Great cabin with a hot tub! Great communication from the owner!

It was a perfectly lovely stay! We were here for our anniversary & a concert at Harrah's Casino.
The cabin was clean and had everything we could need. Communication &customer service was A1. They even offered to ship an item I left behind.
We are already planning our trip back with the whole family!

We booked due to the great reviews- these HAVE to be fake/paid reviews. Beds are literally a thin mattress on top of a literal piece of plywood with legs on the bottom. Hair on shower walls and no body wash- but there was hand soap in the shower in its place. Dust bunnies in all corners- just not kept up.
Now the worst part- about 30 mins after laying in bed I broke out in huge hives- after the swelling went down, we were able to see clearly defined bed bug bites - yuck. It was already midnight, so we had to stick it out. First thing in the morning, we booked a new hotel and left. Upon telling management about the bites and bedbugs, their response was “it’s the woods, there will be bugs”. I reiterated that these are BED BUGS not normal bugs. The response was that they’d have pest control take care of it before the next guests. They then refused a refund for the 2nd night that we didn’t stay. Hotels.com had to get involved and after viewing the photos we sent refunded us.

Had family rent 3 cabins from this property All three cabins have the same address. But I’m actually the address is different. Two cabins are at the same address but the third one was off site at approximately 37 minutes away from the other two. The property shared with us the address information the day we were to arrive. We shared with them that the misleading information on the website and they shared that they could not do anything for the first night because it was too late. Jeanette, the property owner/manager shared that we should have told her we were together in the beginning. We didn’t call her because all cabins have the same address. I shared with her my frustration but was met with “ I can’t do anything “. We did not stay at our cabin any of the nights but was still charged because I should have known that the address are different. The address on the website is the office address not where you will be staying. Never again.

Clean and as pictured in the photos. Nothing fancy, but has just the right level of amenities. The hot tub is amazing! Always clean and ready for guest. Fabulous cabin for a dog too. Close to potty spots and set back from the road away from traffic.

Quiet and private. The cabin was a wonderful “cabin in the mountains”…perfect!
Don’t come here if you are looking for flat pavement and concrete sidewalks. Perfect for folks who love the outdoors.

Great little cabin! We stayed in cabin 4 keep paddeling. Cabin was clean and comfortable. Hot tub was great! Bed was too soft for us, but it wasnt unbearable. When we did our online check in they asked if we were celebrating anything and we told them our 31st wedding anniversary when we arrived there was a happy anniversary garden flag and a bottle of wine on the table. Great litte gesture. Wpuld definitely recommend!

My first cabin (ever). Do know what the best part of staying at a hotel with a hot tub? The hot tub. Do you know what the worst part about staying at a hotel with a hot tub is? Awkwardly sharing a small space with strangers.
This was my first time having a hot tub to myself and I was definitely spoiled. Aside from that, I loved this cabin in Nantahala. My dog got to come and enjoy the cabin as well and she did. We had cabin #1 which is the Gone Fishing Cabin. I would recommend this one the most because the hot tub and deck overlook the woods. It made for a fun memory sitting in the hot tub watching the sunset.
Also, this cabin came with a full kitchen with kitchen utensils. There was even coffee/coffee pot for you. There was plenty of towels and I even liked the theme every cabin had. The beds were also very comfortable and the WiFi was reliable.
I absolutely loved staying here. It was quiet, cozy, and comfortable. No loud hallways of a hotel, no cars being loud in a parking lot, no sharing a hot tub with strangers, no having “to eat out”, and just straight up privacy. As soon as we had the place for an hour my wife and I were already planning when to come back in the fall/winter. This will be our new go to escape in the mountains

The cabin was clean.Kitchen was had all things needed to cook a meal . We had privacy. We loved the back porch. Check in was very easy. 10 minutes from Bryson City. We will stay here again.

It was a warm and cozy experience. It was near a lot of the main attractions in the area. Yet it offered a quiet get away from the bustle of tourist with all the comforts of home.

We wanted a quiet 25th anniversary weekend and we got it! We had a very nice time.

Phenomenal management. We had a great stay with no issues. Our cabin was so cozy, clean, and exactly what we were looking for our weekend away!
Only word of caution- the road to get to the cabin is very steep, has a super sharp turn, and is not very wide. We got nervous every time going up and down that we would meet someone and it not be wide enough for two vehicles.

The cabin was awesome. The road to the cabin was intimidating. Gravel, curvy and steep. We will stay again.

The cabin was a real cozy snuggle in get away after a busy day of touring. Even had a complimentary bottle of wine to enjoy in the hotub. Ease of use for all amenities. Quite a lovely stay.

It was a perfect getaway stay, close enough to everything yet we had the secluded quiet feeling of nature surrounding us. Don’t forget to bring charcoal. My husband used their grill both nights. The owner corresponded with us to ensure we were comfortable and even left us with a bottle of wine 🍷 The hot tub was clean comfortable and most relaxing. I didn’t like the mattress, It sucked me in but my husband loved it. We loved it and hope to come back!!!

Cabin near The Smoky Mountains was very nice! Hot tub on the deck facing the woods was a plus after a day of walking. Would stay there again!

If you are interested in this property, book through their website not a third party like Travelocity. We booked via Travelocity, and the photos that Travelocity had posted did not at all match the cabin we booked. But looking at the Nantahala Cabins website, they are accurate.
We were not aware until a confirmation email, that the cabin we selected was "offsite" (6 miles away from the other cabins). It is up a steep unpaved road that many vehicles (and certainly motorcycles) will not be able to navigate.
This unit (Silvermine) is truly a cabin in the woods, and comes with the challenges. Plenty of mouse traps in the cabin, but some mouse droppings in the kitchen drawers and on towels in the bathroom.
We brought this to the property owners attention and they did send over new towels (we had already removed the drawer and cleaned it).
Musty smell as well and almost any clothing we took out of our bags at the cabin had to be laundered due to the musty smell.
I would be willing to look again at the cabins on the main property. The owners are very nice and responsive, so I don't want to completly discount their offering.

Beautiful cabin in the woods! The owners respond to every request. We were in cabin #8, and had a beautiful view of the mountains from the bedrooms windows and from the porch. Kitchen has everything you need, and there is a washer/dryer right in the cabin. Gas fireplace makes the cabin so cozy!
The cabin is close to the main road, but you have to get up a steep heel on a gravel road to get to it. It was a bit challenging the first time, but we got used to it. The view was the reward.

Cabins are well maintained and very cozy. Hot tub view is amazing. Location is secluded and peaceful but near many attractions. Owners are great and very accommodating and easy check in and out. Highly recommend if you like cozy cabind with hot tubs, grills and firepits set in beautiful mountain landscape.

The view and hot tub were amazing. It looks a little outdated inside but it's cozy. The drive up to the cabin was well maintained as well. We were lucky to have snow during our stay and we had no problems going down or up the road.

The place is not fancy but very clean and tidy. Perfect for our hiking vacation. The hot tub was awesome for sore muscles! The picture is the view from the front porch.

Mrs. Jeanette is a sweet lady and we had a great time at the cabins. Jacuzzi, grill, and the cabin itself were great. They put a lot of effort in ensuring you have a fun time in the mountains. They make sure to list the local attractions and give you many options like horseback riding for example to do. My family and I will certainly be back at Nantahala cabins in the future!

I loved the cabin and location, but I wasn’t happy about the extra $118 that was required at check in. I thought all payments were taken care of prior to check in. Read the fine print.
