Location
Value for money and lack of cleanliness

Beautiful hotel located right near the train station and across the bus pick up for Machu Picchu. The staff were attentive and held our bags after check out. Nice breakfast buffet was provided. Nice views of the river from the rooms.
4.3
Great location for access to MP bus and restaurants. Professional staff.
Booked this hotel because of the jacuzzi after 10 days of trekking and camping: treat for us. The jacuzzi was lukewarm and no idea how to turn jets on. We talked to the staff and they increased the water temp and showed us where to activate the jets; would have been nice to know initially. There was a leak in the ceiling around the shower head fixture that dropped plaster down every time we showered. Staff fixed it each time but continued to leak. No offer of a different room, nor did they seem too concerned that is was a bigger issue then just plaster falling out (internal leak in the system somewhere)

The staff was incredibly helpful and the rooms were well appointed with amazing views across the river. The location was central to everything. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience.
Nothing

The staff was absolutely fabulous. Courteous, accommodating and knowledgeable.
The spa is adequate.

I really loved the lady who checked us in. The room was great and the view fabulous. They also looked after us and made sure we had breakfast in the morning with breakfast boxes. very accommodating.
It is located on the train track albeit it is a very nice property. Not all staff are amazing it is just one person.

We were met at the train (even though it was late) by hotel staff and taken directly to the hotel. We really appreciated this since it can be chaotic at train station. Room was super quiet overlooking the river. Yes, of course you hear the train, but they stop at night. So noise was not an issue. Convenient to bus stop for Machu Picchu. They also helped us back to train station for return.
my only little nit picky thing was they didn't serve normal coffee. Only had an espresso machine. And of course you get dinged an extra charge at breakfast. I'm not a tea drinker (which they push on you everywhere in Cusco and Machu Picchu) so I did miss my morning coffee when I first wake up. The breakfast buffet was minimal but adequate.

The STAFF!!! Most notably Luis. He reminds of the staff at our current hotel the 5 star Palacio Del Inka
Booking.com could have helped with us having to depart a day earlier, due to an emergency situation. There is a government Crisis and National Emergency, and trains, airport and transportation is shut down.

Great location, close to restaurants and the train and bus station to Machu picchu. Room was nice with a comfortable bed.
Staff were really friendly and helpful.

We had a wonderful stay with a nice view on the river. The hotel is very close to the center of town with a lot of restaurants, the busstop to Machu Picchu and the trainstation is only 5minutes away.
The staff did a lot of effort to have a nice celebration for my husbands birthday. He loved the nice attention, it made the experience complete.
The breakfast was really good although the bread/toast was rather dry and hard.

The location, the lobby, the downstairs outside River area, and the rooms were beautiful. And the spa was very nice!

The location was good and the staff was helpful when we reached the hotel. The view of the river from the room was pretty nice as well and quiet at night with only the sound of the river. The room was overall clean although starting to feel not very well maintained.
Maybe it was a bit overpriced for what you get but I think that is common in any hotel in Aguas Calientes.
The breakfast buffet was sufficient but not excellent.

location.
A bit pricy

Very cute property! right by the river and the middle of the town.
The spa is very basic and the rooms on the train track side are most likely noisy but we were on the river side and it was wonderful!

Great location, nice staff. Perfect for our stay. wish I stayed one night more to take advantage of the spa which is much needed after Machu Picchu

the staff was excellent, kind and attentive. the rooms were beautiful and very clean. a great stay! the breakfast was superb.

The staff and the service were amazing. Friendly, courteous, helpful and went over and above to make our stay comfortable.
We rented two suites. One of the suites was great. The other one did not match the description in the booking, the shower had no hot water, there was no air conditioning and the room was very hot and stuffy and we were told not to open the windows because of the bugs. The concierge brought up a fan which helped somewhat but for the price of the suite the state of the facilities was not ideal.

location is very convenient to visit Machu Pichu and enjoy Aguas Calientes
