Beautiful apartment, ideally situated/ close to the station and a short walk into city centre

Location and size especially the three bathrooms

Unable to offer earlier check in or later check out This was particularly disappointing on a Sunday - most hotels offer a later checkout on a Sunday 10:00 am is very early We were told this is to allow for cleaning but if the next weren’t checking in until 4:00 pm this gives a VERY long time to clean ☹️

Photos don’t do property justice! It’s an ‘upside down’ property which we weren’t aware of but it added to its charm!!

Own entrance, underfloor heating, parking and easy walk into centre!!

Beautiful apartment in a perfect location

The location was perfect, a nice quiet street and a space for parking right outside the door, the keys were available via a key safe which then led us down a wee path into a cute courtyard and adjacent was the apartment, when we opened the door it was a wow moment as it led into a huge open kitchen/Lounge/dining area, which was perfect for my wee grandson to run around. The bedrooms were located downstairs along with a bathroom with a toilet and a shower room were all lovely and clean, though a few cobwebs in the bathroom but none the less the apartment overall was beautiful and I would certainly stay again.

Only one criticism is that extractor hood in the Kitchen could of done with a clean filter.

Wonderful short break

Spacious, comfortable and homely! The location is great, easy to walk anywhere. The parking a huge bonus for our stay. Recommend this apartment

Love it!

Extremely nice and spacious apartment. Love the kitchen and dining area and the spacious living room. Bedrooms were very spacious as well. Very comfortable for our family of five. Staff answered any questions we had via WhatsApp very promptly. Convenient location as well. Short walk to city centre.

The flat is located in the quiet part of city centre, 10 minutes from train station on foot and 10 minutes from shambles which was super convenient for us (a family with a baby and a 4 year old). It's very spacious, and cosy, the kitchen and dining area are magnificent and contain all high quality kitchenware. The staff are very pleasant and responsive and overall impression is perfect! Very much recommended!

Well situated, modern property.

Location great, parking great, accommodation was spacious, clean and nicely decorated. High chair and travel cot available. Clean and modern. Good quality washing machine and dishwasher.

Something to hang clothes on to dry and a gate for the stairs down to the basement for the baby would have really finished this off for our longer family stay - but they are two small things in an otherwise excellent property.

Exceptional

Loved the apartment and had everything you needed and more! Clean and really modern and cosy. Great location with shops and bars in walking distance. Great host with up to date information and replies to any questions in minutes. Loved our stay and would recommend to anyone looking for a stay in York. Didn't want to leave. Thankyou

Superb

Lovely open plan living. Lots of pots and pans are available to cover cooking needs. Came with a stash of toilet roll, soap, and shower gel, which was a very nice touch. As well as some washing up liquid, sponge, tea towel, dishwasher tablets, and extra bin bags.

Steep narrow stair case down to the bedrooms. Information book says you can adjust underfloor heating. However, this isn't the case (which I understand and appreciated the halogen heater).

Very spacious, well equipped and comfortable property in an excellent location.

The information booklet implied that the heating of the apartment could be controlled using the thermostat on the wall. This was not possible and the thermostat was locked and set at 17 degrees in the large living dining space. Unfortunately, this mean that the living space was cold in the evenings. There was a wood burner but a sign asking us not to use it. This is a little patronising. We also had no hot water on one morning despite the information booklet stating that the hot water was on permanently and would only take 30 minutes to heat up. The apartment is great but the information in the booklet misleading and this should be changed.

Exactly like the photos. Very nice place!

The house is very comfortable, clean and modern.

We just had a problem with the heating upstairs and nobody could fix it, so the host come to the house and gave us some small heaters to help. It worked fine.

Fantastic place!

The location, facilities, decor and set up was brilliant.

The heating system was tricky to work out but ok when you followed the instructions provided in the information pack but on one night I was very cold and couldn't locate the control for thr heating in the upstairs rooms. I ended up sitting in my coat to get warm.

bed in master bedroom could have been better quality. Slats appeared broken underneath the bed and the mattress was soft. No clear facility for dealing with rubbish.

Average but on the better side.

One of the cleaner apartments I have stayed in which was a nice change.

There was a funny smell coming from the kitchen sink every time I ran the water. I raised this with the owner who I happened to bump into outside. Awkwardly, he quickly and without hesitation asked my husband if he could smell it also as if my smelling capabilities weren’t good enough. The shower downstairs had really poor ventilation/fan which also left an odd smell post-shower.

Fab stay in York

The apartment was lovely, spacious and modern. It was also spotlessly clean. Great facilities throughout and great location with the benefit of the parking permit. We couldn't get the washing machine to work but on reporting this it was dealt with in less than 24hrs. Great stay all round!!!

There was nothing not to like about the apartment itself....the only thing we struggled with was knowing where to put our rubbish at the end of the stay. There were a couple of bins in the courtyard but we didn't know which one was ours.

Enjoyable stay but would think twice about staying in properly again because of the stairs

There was loads of space and it was very well equipped

There was no mention of the step narrow staircase leading down to the bedrooms and someone with limited mobility would struggle as I did with bad ankles. The sofas are very low and hard to get up from.
