Good location, near the central park, the rooms are good for the price, friendly hotel staff, there is hot water in the shower and sink.
Upon arrival the room smelled damp which improved by opening the window all day, smell of sewage on the stairs, the pillows are not very comfortable.

Location was perfect, staff was friendly and helpful, the hotel room was comfortable and a very great value.
The only thing I didn’t like was that I requested a fan because it was slightly noisy to sleep with the door open all night for air circulation, and I was told that the fans were only provided for rooms without a balcony. But we were still comfortable enough but the fan really would’ve helped.

I loved the suite room I reserved. The room included two balconies overlooking the city. The location is perfect for walking and the zocalo is less than a 10 minute walk away.
The lighting was a bit dim, but otherwise it was fine.

Horrible noize from the street, awful pillows

It’s very centrally located. The room was comfortable enough for the night.
The room was very basic. It would have been nice to have a fridge in the room.
9.0 / 10.0
Exceptional location a block from the Zocalo, comfortable beds with enough blankets to stay warm when it cools off at night, solid bathrooms and hot water, and a balcony with newer doors that mostly muffle any street noise. Not much not to like about it, really.
For those looking to work remotely the WiFi gets spotty in the evening (presumably from heavier demand) and as with many of these types of older buildings interior noise can echo a bit.

Clean and nice hotel, perfect location right in the centre.

Beds were comfy and WiFi worked well. You can get hot water from reception but they need to boil it using microwave. There is floor towels.
Noise, of which there were 3 sources. First from the laundry or at least that is what we were told, it sounded like ventilation and were pretty loud, ends after midnight and starts around 8plus in the morning. Secondly from the central space between the rooms, anyone talking or making some other noise in that space you can almost hear the whole conversation. Surprisingly you can't hear someone in your own bathroom. Thirdly from the traffic, which with the outer glass which is somewhat sound proof it was not that bad. Too bad that wasn't done for internal windows or room door. Fumes from passing vehicle enters the central space but fortunately not the rooms. The reception forgot the booking is for the much bigger twin room and assign us a double room until reminded.

overall it’s a nice and comfortable hotel. Nice that they have a sort of living room, which was now decorated Christmas style.
- great central location one block away from the Zocalo.
- nice comfortable beds
- handy that it includes parking in a safe location (a parking garage)
- good shower
- double glazed windows, so even though we were facing the street almost no street noise (however, the door insulation is not so good, so in the evening some noise from the “living room” area.
overall not much negative! Just two small things:
- it would have been nice if they just provide a water station where you can refill bottles instead of providing two tiny plastic bottles of water. We were 4 people, so that is anyways impossible to divide, but I also find it a bit wasteful. Same for towels and soap: we hung our towels and they still all got replaced and the soap we had used once also got thrown away and replaced. I understand this can be seen as luxury, but I find it unnecessary and a bit wasteful.
- there was coffee to take, which is nice. would be nice to also add warm water for tea.

Very central location
I was happy to have a room at the back, because there is a lot of traffic noise in the street.
The room was quite small

Great location, comfy bed. Staff was helpful supplying a chair which was lacking in the room.
Orientation of rooms with halways/courtyard makes it quite noisy. Room lacks good chair and/or desk. Staff was helpful in trying to add those upon request.

It is VERY noisy from both the outside and the other rooms. Staff don’t speak English well. In only 2 days we had both a wifi and a hot water problem. Room is good, nice view and rather confortable. Bad small though. Good location. It’s fine for the low price you pay.
