Continental breakfast delivered to your door the night before - doubled up as a midnight snack!
Not a lot, good value for money, good location, lovely staff, ample parking
3.8
Plenty of parking spaces
The lingering smell from the kitchens that lasted hours and all night noise from freezer /generators that even permeated through into my ear plugs. I couldnt open a window because of these factors. You gave me no orior notice that either of these could occur. Also meals stopped serving at 8. 30 p m. So so disappointed with the Beeches. How about some remuneration for such a rotten stay?

Clean and value for money
Didn’t get a lot of sleep as it was very noisy. Room had no double glazing and was next to some kind of generator which was loud all night. Also lots of road noise and huge crashing when they decided to empty the bottle bins at 6am

The shower flows really well with good pressure which is absolutely fine, but the drain feels small as the water drains out slowly making it look like a pool in the shower.
Kindly have a look at this

Nice room and amazing breakfast, top quality
Only the fact that there was a noisy fan outside

Very nice comfortable small room with twin beds, small en-suite well laid out with good shower unit with plenty room for even large gentleman.
Excellent meal in the evening at good price.
There breakfast hours 9.00 - 11.00am, as we rise at 7.00am and wanted to be on the road home we left at 8.30am and missed breakfast , unable to find any staff so we left our key in the door?

Our meal before going to the B&B was very enjoyable
The room was clean and the bed comfortable
The window was impossible to close
No towel rails and the sink was unhygienic with no plug nor trap for hair etc. could easily lose ones toothbrush down the hole!
The second morning we had no breakfast delivered overnight (in a basket) and could not get hold of anyone to assist us. We had to go without.
No response from Beeches from previous review we were asked for.
Nothing in the room to tell us details of fire escape, WiFi, who to contact, about the local area etc. A poor experience I'm afraid.

Adequate left outside door first day good second day not so good.
Toilet needs attention.Dripping after flushing.Toilet door didt close .Also refused a drink at 9.15 .on both nights returning to rooms.Hospitality very poor.Given key told where to go,maybe shown would be better.

Almost everything, lovely little place to stay
Not to keen on the breakfast idea, would be more ideal to be able to pick or even choose the night before the items wanted. unfortunately as a fussy eater most of the items I in the basket I was not keen on.

Friendly, great location walking distance to town. Lovely breakfast would stay again!!
No dislike lovely place.

Lovely welcome. Great early breakfast provided. Extremely clean and comfortable. We ate in the restaurant and the meal was great.
The only thing that I could find fault with is the hum from the restaurant air conditioning was annoying in the room that I was in.

The staff in the pub were lovely.
No toiletries and listening to the hand dryer in the pub toilets were aggravating. Bring above the garden could have been nice apart from the fact that I don’t smoke, I made up for my abstinence by inhaling more second hand smoke in one evening than I thought was reasonable.

Food was fine and staff attentive.
Room was quite small. Breakfast was disappointing. Last orders at the bar called at 9.50pm.

Great little place for one night for us... attached to a public house. Just on the edge of town. Cafe 5 mins walk away.
All good...

The Bedroom was in a next door building to the pub with its own entrance door.
The bedroom and bathroom were clean and comfortable.
Breakfast basket with croissants, drinks, fruit and porridge left outside the bedroom door for breakfast.
Room was small, acceptable for a 1 night stay.
View from the bedroom window was onto a flat roof which had an old picnic table and various items left on it

Visiting friends in Ashby. Location was perfect. Room was very clean and comfortable. Continental breakfast was a nice touch. Had a meal in the pub which was really nice. Lovely pub and good atmosphere. Friendly staff.
A chair in the room as it was big enough to have one in there. I like sitting on the bed but my hubby prefers to sit in a chair when eating, watching TV etc.

Location suited me well for my work appointments next day. Arrived lates so did not try the food and left early and continetal breakfast was left.
Very noisy room above main external fridges that seemed to run all night and room had no AC so had to leave window open. Breakfast left was very basic and okay.
