It was fine. The property is odd because the check in desk is on the second floor. The big problem is that there is no onsite parking and no valet. You have to park your car in a deck a block away and its $50 a night. I'd probably choose another place in the future.

Housekeeping tried to enter my room before checkout time while I was in the bathroom. Despite me yelling “no” multiple times. Workers also could not keep up with the demand for people wanting breakfast. And some guests hoarded plates of stacked food while others of us got nothing. The room was clean. The bed was comfy. I like this chain, but this experience was very disappointing.

Location was perfect. Very clean. Linens and pillows were old and dingy. Mattress was not comfortable

the breakfast and kitchen service so bad rude staff not clean .. misding items all the time .. very important to change this bad service.

Housekeeping didn’t make the room in the 3 days I stood. Breakfast is really poor.
Nice rooms, amenities and comfortability.

We enjoyed our stay at Home2 Suites. It was perfect for our family with the kitchen & full size fridge which came in handy for baby food and leftovers. We love that the hotel is dog friendly so we were able to easily travel with her. The staff were all friendly & helpful! Appreciated the late check out flexibility as it takes us longer than normal with a little one.
We wished the breakfast time was longer and it was replenished as the food was gone soo quickly. The elevators were slow so it wasn't as convenient to step out quickly.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would come here again.

Staff memebers were very helpful and kind
4.1
Comfy beds, sufficient breakfast, easy to go out in to the city and a nice kitchen.
4.1
Mattress was filthy and stained with no mattress cover. Hotel hallways had not seen a vacuum cleaner in the 4 days we stayed. Room was dirty at check-in.
4.1
We were very pleased with the hotel, particularly the cleanliness and spacious room with kitchen amenities. The employees were also professional and kind.
4.1
Many missing items from our room ! You should develop a detailed checklist to ensure every item and amenity is in place before guests arrive.
4.1
Loved the location. We also got to check in hours early without a charge. The staff was amazing.

Spacious room accommodations & very friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was great Nice location and convenient for walking downtown Chicago
4.1
Great location and nice staff. Very clean room and comfortable bed. I wish they had some vegies for breakfast though.
4.1
The room conditions are a bit deteriorated and the hotel room was quite noisy as I was woken up every morning by the neighboring guests. However, for the location and price, the hotel was an acceptable value.
4.1
Breakfast is not good. Front desk and staff though are friendly

We had a great experience! Staff were very friendly and helpful. The property is in a great location close to transportation and restaurants. Felt very safe.

Great city view. Cleanliness. Good service.

It was a great location. The front desk staff were super friendly and accommodating. The beds were very hard but pillows were great. The rooms were clean but we were told housekeeping does not come in for a three night stay. The breakfast was a joke. It was a tiny space for way too many people. There was not enough food between 8-9 and the gentleman working was rude and could not have moved any slower with bringing out more hot food and stopped at 8:50 when closing was 9. This was one of the reasons we picked this hotel and were very disappointed.

Perfect location. Excellent service. Easy to walk around to Mag Mile. Great restaurants close. Very pleased with our stay. The hotel team were timely, courteous, and very helpful. Probably the best staff I have experienced outside of a 5 star hotel. Breakfast is just fine as with any hotel breakfast from these chains, but it was fresh and fully stocked, clean and had a great variety of food. Parking is a couple of blocks away which at first seemed inconvenient, but I didn’t plan on a lot of in and out trips while downtown.

The location was close to coffee shops, whole foods and gyms. When we arrived I was told my room had been downgraded as the hotel often over books. No other rooms available. We had a tiny room with a curtain to separate the double beds. No privacy from our children.
The shower door would not stay shut and kept opening during showers and would wet up the entire bathroom, only cleaned room every second day, shower head is not adjustable and is set to hit you in the face and is set to very high pressure. We expected a stove but only had a microwave. Coffee was terrible and they ran out of bottled water and pop for 3 days. Another guest decided to sit in the hallway and video chat on his cell phone at 0300, extremely loud conversation. Guests running up and down hallways. Worst hotel stay ever! I will be writing to the corporate office. Find another place to stay,

Easy walk to Michigan Ave. Staff was helpful. Room was clean and nice. The kitchen in the room was fantastic! Breakfast was just ok. Food was cold most of the time. Would stay there again.

Every day for breakfast was the same things

shower & beds were not clean, no sheets for sofa bed, only 3 pillows for a bed for 2 people, took our towels & had to call to replenish, get a new waffle maker!

After waiting nearly 2 hours past check in to have a room that was clean and ready for us, we were greeted with a rock hard bed that felt as if it slanted toward the headboard, and the 3 uncomfortable pillows were so flat two people couldn’t get enough elevation to sleep comfortably. So, we thought a shower might help, however there was no amount of clicking on switches that would activate a bathroom fan, so as we showered under the softest of sprinkles that may as well have been a mister, we decided to take the hotel up on their offer to make it right or refund our stay. The staff were completely useless, so empty promises are posted on the lobby sign I guess. After several hours of horrendous noises ricocheting from the streets below up the skyscraper buildings, I finally (at 3:00 am) grabbed my phone and booked a hotel in another location. Though the comfort of knowing I would soon be out of this miserable place did bring some joy, it wasn’t enough to let my body relax and get some rest. The best part of our stay was hauling our suitcases blocks away as we walked through the Chicago streets to our $51 per night parking garage, because even though the hotel claims to have on site parking available for a fee, they in fact only offer you a jaunt through the city lugging your personal belongings behind you as though you are homeless and afraid to saunter around without having every one of your belongings in tow. 1 out of 10, would not recommend.

Checked in the day before and chose my room. We arrived at 3pm to check in, was told the room as not available yet, it would be about 10-20 minutes. Room was not available until 5:40pm, it wasn't the room I had chosen, and the non-smoking room smelled terribly of cigarette smoke. I also had Hilton gift cards to use, and while the staff at the check-in counter was helpful, they were not going through and the manager could have cared less to try and help. The room was $470 for one night. I had $400 in Hilton cards I was not able to use. Overall, not a great stay unfortunately.

I wasn’t a fan of this hotel. I had reserved a 2-night stay, but I had to check out after the first night because the carpet was causing my asthma to flare up. I’m not sure if it needed a deep cleaning, but I definitely had a hard time breathing by the time I woke up the next day.
Also, not a fan that I have to park over a block away. (Especially for $50/night) With a parking rate like that, it should at least have an attached garage in Chicago.

Very close for walking to Starbucks and Riverside . Good location to travel around the city by walking or bus station.

Incredible location, you can enjoy its surroundings by walking, variety of restaurants, bars, supermarkets

We love this hotel cause of the location also how nice the rooms are. Our favorite place is Storyville which is a bar/restaurant with phenomenal food that’s located on the same block of this establishment
