Nice garden. Great views from the rooftop. Good location close to the Zocalo. Helpful staff. Warm shower. Nice breakfast included in the very reasonable price
Quite noisy at night - traffic and keys of people outside
5.0
Stuff, breakfast and comfortable bed
Bed next to the street, noisy

The location is good. The breakfast exceeded my expectations, and their collaboration with a good tour company made my stay much easier
The facility is really for youth groups.. and there are not many travelers, not a good place as a solo traveler

The location was great - close to shops, bars, restaurants and the main square. The staff were really kind and for the most part willing to help. Laundry was done on site for a good price (25 pesos per kg) and everything came back great. Breakfast was a variation of eggs and bread with fruit every day so it was nice to have a change (and it was always delicious)
The rooms were BOILING. This was consistent throughout the entire property it would seem judging by other people leaving their doors open for airflow but the female only dorm was horrendous. There is no airflow because the window opens into an indoor courtyard and the glass roof in the bathroom makes it like a greenhouse. There were only 2 fans for the entire hostel and although we managed to get one, it wasn’t strong enough to cover everyone’s beds in the dorm.
The dorm beds weren’t clean - mine had chewing gum stuck to the inside of the frame.
Cleaning wasn’t great - cleaners just mopped the floor quickly every morning but that meant hair wasn’t removed from the floor properly or from the plug.

Spacious room and bathroom, Extra big king size bed and full breakfast in lush garden terrace was way more than I could have asked for or expected. Close to centro historico and buses for connections to Puerto Escondido and Puebla made this an excellent choice.
Checkout time was a bit early at 11am

The staff is the best. Friendly and helpful.
Dorm mates who use loud alarm clocks early in the morning, waking everyone. Vibrate option is excellent for mindfulness of others.

good location close to zocalo. very attentive staff. solid breakfast included. beds were good. has a nice rooftop with some furniture. but all in all a rather calmer hostel, don’t expect any wild parties there. good value for money!

Filling breakfast included with fresh juice, fruit, cereal, toast and usual a mexican egg dish, served by lovely ladies. On Nov 2nd for Dia De Los Muertos there was also hot chocolate and pan de los muertos. Nice touch. Access to free filtered water 24:hours a good idea. The terrace views are amazing, especially at sunset - you can get a beer from the vending machine. Peaceful for a hostel, not just youths but close to centre and zocalo. Went on to a more fancy hotel but felt a lot more free here.

Breakfast was delicious. Ladies who made breakfast created a wonderful atmosphere for all guests in the morning with their outstanding cooking. That was by far a highlight of the stay in this hostel.
Location is great - you are just several blocks from zocalo.
We stayed for 5 nights. Neighbor from the room across from ours was watching movies all night long full blast, sometimes with an opened door?!... Felt like sleeping in a movie theater due to poor soundproofing. We commented this situation the very next morning to the administrator, things only got worse the following night. Long story short we slept 2 out of 5 nights.

Breakfast was good
Simple basic but good
No sewer odor in the bath and travel to the room
Bath did not have air extractor

The hostel is located in the center of Oaxaca and has a very good price/value. The bed and the bathroom are both very big and the price includes a good breakfast.
Sadly the hostel is located on a very loud street and the noise kept us awake.

The room was very spacious, the bed was huge and comfortable. The inn was very well located. Breakfast was good. The staff was always very kind, both at the reception and in the kitchen.
Unfortunately our room was noisier than acceptable - not sure what the other rooms were like. Also, the day we arrived there were painters working on the outer wall; they left the bathroom's window open so the bathroom's floor got dirty for our entire stay. At the last night, we had an inconvenience: we arrived very tired and there was no hot water. We complained, and it took about 2 hours for them to resolve this problem.

very nice and quite Hostal. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. A nice breakfast with eggs and fruits is included and the rooms are big and very clean. Only 5 min to the center an a nice Terrasse on the roof.
There is no kitchen for free use. The kitchen is only for the staff for preparing breakfast and it's closed in the afternoon..
The roof is big, but little shadow and it could be more coozy with some colors, plants or hamacs.

excellent location. very clean helpful and friendly staff. good breakfast, wifi, rooftop common area, and water pressure.
the room we booked wasn’t available on arrival. the replacement room was very hot. the issue was fixed the following day and we were very pleased with getting the room we had booked. could use some art on the walls.

Location is decent
If you want a cheap hostel go to Luz De Luna, avoid this place completely. It was really disorganized: the room me and my brother booked (1 double bed + 1 bunk bed) wasn't even available, the only similar room was a sweatbox with no fan that looked like a prison cell. The only other room they could give us had a double bed but they didn't bother to put any towels or even toilet roll inside. The night receptionist acted like we were inconveniencing her by asking her to actually do her job. At the end of the stay they refused to give any discount as an apology. Go somewhere where the staff and management have more than one braincell between them

location was excellent. staff very friendly, helpful, and proficient in English. rooftop patio was a bonus. very clean. breakfast was same every day but good.
Quad room we booked wasn’t available when we arrived. The replacement room was hot and stuffy. They did move us to the room we booked on the following day and we were very happy with it. could use more pics/art on walls.
9.0
Friendly staff, clean, hot shower, good breakfast and location.
Could have more of a hostel and Oaxaca vibe with colors and art on the walls and on the rooftop. The colors feels a bit like your in a daycare or hospital. Could put tables together(3-4)in the kitchen to socialize. They have a nice garden but with no place to hang out. Could put a few tables, hamac.
