This hotel was perfect for our stay in NOLA prior to our cruise. The price was great, the location was perfect - short walk to port, it had a great breakfast and BONUS - when we arrived it was Happy Hour and each person in our room got two free drinks and they had snacks! Wow!

Overall our stay was great. The valet staff were extremely helpful when we asked for recommendations for restaurants. The front desk staff was very professional and welcoming.
The only issue was the bathroom towel rack was really rusty and there was mold on some of the caulking. It wasn’t that big of an issue so we never brought it up to the staff.

The room was spacious and convenient to the NCL cruise port. It is within walking distance of restaurants and the World War museum (which is a must see). They also have a complimentary Happy Hour.

When I arrived I was greeted by the most AMAZING front desk clerk Marvin!! He was kind, friendly, polite & efficient!!! I didn’t have to ask any questions the was very thorough!!!
The room was VERY comfortable & clean! It was everything we needed for our weekend stay.

Staff was amazing, very kind and helpful. Rooms were very clean. Food at breakfast was pretty good for hotel food. In a safe location that was easy to navigate and walk To nearby attractions. Stayed here before and after Our cruise out of NOLA and I’m so happy we did!! Marvin and Hailee were so attentive and personable, very helpful.

Hotel tired needs attention to maintanence, paintwork, carpets and furnishings. Location was good, staff somewhat disinterested. Can only valet park and very expensive. But staff really nice and helpful.

We came for the ERAS concert this past weekend. Overall I would stay there again, BUT valet needs either communication radios or more staff.
On Saturday we waited an hour and a half for my car to be brought to the front.
No communication on the ground level

The hotel is nice but for where it is and the price you’d think it would be better. Everything is just sort of old looking and dull. Needs lots of updates. The room furniture and everything was very mid. I wouldn’t call this a nice hotel. For the price point you can definitely do better. If the happy hour and breakfast matter then sure stay there but if you want something that looks and feels like 2024 don’t stay there.

Great stay, one of the better hotel breakfasts I've experienced.
Location is great steps away from critically acclaimed bars, and restaurants. Very friendly service.
The building is very large and old and sometimes shows it's age. Very enjoyable stay and the staff is fantastic.

We arrive in the afternoon. We didn’t have receive are keys to the room until several hours later as we were left in the lobby.

Our room was not ready at 4pm as promised. They had bed bugs, and the offered no compensation for any of the inconveniences.

When I tried to check in before 4, they said my room is ready but I cannot have it unless I give them $90. So we waited. At 4 they said my room now was NOT ready. We waited for many hours before they finally gave myself and my other family members a room. We missed our dinner reservations. I couldn't even get a shower so we had to go get fast food. Ruined our entire evening of plans after driving over 7 hours to town. This is the worst Embassy Suites I've ever been to.

I love Embassy Suites. But not this one. They tried to charge me $90 to check in 11 minutes early. I didn’t do it. 15 mins later, my room wasn’t ready. 2 hours late, I got into my room. Some staff were amazing, others not up to the Embassy Suites level I’m used to. Room was nice and breakfast was decent. I’ll be looking another direction when I come back to New Orleans :(

We have stayed here several times, and have loved it. But this time we were disappointed. The room was just not up to standards. The air conditioner cover was falling off the wall and the rug in the bedroom was very wet. Although the service from all the workers was excellent, we may have to rethink where we stay when in New Orleans next time.

The shower head was HORRIBLE.. trickled water out of it. A shower took almost an hour.. other than that we loved our stay there as always.

Loved the hotel lobby for drinks every evening and breakfast every morning. The staff was wonderful and the suite was huge. The pool, which I enjoyed on my last morning, was nice and it gave a great view of the amazing mural. The hotel was convenient to everything and walkable (even for an old guy like me) for the Quarter too. My only complaint was the air conditioning - combine hot and humid weather outside with cold and dry in the room and I got the sniffles for the my last two days

Had a couple of issues with the room most were resolved but they were not able to replace the broken coffee machine

Check in was good. Front desk lady was very nice. Unfortunately, the first room was a double(booked a king) and the a/c wasn't working-77 degrees... Back to lobby where the nice lady promptly got us a different room. A/c was good but still a double. Back to the lobby where the nice lady gave us another and assured us it was a king. Up to the 9th floor and key didn't work. Back to lobby, guess that room you can't program a key but they had the one that worked. Ok, back up and yay!, it opened and all good, cold and a king. This was at 11pm after a 16 hour day of travel and layovers so finally good to sleep!
Room was nice, bed comfortable, big TV's . Wish we could have arrived when we initially were supposed to but oh well, stuff happens. I had read reviews about a/c problems, just our luck I guess.
Rooms are quite nice and recommend for that reason and the nice front desk lady resolving our issue eventually.

Here’s a refined version that still conveys your frustration:
*"This was by far one of the worst hotels I've ever stayed in. They were severely understaffed, especially when it came to valet service. We had to leave our car unattended multiple times, and even had to park and retrieve it ourselves, yet they still charged us the full valet fee. I asked to speak with the manager several times and never got the chance. On top of that, I had to call the front desk multiple times just to get my room cleaned. Overall, a terrible experience!"*
This version highlights the main issues clearly and could be helpful for a review or complaint.

I love the location of this property. This is my second time staying here. However, this last time, the service lacked a bit. My bath towels had sooo much lint on them that I had to get a damp towel to get it off. I requested new towels and didn’t get them. Had to request them twice. There was only one roll of toilet paper and they gave us a box of tissue that you blow your nose with to use as toilet paper. I was very disappointed! I won’t be staying here again.

I didn’t get to stay because of the Hurricane Francine. Would like a refund or credit for another trip

The room was good, but need to be updated. Old furniture and fixtures. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The service was very good. The location is good unless you’re in love with the French Quarter, otherwise most places are within walking distance.

The hotel was a nice stay. Tyree in valet was absolutely wonderful. He was very attentive with his job. He made sure the cars were out in a timely manner. Always courteous and polite. He’s a great asset to the company.
