Nice hotel near city center. You can walk through city center and find many restaurants. Cardiff castle is nearby.

We've stayed at the Cardiff a few times and we really enjoy our visits.
The rooms are comfortable and have everything you need. The restaurant staff are amazing and very friendly (especially Charlie and Jennifer). Both ladies have a great attitude, always smiling and making us feel welcome and well looked after.
The food selection is excellent and always topped up throughout the morning.
The coffee machines have been out of order over the last few visits, but the staff made sure everyone had fresh filtered coffee, which we really appreciated.
The ladies on the front desk are also very lovely and helpful.
My only complaint would be not having complimentary water in all rooms. As someone who takes regular medications it's important I have water to hand, it's not a huge deal but it would be a lovely addition to our stay, especially if I forget to bring some with me.
We look forward to coming back for our Christmas Eve shopping trip.

Perfect location for what we wanted. Parking was abit of a nightmare tbh.
Staff were great. Everything was very clean. Really lovely breakfast. Nice pool and facilities. Great check out time. Staff managed to get us into our room ealier.

Check-in was very smooth and our room was ready early which was great so we could shower after a 6 hour car journey and then head out to watch rugby. We waited for nearly an hour for our pre-booked table reservation but the food was good. Unfortunately been charged twice for dinner so need to call the hotel tomorrow. The spa facilities were extremely disappointing and desperately need upgrading.

We were staying away for our anniversary
The Hilton went out of there way to make this special , with an upgraded room , balloons , cupcakes and a complimentary drink
Huge thanks to them

Great location , close to castle & shops . Hotel is immaculate in cleanliness. Staff were friendly and polite. Our room was a standard double but had everything we needed . Lovely big, comfy bed so we both had a good nights sleep . Couldn’t fault it. Will definitely return .

Great location and excellent breakfast. It would be good to have a blanket in the room as it was cold at night.

Great hotel, great location, executive lounge a great base to recharge and refresh. Great staff like Chiara at check in.

We travel a lot as a family and i have to admit, this is the best family room that we have stayed in. Modern, stylish, decent size, two queen sized beds, huge tv and functional bathroom.

Fantastic. I stayed here for my birthday and to have a few drinks. Fantastic stay, rooms are nice, great views. The service from the staff is probably the best I’ve encountered!

Parking wasn’t great, but the quality of the room was great and the staff were extremely helpful.

The room was clean, the check in was easy, the bed was comfortable. We had free wi-fi and breakfast since we were Hilton members. We parked off site at Just Park which was a ten minute easy walk and cost 20 dollars for 29 hours. It is in city centre with tons of dining options out the door. Cardiff castle is across the street and worth seeing.

Check in was easy and the lady who checked me was very friendly and had a nice personality.
Room was good bathroom was spotless.
Pool and sauna was very good also and changing rooms very clean.
Restaurant was good,, quite a good choice on menu and reasonable priced for Cardiff. Breakfast was excellent.
Has a very nice stay at this Hilton and would definitely stay there again.

Nice centrally located hotel. Staff good bed comfortable

We stayed in a clean comfortable room with a view of the castle. As we were there for a concert the hotel was very busy and the service for dinner was very slow. The staff were very apologetic and said there were only two chefs on duty so maybe they should have foreseen the situation and had more people in. We thought the parking was vastly overpriced at £32.95 per night. This is the most expensive we have ever encountered at a hotel. The nightly room rate was also very expensive but this was no doubt due to the fact that Billy Joel was at the nearby Principality Stadium. On the whole we could not fault the attitude or helpfulness of the staff.

Hotel is in a great location, close to city centre and all the night life and shopping and attractions. Whilst it is next to a lot of bars and restaurants, it was still quiet and we felt safe walking back later in the evening.
Swimming pool was the main reason we booked it and that was a lot of fun.
Bfast was busy, but lots of options.

Hotel was very central and we were welcomed very well on check in. Hotel very clean and liked the security on the door at night. Room was clean and spacious but bed very hard and not that comfortable. Only other negative is car parking is expensive. We parked 10 mins away in NCP but still quite dear.

We booked the Hilton as a last-minute mother daughter trip. The hotel itself is a great and ideal location. Unfortunately the hotel is dated and isn't what we expected for a 5 star hotel.
The room was extremely cramped with too much furniture for a small space. The table was so big you couldn't get past the bottom of the bed without hurting your legs, and in an emergency, that could pose a safety concern.
The shower was extremely slippery but lovely water pressure and complimentary toiletries.
The room was dusty in many places, and we had some flies coming in from the AC or ventilation grids.
The bed was comfortable, but the duvet was extremely thin, and the sheets weren't tucked in, so it kept sliding around whilst sleeping.
The room service was very strange, we called to order some room service, but the man just hung up on me without acknowledging he had the order no thank you or goodbye, which was extremely rude.
The pizza was £17!!! And was very small, and i suspect previously frozen, it was pleasent but had an oily taste. The room service tray was dirty and dusty with sticky marks all over it, which was unpleasant.
We ordered some drinks, but they arrived in glass bottles with no bottle openers, so we had to resort to using a spoon to open the bottle tops.
Breakfast was good, a little all over the place. The fresh fruits and vegetables weren't the best, very wilted and not the best selection.
The scrambled eggs where very watery and mushy which wasn't nice.

The doors to the main reception was intermittent and only 1 lift was working to service 7 floors
2.0
Great location and large room with nicely refurbed bathroom. The sofabed was so uncomfortable we ended up buying an inflatable mattress for the floor.
Housekeeping rarely cleaned the room and when they did it wasn’t very thorough.
Also of note for those with sensory issues the entrance had an overpowering artificial scent constantly meaning my autistic daughter found it unbearable

Location was perfect. We had tickets to a gig at the castle. They could do with upgrading the pillows.

Really lovely overnight stay. Price was very reasonable. Extremely close to everywhere we needed to be. Staff were incredibly helpful

The staff were extremely nice, helpful, and patient. The hotel is in a great location near the royal property and close to the center city. And the room was comfortable and clean.

We loved the Hilton Cardiff and still can’t believe how affordable such a beautiful place was relative to other properties around the UK. While we were there a prom was happening, which was so sweet to see. There were tiny sparkles of glitter on the carpets and couches the next day and we thought it was adorable! The staff couldn’t have been kinder or more helpful. Turns out we got engaged outside Cardiff, so we will be back!

Only stayed 1 night here but im so glad i did as the location is perfect. Its only afew minutes walk to the local high st, the bus stop is right outside and the castle is just opposite the hotel. All the staff were really friendly and went out of their way to help us. Rooms were very comfy and clean, would say this is more a 5* then a 4*

Very expensive to have a few of the dinning area

Nice property. Room was ok. Paid additional amount for an upgraded room but the view was of a wall and roof. Huge pilar in the bathroom.
Lift broke. Coffee machine broke and no hash browns. Not sure how you run out of hash browns when they are frozen
4.0
Negatives: Booked the hotel because it said the pool was open 7am to 9pm. This wasn’t true, so we couldn’t use it. We paid more for a hotel with a pool.
I ordered room service 07.00-07:30 as we had to leave early. It was never delivered despite reception telling me it was on its way at 07:40. At 8:10 we gave up and went to the restaurant. At 8:20 we got our food but had no time to eat it all.
I paid extra for a room with a view. That view is obscured by a stale smelling net curtain that is fixed in place.
The reception system was down when we went to check out, so I couldn’t see any room charges.
Positives: the room was spacious, quiet and the air con worked well. Reception staff apologised for the food issue.
