Could stay in the room not as advertised.

Didn't stay in the room after we found out the problems. We had to book in at a premier Inn.

Parking was limited to 3 hours or permit holders only. TV was not working. It has power but no aerial or cable in the room. Breakfast was access to a shared kitchen. Basically a extra room in a student house. Faulty lighting, only half of the lights could be turned on due to faulty light switch. Lights hanging out of the ceiling making it dangerous. Smell of cannabis in the hall. I took a video of the room to show the issues.

Hotel from hell, dangerous place dangerous area. Avoid

I didn't get chance. I was stopped by three cars outside fu of Asian gangs. I opened the door to house and more gangs where up stairs in room five I was kidnapped on the TV room. They stole my phone and everything else. I didn't get. Chance to stay the night Avoid this place you could lose your car and your life. The most dangerous area I have ever ever been too.. Full of Asian and black gangs. They piled into the big house . Threatened me and also women inside. Please I beg you avoid this place. Police and council have been contacted. I didn't even dare stay there I had to drive away or lose my life. Not even offered a reply or refunded money. Avoid avoid avoid avoid. To dangerous....

All of it. Run by Asian gangs.

Excellent value for money, no hassle overnight stay in good sized room with en-suite

3 double beds and nice bathroom. Great for one night stop over in Manchester with 3 children.

A few fixtures and fittings need some attention.

Worst place to stay in UK

Nothing at all

Cannabis and cigarette smoking (regularly) smell even in 10-15 minutes one would feel sick. Booking.com shall remove such properties from its platform. Waiting for refund, I left the property along with my family after feeling sick in 15 minutes.

Great friendly and clean Qv

This place is lovely ! The host is super helpful and always available. Whilst you have a large private room the huge clean kitchen is shared and the other residents are very friendly and chatty. The area itself is a melting pot of cultures . Such a friendly vibe all around the community. We will return here definitely.

Not fit for purpose, run down and too noisy to sleep

Location is good and the owner was very friendly

The whole place is very run down and the downstairs room is unusable if there are guests upstairs. There is no sound insulation between floors or between rooms and hallways so every time someone moves upstairs or used the front door or kitchen it wakes you up. Stale cigarette smoke can be smelt in the rooms. The fan doesn’t work in the bathroom so the ceiling is mouldy and water drips onto you when you use the toilet. The ‘private’ bathroom is in the communal corridor. The smoke alarm is missing. Not fit for purpose at all.

A Nightmare, the worst experience ever.

IT WAS A NIGHTMARE. First of all NO ONE OF US COULD GOT ASLEEP EVEN AN HOUR IN THE ALL NIGHT. None told me about how to acces the building or the wifi, I had to figure out ourselves. The mattress are the worst mattress ever, I dont understand how they can offer this mattress for their guests, we could feel every mattress spring in our back. The ceiling creaking feeling that the lamp was gonna fall down, I have video recordings as proof, unfortunately I can not post them here but I will do it in google maps, so you can check it there, you can feel and hear every single step of the persons walking upstairs.(in my case the family from upstairs were awake walking in their room till 7a.m) The walls are of plasterboard we could hear everything from the upstairs room. The curtains are of poor quality so the light come through easily and even from outside they can see you. They offer me to move to another room but it was practically the same. Pay a little bit more and stay in Britannia hotel in city centre. For the price I didn't expect much but at least a place to get asleep and feel comfortable and not a nightmare. I hope this review would be helpful to improve this building and to be everyone aware. I wish I had seen a review like this one before and not had a nightmare.

Really easy to access. Good comm's from owner.

Room 5 - needs a little love: plug in the bathroom sink needed, only 1 working bulb in bathroom, toilet seat needs fixed. Bed linen/pillows need a refresh.

Maybe my expectations were high, but I wouldn't discribe it an apartment, more a room with 3 beds, one of the light fittings didn't have a shade, bathroom was clean but no mat on the floor so made it very slippy

Very very noisy at 3.30am & early morning. People running up & down stairs very vocal. No respect for other guests. Didn't realise the private bathroom was outside the room in the corridor, should maybe state that

Appliances in the bedroom were broken, cigarette burns on the communal work surfaces. Washing machine didn't work.

beds were comfortable

entire building stank of cannabis which isn’t great when I had my 3yr old, no toilet roll in our extra charged private bathroom. shower was disgusting so didn’t have one. people banging and crashing downstairs until 2am (not the hosts fault obviously) and was freezing cold. tv was like someone had placed a magnet too close to it and the colours were all over the place.. all in all not great for £111 per night! wouldn’t think I would stay again
