The Old Post House is a lovely b&b in a really sweet village. Sue and Andy were wonderful hosts, and made us all feel very welcome. Our room was huge - fitting a family of four brilliantly! breakfast was great and they were so kind to look after my daughter’s need for non-dairy milk too!

The property was very clean and the hosts were friendly, helpful and welcoming. My room was spacious, comfortable and well appointed. The location was good, not far from Dartmoor but accessible by public transport from Exeter.

Everything- generous sized bedroom and comfortable sitting room for guests.
Nothing.

It was very cold outside but the house was warm. The beds were comfortable. There were plenty of power points. We had Room 1, where the en suite was unusually spacious, which was really nice. Everywhere was extremely clean. We particularly appreciated that there was a lounge where we could sit at any time of day. The breakfasts were good.
The ceiling light in our room was very dim. There were two good bedside lamps, but for reading in the room the lighting wasn't quite adequate. However, we did have the lounge.

Clean room, good bed, great breakfast: suited my requirements, perfectly.

Room was very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. There was a choice of places to get a meal in the evening. Good food at reasonable prices. A lovely location at the edge of Dartmoor.

Ideal location in the centre of the village. Andy & Sue made us and our Labrador very welcome, such a friendly couple. Great breakfast as well 😁.

This was overall the best of six places I stayed on this trip. Lovely, spacious room, nicely furnished, and clean. Nice bathroom, good shower, towels. Breakfast was marvellous, berries, yogurt, and for cooked I was given a whole string of tomatoes on the vine, a lovely surprise. Location is handy for town centre.
Nothing really. I always prefer there to be onsite parking, but this public parking was an easy walk up the street and free overnight. Host kindly got me into WiFi.

Enjoyed the breakfast, good choice and fresh fruit was a bonus, have stayed here before, Andy and Sue friendly and knowledgeable, hotel set in a small town with good choice of restaurants close by, ideally located in Dartmoor.
Nothing really, good value for money

Owners were very friendly and the bed was extremely comfortable. Location was excellent.

Decent guesthouse with a typical British fry-up in the morning. Public parking no issue. Chatty management.
Moretonhampstead is not as secluded as other villages in the moor. It has a good few restaurants, but is was still impossible to get a warm meal at 7:30pm on a Sunday. Travellers are advised to plan ahead.

Easy stopover on way to Cornwall. Lovely bright room & friendly owners.
Advice would be to pre book dinner in a local restaurant before arrival as they get booked up. We had no mobile signal so had to tour around to find availability.

Very clean bright and warm room. The hotel is in the centre of the town. Hosts are friendly and helpful people.
We enjoyed the welcome and the stay. Definitely recommend.
The venue doesn't have a parking space: you can stay for free overnight across the road or on the parking (100 meters away). But in the daytime, the parking should be paid and only coins are accepted (no cards).

nothing - was lovely

Andy and Sue were great hosts and very helpful my family also stayed and had dietary issues which they were happy to accommodate.
The only thing stopping me giving this venue a 10 was lack of parking, but even that wasn't really a hardship as 50/100 metres up the road was a car park and £4 buys you 24 hours.

Hosts were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was amazing! Lots of choice and they were happy to accommodate us with non dairy milks and veggie sausages. Lovely family room with comfy beds and a fantastic view over Dartmoor. Thank you!
