Awful experience

The room and bed were clean. There were coffee, tea, sugar, and milk provided.

The room that was given to us was totally different from what was advertised . It was on the very top floor. Myself and my husband where claustrophobic due to the structure of the room with all the elevated ceiling. The bathrooms were shared, which was not clearly mentioned in the advert. The advert shud have mentioned no attached bathroom instead said shared bathroom which was not a clear depiction for a twin room. The cleanliness of the bathroom was also not great. One bath was being shared by 10 rooms, which is awful. One bath was broken.

Not recommended

The location was close to public transport for almost 11 min walking.

The room did not match the pictures shown online. The cleanliness of the room, toilet, and bathroom was disappointing. We were unable to sleep well for two nights due to excessive noise, including a heated argument between the owner and some residents at 1 AM, as well as loud noises from other guests at the same time.

Very disapointed. Would Never stay here again even if i was paid.

Room spacious, bed comfy.

Dump smell. No wi-fi provided. Communal area very dirty. Shared toilet which was very dirty and smelly. No handle on the door. Filthy carpets. No lamp in the room. Lights are dodgy. No soap in dispenser. Very far from the cleanliness standards. Council should have to examine this place.

The whole experience was depressing and demoralising, and very bad value for money.

The location, in the middle of Forest Gate, next to Wanstead Flats was ideal for my requirements.

The building, the communal areas, and the room itself were tired and dirty. The bedclothes were stained. (I'm assuming/hoping that they were at least clean, although it was difficult to tell.) Staff were surly and unapproachable, and I felt like I was intruding.

A room in the Inn!

Within walking distance to transportation. Good enough as a bed for a night but not for long stay. Staff was pleasant and helpful. Overall, it met my needs for the night.

Shared bathroom. Small, compact room. Could do with some TLC.

Very poor even at that price. The stair carpet was frayed and overall, the place was in a poor state

I didn't eat the breakfast as the place was not particularly clean and not somewhere I wanted to eat.

The first room had tape on the walls, poor cleanliness and generally in a poor state. The shared bathroom didn't even have a working lock. I was moved to another room with a shower which should have been better but sadly, the shower didn't work!

Very poor

The way out

The rooms were nothing like the pictures, no one about to see at night, we had bed bugs, had to stay in the double room 5 of us, due to our triple room bed bugs, I booked two rooms a double and triple, I had 3 children with me, it was not clean our flooring some missing no handle on one tap at sink, big hair ball in the corner outside the shower, head board was dirty bed bug in it, we sprayed perfume to kill the bugs, baby ones on our pillows, killed 3 big ones put each one on a separate face pad, had to book train home on the Saturday, we arrived only on the Friday and our stay was for 2 days, never been in such a awful place, says hotel nowhere for the kids to go, as it was a bar, they were not allowed in there, not suitable for children.

there’s nothing to like about this property.

The girl in the reception is astonishingly rude with no concentration. she’s racists and Always playing games even when there are customers to attend to. The room and bathroom is so dirty. the bedsheets and towels had stains, there holes on the wall and you keep hearing noises from the roof. I will never go here again.

Room wasn't value for money!

Staff who attended to us was a very nice lady and helpful.

Needs improvement new bed, clean bed linen, room should have been cleaned before we arrived also the room felt very cold.

Exceptional

Amazing breakfast, lovely staff and very comfortable bed in my light and airy budget room. Gorgeous Victorian pub downstairs- a real piece of history. Love the area too- lots of green space down the road in this truly vibrant and friendly part of London.

Shower not the best. TV didn’t seem to work. Could be spruced up but generally nice and clean
