Lovely warm and welcoming stay, would highly recommend

Our host was lovely and had made a slice on our arrival. My parents are elderly and were unsure when we arrived, however we were made to feel welcome and cared for. We had a big day out the next day and when we returned soup had been made incase we were to tired to cook!

Comfortable accommodation in a quiet neighbourhood with an attentive and welcoming host.

Fiona was a very friendly and welcoming host. Our bedroom was spacious with a comfortable bed. The shared facilities included a large, well equipped kitchen and covered outdoor sitting area with views towards the harbour. A quiet, peaceful neighbourhood.

Fiona made me welcome when I arrived. Lounge and deck are most comfortable and spacious. This is a very quiet neighbourhood.

A quality and welcoming B&B set in a lush garden with a harbour view above historic Mangonui

The harbour view from the deck. Comfortable, well-appointed bedroom and shared bathroom. Fiona was very welcoming and friendly and provided a delicious breakfast.

Very homely welcoming and comfortable, great conversation, close to town Needed time out from work and this place was easy, no fuss, felt at home, Fiona was great host, great view

Amazing B&B which will not disappoint

Fiona gave us a very warm welcome and we spent a wonderful time exchanging stories with a good glass of wine. The B&B is beautiful, very comfortable and Fiona prepares a wonderful breakfast which we had with an amazing view from the terrace. This is an outstanding B&B and we hope to return soon with more time to explore Mangonui and surroundings.

Very good

Location was perfect for our stay. Our host was super nice & very informative. Her home was very nice.

Only little bug we have is the room(s) where you sleep on the ground floor, are very pleasant however, not so good when you are woken up by other guests in the bathroom expecially the bath...running water pipes are just outside the window, it was awful & the bath is just on the other side of our wall so we can hear everything.

Very quiet and nice place to stay.

Fiona is a very helpful host. The room is big and very nice as well as the shared bathroom. The breakfast on the terras with harbour view is delicious and freshly prepared by Fiona.

we felt like family.. from the minute we arrived to the minute we left.. warm hostess and her beautiful woofer.. comfortable bed.. it really felt like home

Patio views lovely

The double rooms are large, light, spacious, spotlessly clean and very comfortable with excellent bedding. The location is perfect with wonderful views of the smaller picturesque harbour. We were welcomed by the host with tea, coffee and homemade biscuits on the patio. We stayed two nights and could come and go as we pleased.

We upgraded to the two double rooms as the (value) single, though spotlessly clean, was a big step down from the other two high quality rooms. We felt the breakfast options were rather limited.

We had a lovely stay and would stay again when in the area

Views from the deck of the harbour are gorgeuos and such a lovely place to hang out and chill. The views from the bedroom were of a beautifully maintained garden. Hosts were incredibly friendly and helpful, Had great recommendations of things to do and places to eat/drink in the surrounding area. Very peaceful location.

perfect!

Fiona was a lovely host. Me, my wife and our baby boy loved it there. The only thing which could maybe be changed are the mattresses which are quite soft but I think everyone like that a little bit different.

The beautiful setting, garden and sea view. Sitting out in the deck for breakfast prepared by the host in the mornings was a lovely start to our day. We would recommend.

Warm welcome. Very comfortable, clean accommodation in a serene setting. Wonderful view. Aptly described as a 'retreat'! Great to have parking onsite and proximity to the township. A bonus to discover our shared history. Thank you both.

Beautiful stay

The view was incredible and the house was very cosy. The host was probably the best asset of this place. She was kind-hearted and easy going. She did everything to make sure we had a great time. She also baked us delicious sweets and made us quality breakfast. Would definitely recommend to stay there, alone or with a group. 😊
