Fantastic location in a historic building within walking distance to all of the historic district. Secure building with good attention to security. Very friendly and helpful staff with a great breakfast. Highly recommend. They will do anything possible to make your stay enjoyable.

It was in the perfect location to be near great things and places.
Just the toilet seat. It was loose. Maybe an extra roll of toilet paper would be nice.

Wonderful location with helpful and friendly staff. Awesome breakfast!

The hotel was beautiful! Very nice decor and well kept. The breakfast was delicious and fun to learn more about local fruits. They kindly stored our luggage for us before our flight as we spent the day exploring. Also the wifi was working and fast.
No complaints! It does get a bit hot on the second floor but the temperature in the room was fine.

Very good breakfast, beautiful hotel, and friendly staff.

Good location close to plazas. Host at reception was very pleasant.
Very basic. Bed uncomfortable, towels were like sandpaper. No safe in room

Great location. Beautiful historic building. Nicely done rooms. Welcoming and attentive staff. Breakfast was great.
Breakfast hours started at 7 am. We were only able to sit down for breakfast one morning because of earlier departure on the other mornings because of tours or when we were flying out, which was a real shame since it was nicely presented.

The staff is very kind and nice. Lucia makes a different breakfast every day with a new local fruit/vegetable and tells you about them - that is really great. They are all friendly and helpful with booking taxi etc.
Unfortunately, the building is old which makes every activity happening around in the building really loud. There were people going in and out in the night/early mornings, and that woke us up every day. I understand the reason is that it is an old building, but a good idea would be to isolate the room's doors a bit.

In the historic old town section of Quito, the entire hotel is a beautiful, renovated hacienda style courtyard building built around 1846, and that used to be a single family residence...it' boasts tenants such as the Vice President of Ecuador many years ago.
It is family run and they are on-site. A super sweet and kind family. We were in Quito during the 2022 indigneous protests that shut the city down and they helped us figure out what we could do in the city and what we couldn't. They arranged all our transportation in the middle of this crisis. They were calm and realistic, and funny too, about what was happening outside the doors of the hotel.
And here's the kicker...The mom, Luisa, makes the included breakfast everyday, and it is multi-course and delicious... with fresh made juice highlighted by a specific Ecuadorian fruit or vegetable that Luisa tells you about as she serves it. And she is in traditional dress...lovely.

This is a beautiful former home. The family that owns the property take great pride in welcoming guests and insuring that their stay will be an excellent experience. Breakfast was great and we learned about a "tree tomato" that is used to msake juice. Lucky is the traveler who stayes at this wonderful place.
I wish we could have stayed longer!!!

In a restored, historic building, stairs and creaky floors are inevitable. Luis and Lucia were so warm, welcoming and helpful that it was a minor issue, and the breakfast was a delight every morning, as was conversation with Lucia.

A fabulous location, beautiful property, amazing creative meals, and the most professional staff and guides!
you have to understand you are in the Amazon not the Ritz in NYC. it’s hot, you will sweat, you can’t swim in the lagoon because there are caiman and piranhas- it’s all part of the adventure!

We stayed in Quito for one night coming back from the Galapagos. Casa Hotel Las Plazas helped us with airport transportation, as well as making dinner reservations. Their staff is very attentive and responsive to guest needs. We stayed over the holidays and they made sure the guest security guard walked us to dinner due to the crowds.

Right in old town so you can walk to all the sites. very lovely family run hotel. very comfortable beds and rooms. I loved my balcony. excellent breakfast made with love and care by the owner. I felt as if I was at home. The son/ manager took me on a wonderful day trip to local towns for markets and beautiful scenery. I would definitely return.
