. Wall paper and paint was peeling everywhere. Mould build up in bathroom. Rust and stains on walls and in corners of the room. Carpet was dirty.

Sheets were filthy, found black hair all over (& we both have blond hair) place needs a a complete remodel, mattress uncomfortable , not much I can say that would make me go back or recommend.

The room is clean and location is great, near downtown.

Not so clean and the restroom is shared with many people at least 4.

My rooms breaker often tripped.

Super easy to check in/out with text message and a pin to the door. I think my main plus is that you are in a great location - walking distance to the park and back bay station. It was quite clean, but could use some fresh paint in the bathroom and rooms. My room felt safe with two door locks - included a tiny fridge, microwave, towels, bedlinens, TV, WiFi. The floor I was on shared a bathroom with four other rooms/units.
It could use a touch up to just freshen up the rooms. Also, if you don't mind noise, you'll be fine. I could hear the doors closing/opening but also when people would walk up the stairs. Also, Friday night was more noisy as well. For the price you pay though and the old building - I think it evens out. No elevator in my building, so if you are on the top floor be prepared to get some exercise walking up with your suitcase.

Good location
The host, very poor communication, got charged an extra night that I wasn't there.
Very noisey floors.

The location was convenient for me.
I thought I would be OK with shared bathrooms, but these were pretty gnarly. This is not the fault of cleaning staff, who came daily, but perhaps the inevitable result of 5 or 6 strangers sharing one bathroom designed for fewer people. The building was pretty noisy, too. All of this I would have put up with if it were cheaper, but for the price it is NOT worth it.

location and accessibility to the areas of Boston needed
cleaning ladies woke us up at 9am and just walked in on us. They were then quite loud in the other rooms and hallway disturbing our ability to sleep in. The TV didn’t work in our room. The overall facility looks rundown.

The bed was comfortable and the location was ideal.
The room was very small and you could hear everything going on from the outside. Ideal for a quick stay over.

Great location! The room was super cute and stylish. Very comfortable bed. Easy check in and instructions were easy to follow. Host was super responsive when I had a question. I would stay here again!

location
I was at forth floor, stairs really narrow, kind old building, seriously almost couldn’t even go all way up with my luggage, cause besides stairs narrow, it’s really dangerous to do by yourself, and trust me I’ve been many places before in my life, or they should have elevator or just make sure being clear how the stairs work at bulging, I would say DANGEROUS.

Quite big and clean
The air conditioning was noisy

none
the room was completely different from the pictures.

Location for me was great.
Shared bathroom sink needed to be bigger or have the faucet moved to an off-center location . when washing water splashes onto the floor.

It was nice that I was able to use a door code instead of collect a key, but communication was slow when I got lost between which of the three properties I was supposed to be in and figured it out myself before they responded. Despite that, the close proximity to the Bayback station and Prudential center made it worth staying.
The wallpaper was peeling up and the paint job looked rushed. There were a lot of exposed electrical cords around the room as well, and there was some exposed wood propping up the toilet to keep it level with the floor. It was a good value for the location, but it could definitely use a little refining to feel truly comfortable.

Great location.loved it.

The booking com ad is very misleading to what it actually is. This isn't really a hotel. There is no reception. No way to leave your luggage if you arrive before checking in or leave after check out. They are extremely nosy, asking you why you are coming to town and with whom. They won't give you the code to the entrance until you've answered them in detail. Cleanliness in the common area is limited. I would not recommend.
