Ideal for the New Forest and Bournemouth beaches. Excellent Indian restaurant next door !
Nothing to dislike

The heater was doing a great job! Also nice that there was enough parking space, and it was included. Very nice for on the go!
Nothing really, all was fine!

As a family of 3 we were put in a room with just a standard double bed. There was no one on reception and we couldn’t sleep due to creaky floorboards, slamming of doors, people talking and TV
Playing. The walls are very thin and not sound proof. Rooms are overpriced for what you get.

Lovely and clean plenty of hot water! helpful friendly staff. Really handy fridge in room great when you travel with kids who always need a snack. Lovely curry house next door that we ate in the lodge lobby plates and cutlery provided by lodge. Perfect location for the places we wanted to visit we have been twice and booked again for next year already! Highly recommend
Loud people in the hallway and in the room next to ours or above we couldn’t tell shouting till gone midnight. Room next door smoking out thier window and the smoke coming into our room was horrible. Not a reflection of the lodge itself more inconsiderate people

Nice clean room, good provisions
Noisy, room facing the main road, we only had a choice to either keep the window open or use noisy air-conditioning unit on a stuffy night

Property and room were very spacious and clean throughout. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Nice to have the fridge in the room. grandkids slept very well here and enjoyed their stay too. great location for our visit to the new forest. we will stay here again
nothing

Absolutely everything
Got a bit noisy in the morning but that was one family on one day so it would be unfair to pass too much judgement on the hotel itself for this.
4.3
It was bright and clean and peaceful.
The room had a couple of mould stains in the bathroom but other than that the property itself was fine.
4.3
the property was clean and done what we needed.
as we had children with us perhaps a park nearby would of been good but the property was brilliant.

Very nice and helpful staff, beautiful location

It is a very family friendly comfortable place. The staff is extremely helpful and went out of the way to guide us on what to do at new forest.
She also helped us how to use the heating facilities for breakfast.
Room , beds, toilets are very good
Not really. It is a basic staying place so you should not expect hotel facilities. But it is worth more than what you pay.

Really nice, cosy self catering, ideal for a few nights away for both work and leisure. Clean and nicely decorated throughout, with everything you need.
Everything was as expected.

I didn't have breakfast here but everything else was good. The room was clean. It was spacious. They had clean bathrooms. Plenty of towels. Nice hot water. Wardrobe for clothes storage. Heating was available.
They need to have a lift to get onto the second floor as travelling up and down the stairs with young children and being heavily pregnant is difficult.

plenty of room
poor wi-fi and floors not soundproof

Reception staff were lovely. Beds very comfy and shower was really good!
Very small tv in the first room I stayed in a couple of days before a return journey. There was a cheese wrapper on the floor on my first stay then last night there was a phone charger on the floor under the table.

lovely clean property
walls are thin

The loft apartment was so lovely, we had a long day with our other booking being cancelled last minute and having to find somewhere else to stay I think it was better than the place we originally booked. The lady was so lovely who called me and inform me that she would text me the codes to get in as we would be arriving later than the usual check in time. The beds were so comfy and very big, spacious apartment. We would definitely be booking again.

clean, very nice family room with fridge, good location and good setup for a stay with a 2 year old
The internet connection was very poor and constantly dropping out so we couldn’t use and as we spent the evening in because of toddler we ended up trying to sleep instead but unfortunately I didn’t get to sleep until after 1 as the people above were up so late and I could hear them very clearly.

Only staff on the premises from 3pm till 7pm.
Fire alarm went off at 2am. Everyone evacuated and we had to call for someone to come and investigate. The person said rudely that it was our room which we replied that we was asleep.
I was going to do the New forest marathon which in the end we cancelled due to lack of sleep.
Clean, nice rooms

We arrived late and didn’t have chance to meet staff, but all info was sent to my phone before we arrived and were able to easily obtain our keys to our room, slightly dated in style in places, but absolutely perfect for our needs. It was a hot weekend and we took full advantage of the fridge and cooler fan in our room. The room and facility itself had everything you could need for a nights stop over like us a longer stay. There was a vending machine in entrance with all the usual snacks and drinks you might find in one, also a microwave, dining area, hairdryer, trouser press, fridge, and fan. There was a Lovely looking Indian restaurant right next door, we didn’t take advantage of this as we had two small children with us. The nearest other simple foods we could find as it was late was 15 mins away in either direction either Southampton or Salisbury. We opted for a quick pizza, in hindsight should have just gone to the Indian next door. As it took another hour to get in and out of Salisbury with our food.
I found everything vey acceptable.
