Breakfast was good, friendly service

We had an excellent stay. Our room was very clean and well decorated. Good choice of breakfast made with quality produce. Restaurant facilities were of a very high standard with a wide ranging menu. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
4.1
Breakfast was good, various choices available.
My Husband would have eaten a larger breakfast.
4.1
Good breakfast and excellent evening meals.

The building and setting was lovely. The room was good - clean, tidy and well decorated. We had a lovely evening meal - good food and great service. The cooked breakfast was good for me but not for my wife.
The room was not very private as it was on the ground floor right by the the entrances and cleaning cupboard so we had to keep drawing the curtains when we wanted to change clothes. My wife would prefer a continental option for breakfast.

Breakfast was very good, no complaints at all. We loved the quirkiness of staying in an actual Oast House, the round room, round bed, nicely furnished and very comfortable.
4.1
Pleasant enough stay. Fun to stay in a oasts house but felt more like staying in a pub than a charming oasts House. As you walk in there is an overwhelming smell of old cooking fat.
I was particularly alarmed when the breakfast chef came out of the kitchen. His clothes weren’t on properly, they were very dirty, his hands and nails were filthy. He looked very unhygienic and then when my sandwich came out, there was clearly finger prints in the bread - it all made it quite unappetising.

The room was very clean and the bed comfortable, it made a pleasant change to have breakfast prepared to order rather than collecting from a buffet.
4.1
Friendly staff, comfortable room, food good, location good, building is beautiful
Breakfast staff seemed grumpy, shower had poor water pressure, bathroom had a clear window overlooking car park with no blind,

! Breakfast was an average full English. Tasty but nothing special! Room was comfortable and warm. DIinner Friday evening was good. Staff were friendly and helpful.
Lack of brown bread. Coffee was bad. We had to go straight out after breakfast and buy a decent coffee! Room in the annexe was noisy. We heard every drawer open, every toilet flush, every time the tap turned on.

This was such a fantastic place to stay. When we got in, everyone was expecting us. The staff could not have been lovelier! Everyone introduced themselves and made sure we were all booked in to eat dinner and knew about breakfast. We were taken up to our room, where they had turned the heat on in advance for us so we would be toasty when we got there as it was a cold and rainy night. The room was excellent, everything was clean and tidy and just so homey and comfy. We had dinner in the restaurant and it was lovely and candlelit-and I really appreciated that they had vegetarian and vegan options. It's just a wonderfully historic and quirky place to stay that's being well maintained by people who love it- and we loved it too! It's my new favourite place and we are definitely planning another trip!
There is zero I didn't like. It was really excellent!

Very clean
Didn’t realise that the television was Free View, just thought we only had radio on the Tv. Maybe this could be mentioned in the book that’s in the room.

My daughters and I had a pleasant lovely time. The staff were so friendly and Kim gave us the warmest welcome ever. When we are back in Rye, we would love to come back. The decor of the room was so lovely and having dinner there was delicious.

Breakfast- We didn't take advantage of the "Full English" but that was only because we could not have eaten it all and would have been a waste!!
Dinner- Not required but we did have sandwiches and a large glass of wine. That seemed a little pricey but was enjoyed.
Room- Was part of the "theme" I guess and was okay. But the bed needs replacing far to noisy!!
Now not sure how to place this but one person did the job of receptionist, bartender and waitress. the person coped well and assured us we would get their attention shortly but there were obvious delays. It is not my business but if I did return to this venue I would like to see this point "Improved"'

Lovely circular room with all facilities. Dinner was basic pub grub. Breakfast was fine - full English if you wanted it with cereals/yogurt and orange juice provided as well.

Staff were superb and very friendly.
Room was clean, tidy, and warm.
Bed was very comfortable.
I don't have any issues to raise.
4.1
Size of room/bed, lots of coffee and tea in room, big breakfast, parking space, warm room during winter, friendly welcome
No sitting room for guests - we were a group and the only place to meet was the restaurant or bar which thankfully, stayed open until late.
