Perfect position, good food at the hotel restaurant.
Old structure and not too clean.
2.5
The room was clean and comfortable the shower worked well. Tea coffee and biscuit facility in room was good.
The staff at breakfast ignored us, the head of the waiters was sitting on a chair swinging his leg over the arm of it with his head down on his phone even though we were standing waiting to be seated. Had to ask to be seated, had to ask for the table to be cleaned which a young teenage boy with a grubby white shirt gave one wipe and left crumbs still on the table surface. We were seated at the buffet table and a staff member from the kitchen came out carrying a large plastic see through container with baked beans and then proceeded to empty the buffet hot beans into the cold container which must have been going back into storage!!! I couldn’t then eat my cooked breakfast it looked awful the eggs had blotches in them. I decided just to make toast from the rotary toaster they had but had to ask for bread and marmalade and butter and milk for coffee the coffee was stewed it tasted like the days before. Awful breakfast everything felt unclean and what we paid for the hotel £280.00 for one night!

Alles sehr schmutzig, Zimmer, Gläser, Besteck und Geschirr.

Nice location. Room size and en-suite facilities perfectly adequate.
Visit ruined by the cheap lumpy mattresses on the beds, which were impossible to sleep on, just ticking over springs with no padding. When we complained after the first night they simply turned the mattress, which did not help.

Polish receptionist wasn't exactly welcoming on check-in, breakfast service was very inefficient; food was not replenished promptly, tables were not cleaned and reserved signs were placed for guests who will only be showing up at dinner time.

The hotel was in a nice location.
The room was very old and tired, wasn’t clean and smelled. Apart from bed made and fresh towels, the room was filthy.
2.5
everything a bit run down. Rooms and bathroom not entirely clean. Large tour groups dominate the hotel and leave the breakfast room and buffet in a mess.

not so clean ; breakfast; bad coffee

Nice town on the water, rooms were a decent size.
Staff were incredibly rude and unhelpful especially in the restaurant. Seemed to be confusion between reception and restaurant on whether bookings were needed. Breakfast below average.

Location
Shown to a room that had not been cleaned. Staff poorly trained. Did not understand issues with cross contamination of gluten free foods and admitted this.

The location but not all rooms have a nice view.
Room had only half been cleaned. Bins had rubbish in, dirty towels left, no milk, hair on mattress protector, dirty pillows camoflaged by 2 pillow cases. Urine in the toilet. Not hoovered.
Clear glass window in the bathroom.
Hotel smells strongly of cigarettes.
Double beds are tiny.
Screws and other harmful mess in the car park.
Spoke to reception. Manager ...wife- apologised but nothing more. Mangers husband..."oh you'll have to speak with my wife because I don't know how to use the computer systems. I have since emailed requesting a 50% discount but been ignored.

Great view out over the Skye crossing, the receptionist and staff couldn't have been nicer. Room was spotless and very comfortable and the food at dinner and breakfast was delicious and well presented.
Parking while probably good normally was inadequate when a coach and a Large motor cycle party are staying. I had to park in the local church carpark on the Saturday night with the car full of out holiday luggage. I was worried about the car being broken in to, luckily nothing happened. Room though good enough for us was looking tired and in need of a refurbishment.

Big hotel easy to find on the strip facing the sea. Car park is at the rear but not signposted – we were assured by the receptionist we could park anywhere, even on a coach designated bay as no coaches were expected, but were boxed in overnight. Luckily the owner left minutes before we had to. Comfortable and quiet rooms away from the front section. Unstaffed bar but good selection of wines. Dinner was in a large room overlooking the bay with lovely views. Food good but overly complicated – what happened to ordinary fresh battered cod? Breakfast – generic cooked sort. Staff seemed more interested in talking to each other than serving guests. We were generally unimpressed and felt it was too expensive for what we got. But maybe it being a Sunday at the end of tourist season had to do something with it.
Better information on parking. Indifferent waiters.

Friendly, helpful receptionist. Good location.
I was leaving early next morning and unable to get the breakfast meal included in the price.
No offer of a packed meal was made to me.

Given key for our room and it was not cleaned after last person. No phone in room. For breakfast staff member disappeared and no hot water in boiler to make tea. No bowls available for cereal. Worst hotel ever that we stayed in. Would give it a 1 star.
5.0
the price, the staff, the food, the location. I couldn't fault it. Thank you :)

We did not have breakfast as we needed an early departure to catch a ferry, but our evening meal was traditional home cooking which we really enjoyed.
We would have liked to be offered a take away breakfast.

Good breakfast and views from the hotel
Not the cheapest for a basic twin room
1.5
The food was acceptable.
The waitress was nice and polite.
The location was ok.
The reception didn't seem to know what they were doing regarding booking tables for an evening meal, even though we asked several times at check in and was told to ring before arrival.
The room was dark old and dirty, dust on headboard and radiators.
The restaurant wasn't too clean with dusty chairs and dirty windows.
Not value for money at £145 a night, then were told breakfast was extra...

Everything, service with a smile & a laugh
2.5
location, decent selection for breakfast, kind staff
screeching elevator behind wall of the room, very hot cannot be regulated, horible shower in attic room (diagonal ceiling and wall), small room with no space to open suitcase fully, too soft beds, water running somewhere near the room could be heard all night long
3.5
It was a last minute booking and the room was comfortable. Located very close to other pubs for dinner. It has place to park the car outside.
The bathroom has to be closed or else the fire alarm in the room is activated by the shower vapor.
They ask for a time slot for breakfast but when we arrived the table was not ready, even though half of the room was empty, the personnel was not so profesional

Worst room I have ever stayed in and I have traveled the world in some very poor countries
Never again unbelievable poor quality should be ashamed calling bespoke

location
Shower ran out of water so didn’t get a shower, told the staff and they couldn’t resolve the issue we were told that there was no water left in the tank - ridiculous for a hotel not to have water available. The shower was very small, my partners head was above the cubicle and couldn’t move a lot even though we didn’t get to use it.
When we first arrived there was a dog at reception which kept growling at us, I like dogs but this is unprofessional.
The bedroom door lock couldn’t unlock it without help, it took us several attempts each time to unlock the door.
I paid £165 for the room and would not pay that again. Was extremely disappointed in the hotel.
4.0
Good breakfast.
Friendly staff
Good location
Meals could have been served later.
Room was pretty basic for price - would have expected a better decor - very dated
