This was our second stay. Love the roominess atmosphere and decorations. Also love the location with close boat rentals and a dock on the property. Had great fishing last year but not so much this year, but that's fishing.

This gorgeous property lived up to its expectations. It was as beautiful inside as out. The amenities were more than expected, from fishing poles to kayaks to even scooters for the little ones. Life preservers were provided as well.
The beds were comfortable and the room arrangements gave family units privacy. The AC made the place quite comfortable (perhaps just a little too cold), but no complaints. There was adequate seating for groups for conversation in many places. The kitchen was well stocked with cookware.
The pier was a hit and quite conducive to launching kayaks and our canoe. Children caught crabs and fish off the dock.
Lots of things to do in the area too. Just beware of Tuesdays and Wednesdays when many places were closed!
It was very easy for the family to gather here. We'll definitely consider coming back.

We use to have a place in the Northern Neck when our kids were young (they are in their 30’s now). It was nice to be with family in a familiar place. We were there to have a celebration of life, and Reverend John from Corrotowman Baptist Church made the celebration perfect. The location and house are beautiful.

This is a beautiful property and a beautiful home. There were some HVAC issues but the property owner was very responsive. We would definitely return for another visit.

What a beautiful property! We stayed here as a gift to my in-laws for their 50th wedding anniversary. My mother in law said it was her favorite vacation. The view over the river was gorgeous, especially at sunrise and sunset. We did so much fishing and had beautiful weather. The house was huge and we were able to spread out, but yet come together to share meals, play games and spend time together.

My family has a long history with Virginia's "Northern Neck" and this property was the perfect location for four generations of us to recently gather for a long weekend. Although there were more than a dozen of us on hand, the spacious accommodations made it very easy for everybody to interact without feeling like we were on top of one another. Furthermore, the long dock and other amenities provided hours of fun for those who wanted to go fishing, crabbing, kayaking, swimming or playing cornhole -- the last of which we were even able to enjoy inside the large garage when it was raining outdoors.

Our family stayed here for a long weekend and we had a great time! The house was well stocked with everything. We enjoyed the volleyball set and bikes. We rented a boat from the nearby Yankee Point Marina, and had a great time on the water. The house was beautiful and perfect for a large family.

A large group of my friends and I stayed at this property and were shocked at how much space we had! The house is huge and the property is gorgeous with a great dock that fits everyone. One note is that the double bedroom is connected to another single bedroom and you have to walk through to access it which was a little odd. Otherwise, the place was more awesome than we could have imagined! We will likely return next year.

The house and property were very nice. However, the primary suite had no a/c for the first 2 days and the last day and night. I know that the electrician did his best. We also had a terrifying alarm go off on our second night that took three men with college degrees and an electrician to turn off. The most important suggestion that I have is about the use of the televisions. We were not informed that we would need to have our streaming accounts' passwords with us or that a google account was necessary to access the streaming. So, we were not able to enjoy any movies or news, etc. Also, we had no written information about the use of appliances or expectations about how to properly leave the house to depart.
Our host was apologetic and did respond to my texts right away. Our family of seven had plenty of room and enjoyed being together.

My family and I spent a beautiful July 4th holiday in this lovely home. We are a family of 14 that included 6 kids and it accommodated all of us perfectly. It was not only decorated beautifully but it was very spacious, immaculate, and had well equipped kitchens. The water view was stunning and the yard allowed us to do many fun activities. The host was immediately responsive to our questions. We truly loved this home and plan on returning in the near future!

Huge home with a fantastic water front view. We had fun with the provided kayaks and corn hole and spent a lot of time on the spacious deck. Well equipped kitchen. Wireless wasn’t great in the apartment off the garage. We were fortunate to find this property available for a few days on fairly short notice for family to gather related to a burial service and the property exceeded expectations!

Overall a very nice place. The HVAC system needs to be inspected because it was very difficult maintaining comfortable temps, especially upstairs. Aside from that, very nice.

My wife and I spent a 4 day weekend here with 3 other couples. There was plenty of space for us with room for more. The house and grounds are beautiful and well kept. It was more stocked with towels, kitchen utensils, trash bags, etc. than most places that we've rented. Jeffrey the host was responsive and pleasant. Highly recommend it!

The house was beautiful just like a magazine, we had a great time with didn't enjoyed the river because of weather is was raining and windy therefore we spend 3 days just eating and enjoying ourselves!!!

A lovely, large, well decorated home on the river. Perfect for our large family gathering. We appreciated the small touches that made it very comfortable. It had plenty of towels, soap and shampoo, and even coffee and creamers. We were made to feel very welcome. The host was supportive and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed being on the water with the lovely views. It wasn't an issue for us, but future renters should be aware that one of the upstairs bedrooms was only accessible through another bedroom. Also, that the property is not on the Irvington side of the river. Overall, we loved our stay and highly recommend it for a large group of friends or family.

This home is excellent if you have a large family. It's has plenty of sleeping spaces & a large kitchen. Our extended family of 10 adults & 6 grandkids enjoyed our Christmas get-together here.

This home is beautiful, clean, and well-stocked. We loved the bikes, fishing rods and all of the outdoor fun. Fishing was fabulous off the dock. The owner is very responsive and helpful. The tire pressure was low on a couple of the bikes and the owner had a tire pump delivered to us in less than an hour! The house is so spacious and welcoming! Our family had a fabulous time!

We stayed here for a long--weekend with some extended family (8 adults, 6 kids). A little bit removed from big grocery stores or restaurants, but once you're stocked up there's really no need to go anywhere. Its a beautiful location and a really nice house. There was plenty of room for all of us, and my sister appreciated having the additional privacy of the in-law suite since they have a baby.
There was plenty to do at the house and the there were bikes, fishing rods, and kayaks to use, as well as some games to play. We really appreciated the location on the river with the pier and kayaks and being able to get out on the water. Having all of the outdoor space was great, and there was plenty of shade in the evening so that we could dine outside on the deck.
The owner and maintenance staff are super responsive. We ran out of propane for the grill during our stay, and someone came out with a new tank so quickly that we were all surprised.
Everyone had a great time, and the biggest complaint was that we didn't get to stay longer. We're already talking about what to do next year, and coming back for a longer stay is on our list of ideas.

The host Jeffrey Wood was accommodating and responded quickly to any and all queries. The property is as nice as the pictures with plenty of space for 6 adults and 2 teenagers. Enjoyed the dock and kayaking on the river, managed to capture half a dozen crabs from the traps, and fishing poles were available to use as well. House was comfortable and overall everyone enjoyed!

The pictures doesn’t do Justice to the property! It is a huge, well cared for property and super clean!
We were a large group of 13 - kids and adults. There was more than enough space for all of us, without being on top of each other. The bathrooms were well stocked with toiletries and
Towels. Kitchen was stocked with all the vessels we could possibly need and basic groceries. All the bedrooms were very neatly done, beds and pillows were comfortable.
The water and deck were the highlights - we loved sitting on the deck catching sunrise and the moon. It was full moon when we there, and the reflection on the water was brilliant and serene.
Overall an excellent stay!

This property is exactly as advertised. It is spacious and clean with well stocked kitchen and baths - the host went above and beyond my expectations. We wanted for nothing. A great place for big families or friends. The host responded very quickly on all questions. Just so relaxing to sit at the waters edge from sunrise to sunset! The new little restaurant at the marina nearby was also a plus!

Very clean and large house on a beautiful piece of land. A long dock with crab traps was such a nice surprise. My friends had such an amazing time at this house. It was huge and comfortable and quiet and I would reccomend the property to anyone interested. Mr. Wood was very friendly on the phone prior to the stay and made us feel at home.

Excellent property and an amazing host, our best vrbo rental by far!!!!!!
The property is located at a deep country side ,It was a large house with private access to the lake through the back yard, We had plenty of amenities to enjoy inside the property such as voleyball, corn hole, shoe horse, board games, fishing and biking too. I believe we were one of the first guests and the property was in pristine condition, fully loaded kitchen items, toiletries etc. Bed linens were fresh, Master bedroom was outstanding. The host (Jeffrey Wood) was a nice gentleman ,he fixed cooling issue we had on Day1, and was always approachable throughout our stay, he was kind to let us take the blue crabs from the trap cage by the dock. He is even planning to offer Kayaks for the guests. Hands down this is by far the best VRBO rental experience for us.
